Went to office and it was closed. Had to wait for employee to show up. The haul was parked so close to another one that it was unsafe. Then employee lost keys and couldn’t contact anyone to get a code to see if it was in a different lockbox. Took about an hour and finally found the keys. Due to running behind on time, I was not able to fill up van with gas and had to pay a late fee.

PAUL PAfter confirmation with customer service via phone and a confirmation email the day prior to the reservation, the key was not left in the lock box. Being the reservation and move was at 6am on a Sunday there was very limited options. We had to rent from another company and our move was significantly delayed.
Hillary GNot the locations fault however your uhaul website doesn’t function properly . Was sent into a constant loop to check in and could not get code for key box. Eventually the employee on-site had to enter my reservation in her system. Not self service. Horrible time consuming experience. Fix your website uhaul.

SARAH BPhotos of uhaul during mobile check in were not of current condition of vehicle; very dirty/dusty interior with straw wrappers inside; loose steering wheel; exterior was not washed and extremely dusty as well. I have rented from uhaul several times and this was the worst condition I have received a uhaul

BRIAN KWe couldn’t make our pickup time at 7 am and arrived just before 11. Trying to troubleshoot the app, calling customer service, and finally getting the truck took over an hour. The location was supposed to have office hours, but a door sign said the manager was out the entire time we were there so we couldn’t buy any last minute packing supplies. The truck was dirty on the inside-broken glass in the back, and stains and dirt in the cab. The app doesn’t have you check the back, and even after supplying photos the only option if you say it’s unclean is to be charged a $25.00 cleaning fee. We returned the truck in time and the manager out sign was still posted. Lot of headaches to use something inanimate. I’ll never use UHaul again and I don’t recommend a company that doesn’t update it’s office hours or clean the items, especially during a global pandemic.

Charles cUhaul has come a long way equipment wise. New trucks in excellent condition. The only problem I have is not waterproof. That truck holds everything new and dear to me so I shouldn't have to worry about weather! If I want it to rain - I rent an Uhaul!!!

Jamie PThe online/phone check out process took 45 minutes to complete so I lost that time on my rental and was late to my pickup. The chat person kept saying she needed more and more verification to see who I was regardless of the fact that I sent photos of my DL in 5 photos and I have rented with UHaul several times in the past. Lady at location was very unfriendly. After waiting in the lot for someone to check in the truck, I looked in the windows and then went in. She said "can't you see that we are open!? Can't you see the Open Sign?!" As if I had committed some personal offense by looking in the deeply tinted front door glass? Then I was told I had to go through the arduous check in process on the phone instead of simply handing in the keys and having a quick walk around. Will never use the online process again. Complete waste of time and extremely inefficient. Have never had these problems at Ryder or Penske or at the UHaul on Cave Creek Road.
Rick GOffice opened at 9, my appointment was at 9, yet they didn't open the doors before 9:30. Also weren't there when I returned my rental yet their business was still supposed to be open for 2 more hours. All in all extremely poor customer service

Rod BThe workers were friendly and helpful! The truck windshield was not clean. Upon returning the vehicle there was with saying closed for lunch. That is understandable but over an hour?!
Sue RShe was helpful and setup the rental for a one way trip run, the only thing that was messed up on the contract the estimated miles required for the trips should of been 52 and not 32. I found this out on returning the truck at the drop off location.
Alfonzo RThis was by far the worst experience I've ever had with renting a moving truck. I will never recommend Uhaul under any circumstances to anybody I know. Not only did the app not work and left me out in the cold waiting for my truck and it ditional two and a half hours but I couldn't get ahold of anybody in Uhaul to help me. When I finally did get the truck and have to pay my helper overtime because he had to wait I turn the truck back in and my final receipt shows a $14 charge for something I never agreed to. I am going to make a statement on Yelp as well regarding my Uhaul experience. I certainly hope somebody reads this and decides to contact me and make something right because this was a terrible experience and I did everything right by trying to follow your app.
