The check-in process took 30 minutes because the mobile pick-up process resulted in my still having to go inside and deal with the clerk at the location, who did not know what to do, which took additional time. If their process still requires working with a clerk, then why is it advertised as not having to work with a clerk? This location's pick-up process needs serious attention.Steve B.
I was charged $70. For a $19.99 U-Haul rental with no more than 10 miles round trip/1hr 30min. Woman up front was unprofessional. I would like my partial money back. I don't mind paying for what I used.Bryce R.

Provide a ramp and even a hand truck without extra rental fee. That's why we rent a truck rather than find a friend with a large SUV. We were handicapped without either for moving large items from a storage unit.Noreen S.

The u-haul person pointed to a spot in the grass where she wanted the trailer dropped off and then went inside her building, never to return. I had to back the trailer in place, and unhook it by myself. At 68 years old, and having a bad back, this is not what I should be doing.BRUCE H.
A little more training by AFM for all locations as to how to use and what to do when equipment is received regarding the fairly new pig tail configuration of the trailer lighting system. Do you leave it on the trailer or remove it and store it inside office until trailer is rented again? From my point of view leaving it on the trailer is asking for damaged, stolen, or just plain moisture damage in very short time thus increasing the cost of having the lighting attachment configured this way.Jere J.

First of all I filled out an express pickup on internet and was to pick up trailer at 9 am 06/14/17. No one was there so I had to call them at home. They got there at 9:20. They had to fill out more stuff keeping me there even later. Second, trailer was parked in muddy area instead of concrete area. I was muddy knees down from trying to hook up trailer. I was disappointed. I did my part but don't think at all they did their part.Robert S.

The Dealer was great. But the Fort Worth office mislead me. I rented a 26 foot truck and found when I got to the place to load the floor of the truck was not flat so I could not slide my load. I called Fort Worth and Donna said if the truck won't work then just take it back and get a refund. When I got back with the truck to the dealer Donna said charge me full price $131.00. One tire had a screw in tire (flat) when I was picking it up, so I told them and went to Discount Tire and spent 1.5 hours getting it repaired. I was told they would reimburse for cost of tire. I do a lot of business with Discount Tire so the charged me $0. I asked for compensation for time (like no charge for blankets) and received nothing. I will be renting again soon from u-haul and think a $20 credit is not un-reasonable.Steve B.

The manager was very, very helpful and was happy to help me even after closing time for the location. I would recommend this location and would use it again if I ever have a need in Cleburne again. The problem was that I could not get the trailer lights to work, so I ended up returning it to the location without using it. I have a hitch and trailer light setup that was installed by Uhaul and worked without incident on 2 other occasions. For some reason (perhaps it was an issue with this older trailer's wiring), the lights would not work, then would not work reliably, and then not at all.JAMES M.

There is a lot of room for improvement. This review is not only about this specific location, but about my U-haul experience as a whole. We are loyal U-haul customers and have never had a problem before, but this experience has been an absolute nightmare. I was trying to make a one-day trip to Ponca City, OK to clear out what remained in my late great-grandfather's house so that my family in Oklahoma could put the house on the market. We made our reservation through the U-haul website, which told us there were no available trucks in Ponca City to pick up on Saturday, July 30. That was fine, no problem. It tells us an alternate location is Blackwell, OK that has an available 10' ft truck to be picked up on Saturday. So I book the reservation. The next morning, we begin our trip from Cleburne, TX to Blackwell, OK to pick up what we thought was our reserved truck. When we are in north Texas, not far from the state line, I call the U-haul location in Blackwell to confirm we are good to go, only to find out that they actually changed our pick-up date to Monday, August 1. That was completely unacceptable, as my husband and I both have jobs and were making a special out of state trip for this occasion. I told them so, and asked them to please cancel that reservation. I then called the U-haul national service number. After waiting on hold for ages, I finally get transferred to Brain in the Scheduling department. Brian worked with us to find what seemed to be the last available truck in the tri-state area. But it was in Haltom City, which we had already driven well past. At this point, we are desperate though, so we take it. Brian also assured us at that time that we would be comped the extra mileage to take the truck from Haltom City to Blackwell, since we never intended to drive the truck that far to begin with. We turn around and drive an hour backwards to Haltom City and pick up that truck. The woman at the counter there was incredibly rude and indifferent, and we were also told we could pick any drop-off location in our home town of Cleburne the next day. So we drive to Ponca City. After loading it up, we immediately drive it back to Cleburne, TX. The next morning, we unload it, and I then get an email stating that "Per our conversation, your drop-off location is confirmed as being in Burleson, TX." I have NO idea what conversation that would be referring to, and Burleson was an additional 30 miles from our agreed upon drop-off of Cleburne. No, that's unacceptable. So again, I call the U-haul 800 hotline to wait on hold for 20 minutes until I can get a real person, and explain to them that my reservation agreement was randomly changed AGAIN. This person fixes it to show we are dropping off at Benco Storage in Cleburne. We go to drop the truck off, and upon reviewing the contract see that we were in fact given 79 allowed miles (which is the round trip distance between Haltom City, TX and Cleburne, TX - no indication that we were actually to be drivinHannah D.
