GREGORY LThe Austin U-Haul location where I rented the trailer was very helpful. However, the Gunnison U-Haul location for my dropoff was horrible. The manager/owner - Tony Boston - tried to change my dropoff location from Gunnison, Colorado to Montrose Colorado, over two hours away, despite the contract I signed specifying Gunnison as the dropoff location. I spoke with him and he confirmed he does this all the time to customers that rent U-Haul trailers to be dropped off at his location. He tried to blame U-Haul for renting trailers to people with the promise they could drop it off in Gunnison. Needless to say, he did nothing to help me. I dropped the trailer off in Gunnison in accordance with my signed U-Haul contract and then he charged me a $100 "towing, recovery or abandoned equipment fee" and a $20 "after hours" fee, both of which I have disputed with my credit card company and will not pay. U-Haul should not continue doing business with this guy, and no one heading to Gunnison Colorado should trust U-Haul because this guy will try to force them in to a four-hour round trip to drop off their trailer despite what their contract says. unbelievable horrible way to treat customers and a definite "black eye" for U-Haul, a company I have had great experiences with until now.

We have rented everything from in-town rentals to cross country rentals from Andy. Trucks, vans, and trailers it is a great experience every time! My family and I highly recommend this location

I recently had to drive a 15 ft U-Haul over a large mountain and he explained in detail how the tow haul worked on a U-Haul. I had no issues going or coming back over the mountain. I can't say enough good about this location.

JAMES JThe person who worked there was completely rude. He complained to me that I shouldn’t even be bringing a trailer to him, which he admitted was some sort of an issue with he and corporate U-Haul , yet he dished out all of his grief to me over it. Initially, I thought he was going to not allow me to drop off the trailer but he reluctantly accepted it, and after he made me take the trailer to the self-wash in 12 degree weather where I spent $25 cleaning his snow & ice covered returned trailer. I did not say anything but thought, if being a U-Haul location is such a burden to him, why in the hell have it as apart of his business, especially if he’s going to be angry with the customer over how much of a burden it is?? Nevertheless, I’ll never recommend his business to anyone.

SCOTT KEasy drop off; very helpful. No storage on site when I arrived. I had to research availability found nothing. Then miraculously a storage company I called the day before recheck your system and something popped up.. Location for pick up and when they sell you storage, they should check the location to confirm that their storage available not just assume and say that your storage will be assigned to you when you arrive because that’s not what happened here and I’m moving into a hotel so it’s very stressfulI had no place to store my Personal items. Next day just was blessed and was able to drop off. The trailer was super easy and the man was very friendly and helpful with food suggestions nearby thank you received no credit received no help from the manager had to call the one8:00 number and they just said storages on a on availability bases, but they should’ve stated that I could have confirmed storage. Needs improvement. Thank you. Everyone was very professional
