Agent was polite, but when I first came, the place was open but with no one inside. Had to wait about ten min for him to come. The truck had someone else's dirty mask in the glove compartment, and the dolly and pads I reserved were not available.

I chose a drop off location in Basking Ridge, NJ and at some point my drop off location was changed to Bergenfield over an hour away. This is absolutely unacceptable. Called customer service and both of the people I spoke with were incredibly rude & called me a liar. The last one said I would be charged extra if I took it to the closer location but refused to give me a dollar amount. Additionally the van was never full and at many points wouldn't go over 40mph. It made a horrible noise if I tried to go any faster (I was on the interstate this is very dangerous). The van swayed aggressively like the tires needed to be realigned. The van told me the oil life was at 5% and that is pretty unacceptable I think to give to someone traveling almost 1,300 miles. I was also never offered any sort of toll pass option which I have previously been offered with local rentals. I went though 8 states. Avoiding tolls is pretty difficult with that much travel and trying to get to my destination in a reasonable amount of time & miles. There was someone's used face mask in the car which leads me to believe they didn't clean the car very thoroughly. Will not be renting from uhaul again.

The clerk who gave me documents to sign and handed me the keys, was not wearing a mask. I asked him to kindly put a mask on and he refused. This is outragous to me during Corona that service providers refuse to wear masks.

I would do it again, but because we were moving a lot of things like mattresses I feel it was too dirty. Could have a leaf blower and blow all the dust out of the uhaul after use. Quick minute would be much better.

When I returned the van I was told that because I did not top off the fuel U-haul would make a HAUL and charge me $5.50 per gallon plus $35.00 refueling charge. In my case that would be $ 57.00 ..That's nonsense! I paid $8.70 at the gas station. That part sucked! JC

Truck was not clean. I swept before and after, including inside the cab. Ordered blankets but wasn't given them. The gentleman I returned it to took them off my bill, but the furniture I moved was damaged as a result of not having them

Tell customers you have to download the uhaul app. The browser could not locate me. The truck had a low tire reading And the tpms would not turn off even after filling it

This is not a complaint regarding the U-Haul location, but of corporate policy. U-Haul's pricing, while not really expensive, is deceptive. The vehicle that was advertised for $19.95 per day cost me over $70.00 with mileage ($0.99 / mile for 30 miles), insurance ($14.00)and sales tax for the one day I used the truck. I did know the estimated cost when I reserved the vehicle, but still feel the advertised cost was very misleading.

Provide via an easy carry card an 1- Emergency roadside assistance number 2- Detailed instructions for different roadside emergencies. 3- Instructions as to what to do with the cardboard box in the front window/front passenger seat. Otherwise, everything was aweesome! Thank you!

I went through the entire check in process online with DL and CC but when i arrived i had to provide the information again. DOnt waste peoples time with preregistering when they have to do it again upon arrival. Not loacal stores fault but company policy issue that needs to be addressed.

There's a sticker on the truck that says it's swept clean after every use. But that was not the case. There was tons of gravel and small pieces of wood that had to be swept out of it before we could start loading.

I have a problem with billing , my son card was charged Though his transaction of Renting didn't go through so I did rent under my name . The billing was confusing , I didn't see any charges on my card but the authorization hold of $ 247. 13 which is on hold by my bank and yet the receipt and the customer service is saying my card was charged . So why my son card was charged more than the final amount . No one can help me . Frustrating.

The WIFI connection was poor, took us 45 min. to complete the pick up rental. This was very frustrating. Because of the the WIFI I will not use this location....

The location is closed most of the time, and when I went there when it claimed that it would be open, it was not. This is the time of the pandemic, so I understand there are accommodations to be made, but the handmade sign on the door said it would be open when it was not. A call to the store got someone who was not helpful. I was charged for not leaving the wrapping blankets in the truck upon the return, and a call and a visit to the store the following day have proved fruitless. I will keep trying.

The gentleman working behind the counter was nice but could have definitely used some help. He was the only guy working and could only take one customer at a time. I waited about 20 minutes before being served to.

Person want that helpful when I asked about the tolls that kinda just shrugged me off. Also the number listed on the contract want for the U-Haul it was for a storage company. Lucky the workers were nice enough to give me the right number. If you don't know something just say it don't shrug people off.

I was charged 25$ cleaninf fee to have debris and a large peice of wood removed frim the back. I have a picture before i started packing. When calling the location the man on shift said "it wasnt me"

'Mr. Jets" (I call him Mr. Jets because he had on a jet shirt. I never asked his name) was kind, friendly and and courteous. I would definitely recommend this location.
