Chantelle TI don't know about improving for the next customer, but I do know that U-Haul management could stop driving out the small locations by providing cash incentives for people to use the big locations instead. It seems like management is picking and choosing winners instead of letting each location be chosen on merit. Croney system? (We like you, so you get special treatment. We don't like you, so we are going to pay people to go somewhere else.)
NANCY HWe did not get a U-Haul dolly instead the owner loaned us hers. It was not industrial and not what we paid for to be honest. I rented out of Orleans which is where I live and got some reason was changed to Paoli which is another town. Our truck had a tire monitoring repair light on which the owner said just had not been reset. He he biggest issue is why we could not leave the truck in Knoxville where we traveled to. I don’t understand why we had to drive it back empty and pay mileage. I thought your company was nation wide? This doubled our cost!!
Gretchen WWe dropped off after hours. My app had me login, didn’t want any pictures. Just said to drop off the keys in the drop box, which was very difficult to find in the dark. We swept out the truck and filled it a little over than what we needed to with gas. STILL got charged $21 extra for something. Disappointed as times are hard and that extra $20 would have went towards diapers. It put my account in the negative

Teion TDrop off location was hilly and difficult to navigate with truck and trailer but owner said they are creating larger flat pad to improve parking.
Heinz KLets just say the couple at this location and the lady in Mitchell were both awesome. However, my overall company experience was about 5. I reserved at a location in Indianapolis that closed and was sent hours away. Where were the trucks from the original location? The phone CS reps were helpful but very disappointed with having to go hours out of my way for a quality truck.

Curt PMy experience with uhaul was very good overall. However trying to use the uhaul software or website for self check in when returning the trailer was a joke. The software listed my contract as having been cancelled and would not allow me to proceed. When I tried to call I was told there was a twenty minute wait for an agent and when I tried the live chat I simply got cut off after about ten minutes and lost the session before the checkin could be completed. The equipment I rented was in good to very good condition over all and the people were very easy to deal with, but uhaul.com needs to get their act together.

Richard SI give UHaul negative stars. Our originally scheduled location in Marengo did not have our reserved trailer when we arrived and said it had been double booked and already picked up by someone else and they had no other equipment available. They did not even know our reservation existed until we showed the email confirmation. We had even reserved and paid for it a week prior to pickup. We couldn’t find anything within an hour drive so we used alternate equipment from an alternate location, which the Marengo location did help facilitate. A uhaul rep on the phone said “well that’s uhaul for you, unlimited reservations with limited equipment”. The Paoli location was very helpful and accommodating but we did not get the size trailer we truly needed and had quite the hassle of getting anything at all thanks to uhaul’s system. Reservations don’t really mean a guarantee, even if you’ve already paid.
David UWe received courtesy call to ensure pick up plans and times. Thoroughly went over auto transport and driving strategies .
Michael GPick up was a dream. Store actually opened up early at our request so we could get loaded early to get on the road. Very great experience and this is the best U-Haul business I have used.
david WI had no idea that if I went over my "estimated mileage" that I would be charged extra. Also, the lady told me to let her know if I would be bringing the UHaul back after closing time, then there would be an extra $20 charge. When I got the bill it was an extra $47. I am a single mother and that charge was completely unexpected and NOT in my budget. I paid the extra, with little to no explanation as to why she quoted me only $20 extra...not a happy camper. Please tell customers about the extra charges and fees instead of letting it be a surprise.

Kirk BWhere normally rent an UHaul enclosed trailer was out of trailers and didn't call us back to tell us so. We began to look for other locations nearby which were closed at noon on Saturday. We called the Paoli store and they could not have been more helpful. Thanks again. We will be driving there in the future. Worth the few extra miles.
