The U-Haul app kept sending me notifications about my rental return even after the truck had been returned and the app confirmed that the rental was complete. This is not a knock on Big Oak Center Storage, which did everything right as far as I can tell... but the glitch was annoying.

Jerome PThe woman who works there was sick and fortunately a guy came in to cover for her. The location wasn't open when I went to pick up the trailer but the guy was a little late but was quick getting me out of there so I could get my motorcycle to my appointment on time and then make it to my other appointment while the motorcycle was being tended to. The whole day would have been a mess if that guy didn't show up to fill in and I really appreciate how he opened up and got me out quickly.

Ken Nthe Man was not helpful i had to call to get another truck my self at first he tried to give me a truck with the check engine lights on and a low tire i asked why would you have a rental truck listed that is not working properly and he just shock his shoulder and said he didn’t know ? and then when i called customer service the lady was extremely professional and got me in another truck i was thankful for her ! but this time i was given NO paperwork for the truck and it ran very ruff it also cost me $97 in gas ⛽️ there must be an issue with this truck also …. i feel i should not be charged for either of theres defective trucks ! im very unhappy and this is very poor service

Richard MThe location itself was ok, and the people running it were great, but having to drive nearly 80 miles to rent a truck was disheartening. Not to mention the roads into and out of the location are quite difficult to navigate with a 26 foot truck.

Cory FThis is a complaint against UHaul scheduling and not Big Oak Center Storage. When I reserve equipment, I expect it to be reserved. Too many times UHaul has called me to say my equipment is not available and look to find it in a different location. In this case, I reserved it in Cotati, CA and had to drive about 45 minutes out of my way to pick up the equipment in Clearlake Oaks, CA. This is annoying and a bad business model.

MATTHEW LThis dealer had no tow dolly and gave me the option to pick up a dolly anywhere on my way to the destination where I needed it. For the price of a local return of around $ 40.00. I would have what I needed and My local dealer has equipment to rent to the next customer. This was the understanding. My Dealer here in CLO made the arrangement where I could pick up my Dolly needed.
PETER SThe location was not the original location I reserved the Uhaul at. It was over an hour from my original location. I was very upset at the amount of time it took a d the number of calls made to get some sort of compensation for being made to drive further than originally planned. I was extremely disappointed and will not be using Uhaul in the future. The gentleman at this location in Clearlake Oaks was very understanding of my frustration and went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated.
Sarah LThe only issue I had was that the employee stressed on the importance of having the truck back by 9:30 am the following day because it was reserved for another customer. I was there at 9:30 am and so was the individual that reserved the truck, however the door was locked with a note on the door stating they were in the hallway in row o. There was no row o. Myself and two other customers looked every where and couldnt find not one person who worked there anywhere. The other customer ended up leaving and I ended up dropping truck keys in the box. She knew at least 2 people were scheduled to be there at 9:30 am in which she should've been present. Bad for business and very unprofessional
