First I tried to pick up a reserved truck and trailer at 811 Hwy 441 N Red Bldg, Clayton, GA 30525. The Big Shoals store was professionial and timely. The clayton dealer was a mess. No one was there, after 2 phone calls with the number on the attendents door and 40 minutes, surprise, she was there. She wanted me to take the auto hauler trailer off the truck I was suppose to rent. I spent more than an hour trying to get this rental. I ended up calling Uhaul customer service and they helped me secure the truck at Big Shoals. The woman at Clayton was not helpful at all. She would not honor the contract I already had and tried to charge me over 3x more than my contract. I think she was mentally handicapped. The 15 foot truck we rented was in good shape for its age. I was very surprised to see so many stickers all over the exterior which were marking very small blemishes, which are normal wear and tear. Perhaps renters are afraid of being charged for extremely minor damage, or UHaul has developed an attitude of using normal wear and tear as a revenue stream. Very surprising change since our last rental.
Phillip SI can't think of a way to improve this location. The attendants were friendly and checked me in quickly. They offered suggestions about where to park the trailer and how to drive to the spot on their lot that made the drop off very easy.

JAIME PThe car dolly had NO TAG on it. U-Haul did request me to confirm the tag. I was already gone when I noticed the message. However I got pulled over and it caused an issue with the police officer. Other than that the experience was excellent.
