They explained the rental process so I could understand. The dispatch center was not able to do that.
Diann FOriginally booked in Great Falls but was promptly called and offered an alternate solution to pick up in Helena at no extra cost. Trinna at Big Sky Cabinet was very friendly and accommodating.
Erica CFuel was only half full
Matthew BWas just dropping off but the person who helped me was very friendly, nice and knew what she was doing.
trina dEasy drop off but probably not the best space to drop off a 26 foot truck with car hauler. Limited space.
Jason PGood experience.
Jerry WThis location called me on Monday 6/19/23 to remind me of my return that day. I replied, stating the rental was not due back until 6/22/23. Was told this was ok. Returned the rental 2 days early on 6/20/2023. I was charge 700 + dollars on an already 2000.00+ rental. Something is really wrong. Now I have to track down the error and try to get it fixed. More stress to an already stressful move. The attendant in Fort Collins was great so I will start with her. What a hassle.
Kathleen WOdd drop off spot which was fine but no one was there to direct where to leave the vehicle. Hesitant about just leaving the vehicle in the middle of a parking lot.
Brande MSmall parking lot for a big truck. Trina at the drop off made it super simple and was great.
Karen TI would highly recommend. Very friendly.
Trinna SWe had made a reservation on January 20, 2023 at the Cedar location and they “lost” our reservation. They sent us to Big Sky Cabinetry. We got there and when she told me the price it was over a $100 more than we were quoted when we made our reservation. The lady just ignored me and went about what she was doing when I expressed my concern. Didn’t tell me how many days we had it for. We were told we’d have it for 5 days when we made our reservation at the Cedar location in Helena. This experience wasn’t the best and I’m not very happy. The lady was even a little rude when I declined the “extra” insurance. I would have probably put it on there, if I hadn’t been charged an extra $100 for the rental.
Lanora wDrop off was quick and easy.
Lance WFriendly - helpful and quick service
Joe PPut your sign out closer to the road.
pat sthey are very nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend.
kendall sU-Haul is awful at booking actual reservations. I rented a 26 foot truck two weeks before I needed to leave, and the day before they called me and canceled. The Anaconda location was able to help us find a truck to make our move possible, so I’m very happy with them. But with the company as a whole I will try my hardest to always stay away. I planned my entire move around having that truck, and not having it really really screwed us. We are now having to drive another 1000 miles to pick up the rest of our stuff, and then drive it another 1000 miles back all because the truck I reserved was not actually reserved. This screw up will end up costing me $1000s more in move fees that we didn’t need to have if Uhaul just did their jobs correctly.
Matthew SThey are very friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend.
trinna sThe location was not open during the stated business hours. We did get a response on how to drop off the vehicle without help but no one was available. We had left something in the truck in error & then it took a day to get our item. I would not have used this drop off location if I had known this in advance.
David HCramped location. Helpful people.
David LThe location nearly looked like an episode of the hoarders and the truck was EXTREMELY loud. The representative even acknowledged it. They said they inspected the truck but could not figure out why it was so loud. We had to drive 120 miles without conversation. It was so loud we could not hear my phone ring.
Myrtle MVery accommodating!
CATHY BMy original reservation was made at a different location. They did not have the trailer I needed. There was no communication to this effect and it resulted in losing 2 hours of time since the other location that did have the trailer didn't open until 9am. I was already looking at a 12 hour drive and this issue set me back. Everytime I rent from uhaul there is an issue like this.
Kevin MEverything was great upon arrival these folks were really nice & professional......Then @ my destination I had to find an alternative drop-off, then it got worse, I went to drop it off...Had to spend way more on gas than I should've & was met with an extremely rude employee & I still haven't seen my 25$ refund...?
JASON GBad experience. Picked up the trailer the night before; checked the lights in the morning and they were out. Took it back to the place that I picked it up -- they tried to convince me that the lights were fine and not a big deal that the tail lights were out. Horribly unsafe -- can't imagine the liability on that one. Thankfully, my sister was there in the back of the trailer, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to tell -- I was in the drivers seat, so couldn't see. The original trailer that they gave me was in bad shape generally -- it was clear that they just wanted to get rid of it -- and I was going one-way cross country. Ended up having to unload everything from the original trailer to a new trailer -- in the pouring rain. Everything got wet. U-haul guy did not apologize or offer to help or point us to a covered area to unload. Lost half a day. They also tried to charge me an extra day. Called the uhaul center to complain, they said they have no control over the neighborhood uhauls, and so aren't responsible. Neighborhood uhaul just said they have no control over the system. No one was acting like an adult. So stressful. Will not do again.
samantha rThis location was a little confusing. Someone needs to put a sign up on where to actually go to do business. There is a house when you first pull in and a stone business in the back. Apparently you go to the stone business to do UHaul business.
JASON BDropped off before they were open
JOHNNY KGreat customer service. They were both very nice. We will rent from them again
STEVEN PGet rid of the 800 number and talk to the pickup location directly
Wayne RThe couple that ran this branch were amazing, personable and super helpful!!!!! When I need to get my things out of storage I will definitely return to them to meet my needs!!
Brigitte Cstaff is friendly and goes out of their way to help. UHaul corporation insists that you use the company app. It does not work on my phone and does not address concerns and issues. Wait time on the 1-800 phone number was over 20 minutes
Dennis BReally great! Pickup and return was so easy and the owners were very nice.
Connie RReally good people....great communication and a more convenient location than almost anywhere in town.
Jeremy SThey were very friendly and accommodating. The main U-Haul center did not load the truck with all the ordered furniture pads before delivering it to our pick-up location. So the people from Big Sky Cabinets went to retrieve them and delivered them to our home.
Debra BThey were tremendous and very very very helpful
Melissa NVery friendly and courteous! The couple that runs this location were eager to help and make sure I knew everything about my options and what I rented. Thank you so much!
brianna tGreat people
MARK HThis location has limited hours of operation and is not open on Sundays. U-Haul insisted they were open on Sundays. If we hadn't rescheduled for a day earlier, we would have been out of luck as we needed to be out by Monday morning's closing of selling our property.
Melissa LTrinna and Corey were very nice to work with during our move and made sure we had everything we needed without having to make multiple trips for more supplies.
richard oVery friendly and helpful folks. Went above and beyond to locate equipment under some time pressure. Highly recommend.
Brand BLocation was a little tricky because the sign is low and blocked from view on road. Agent did contact us with details so we found it okay. They had the drop box, so anytime was convenient
Forrest WHave the equipment in the location where it suppose to be when it's suppose to be there.
Jeremy TCreate every U-Haul dealer/ location in your data base so that the nearest dealer to your destination is recognized. When I initially contacted U-Haul about our return location the only two that was recognized where three hours to the east and 4 hours to the west. There was a local dealer at our destination and they had to order the truck and car trailer so it could be returned to them and not 3 to 4 hours away.
STewert NHave no problem with this dealer except truck fuel tank was not full. However the entire u-haul experience sucked. The reservation site gave me a wrong address where truck was to be picked up,after being assured the size truck I needed was available, I was called the next day and was told that I would have to take a larger truck, bigger truck equals poorer gas mileage. The truck itself would not shift properly adding to poor gas mileage, I calculated gas mileage to be 9 miles to the gallon because of this. Two days after I returned truck(which was the same day I rented it)I received a call from a u-haul dealer asking me when I planned on returning the truck,I informed this dealer that I had returned the truck to the renting dealer as this is what I was told to do by the renting dealer,he said he would check and see why he was told that I would be returning truck to him by reservation desk. I did the advanced check in and paid with a different credit card than the one I reserved truck with. My invoice shows they used the credit card I reserved truck with as payment source, the reservation clerk had assured me that this credit card was only used to hold reservation and would not be charged. All in all this was a very frustrating experience. Poor communication between reservation desk and dealers, poorly maintained equipment, and having to estimate how much gas to put in truck to avoid a very inflated fuel charge made this an experience that I would not recommend any one else use this company for a move.
david pthank you for your outstanding customer service
John Kdropped the keys in a box and called it good. I can only hope that there aren't any extra charges I'm not aware of when I dropped it off.
RITA CPeople were VERY nice but not a Uhaul store- it is a cabinet shop that also rents/receives Uhauls. I would not recommend it (to rent a vehicle) over the main Uhaul store in town that has all manner of supplies and a selection of vehicles.
Ira LBig Sky Cabinet is a life saver.
Jeremy JThe trailer did not have a license plate. The driver/renter is legally responsible for the condition of the vehicle while operating it on the highway. I accepted the trailer and hoped that I would not be stopped. While on the highway, I was directed to stop at a truck weigh scale. The inspector did not notice the missing license plate.
