key was difficult to remove from lock box due to its large accessory and poor placement. other than that it was a very good and easy experience!

I called th CS to see where I could drop the trailer. The drop locations were out of my way and required me to change my plans. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience but the lady on the other end said she wasn't allowed to do that. You see the issue I had wasn't with the individual dealers. It was with the corporate side of the business. I won't be recommending haul to my friends and family.

In addition, the center consol cup holder had been taped closed to hold it in place. When opened, it revealed it was broken and would not stay attached.

LORRAINE FWhen the customer places a reservation at a location have a truck at that location not 135 miles away. You could have taken the truck to the reserved location. Where I picked up the truck was great only it wa 135 plus miles away from where I reserved it. Moving is stressful and having to drive that gar to pick up a truck only added to the stress.
Drew AThe location was crowded and poorly lit. Trying to park the vehicle as required in the same location and direction as I picked it up was both difficult and dangerous to the vehicle and those near where it was supposed to go. The key drop box was in an obscure location and not lit nor pointed out to me, so when I arrived back with the rental truck at night, I could not find it. After trying quite a while to find it in the dark and to get someone to respond to me and tell me where to put the key, the only way I could think to secure the vehicle was to lock the key inside. I assumed that they would have another key. Now I am being charged for them to get a locksmith. I suppose this seems reasonable to someone, but not to me. Also, I was not informed that the internet was not good at the location, so I spent a fair amount of time trying, under threat of additional fees, to download pictures of the gauges and never was sure whether they went through or not. The billing for the time I had the truck was overcharged and I had to notice that and require adjustment. None of this seems customer friendly, nor sensible. None-the-less, I am being required to pay for what seem like shortcomings in the operation after trying quite hard to meet the requirements. It seems the business should fix their shortcomings at their own expense, not mine. I don’t appreciate the tone in which I was told that no one else has had a problem, which is an unsupportable claim, but irrelevant anyway. Nor was being informed about what is and is not the employee’s job until I became unsure exactly what is the employee’s job. I would think it is to make sure that pertinent information such as the special internet instructions to meet U-Haul requirements in order for the customer to easily avoid additional fees when dropping off the truck. Including a map to show exactly the odd placement of the key drop box and maybe even see to it that there is a light on it. Even just a moment when the truck is being picked up to point out the drop box was in order. Making sure the billing is not an overcharge would seem to be in the job description. All around, what was a very intensive day of hard labor was made far more difficult.
Marjahna MNot offer at a location and as soon as we sign up move to a different location which effectively double our mileage. We selected the one closest to us and then to have it changed was misleading. Another vendor could have been cheaper due to the increase in price due to the extended mileage

Robin NAlthough I arrived just before closing, she took the time to help me unhook the trailer. She was very friendly and accommodating and made the experience very pleasant.

I had trouble with the mobile check-in process, but the owner happened to call me in the middle of it just to make sure everything was going ok, and she was able to quickly resolve my issue. I would definitely use their location again.
