Young kid told me to leave trailer over there. Didn't walk over there with me. Also told me I'd receive an email. Next day still nothing. Called and a older gentleman finally checked it in for me. If I hadn't called them they would never knew I brought it back

Had to put trailer on car myself. Got charge for dolly which I did not need or get. Guy that service me had no clue.
Edward GIlluminate the key drop box and/or add signage on the building directing customers how to locate it after hours. The gentleman that helped me during pick up was friendly and informative.
JAIME KI drive a truck/trailer every day for work, so I know how to drive a truck/trailer. The first thing was the trailer was parked in a location between two box trucks, which is not a problem but to hook up, I had to angle my truck because there was a concrete curb planter in the way of me pulling straight out. I could not pull out at that angle so I had to run over the curb to get the trailer out without hitting the box trucks on either side. Not good planning. I noticed that a small trailer (like 5') was in a pull through parking space. That's where this 12' trailer should have been parked. Also, when I picked up the trailer, the attendant guided me back so my hitch was properly placed (which was very nice even though I could have done that myself using my back up cameras). He then hooked up the hitch to the trailer. I double checked that the lines were crossed and the trailer brakes were connected. I made sure the lights were working (with his assistance). The thing I did not double-check was the ball hitch connection (as I assumed since he worked in this department he would know how to hook up a trailer to a ball hitch). Well, you know what they say about assuming. Driving down the road, the damn thing fell off! Put a dent in my nice bumper, nearly scared the sh*t out of me and the other drivers near me. Come to find out, the trailer did not even fit on that size ball. In the middle of the road, I had to switch balls and re-attach the trailer. Now I've got a big dent in my nice bumper! I am not happy.

CHARLES BI am extremely disappointed overall. My experience was great when I came to get the van. I clearly explained to them I would like to return the van to any U-Haul location, and I was told yes that's possible. Upon returning the Van I met with the worst experience of my life. I went to the location at Buckley Aurora. The staff was very unhelpful and rude. He would not take the Van from me and was not going to render any help. He said I need to return to where I got it from. I was given so much run around that I almost missed my flight. I called the corporate line and was met with the worst disappointment where I was spoken to like I took the Van for free. She told me I could either return it to where I got it from, or I pay additional $200 plus extra $1.90 per mile. It's such a shame over a misinformation by the employee. I requested before I took the van and now, I am stranded. I had to pay someone to help return the Van. This is not my first time of getting a U-Haul but this is by far the worst experience. My next time, I will be recording my conversation with the employee when getting it. This is such a sad experience for me. Treated like a nobody.

DOUGLAS A$0.99 per mile is crazy expensive. The key didn't really work to start the truck, and it was well known among the rental agents, yet they gave it to me anyway. They were super friendly and offered great service other than giving me a truck with a known issue.

JOSE MThe trailer I had reserved was not returned on time by the previous renter (and would not be returned for several hours), so I had to take a larger trailer. Due to the larger trailer having a much larger empty weight, I was unable to take the load I was picking up in a single trip as this would have caused me to exceed my maximum towing capacity of my vehicle. The trip was 150 mile round trip through a busy metropolitan area and ended up taking nearly 6 hours to complete one trip; because of this, I had to rent a trailer the following morning to make a second trip to pick up the remaining load. Here is the result of the trailer that I had reserved not being available: 1) I was put significantly behind schedule on my fencing project; 2) it cost me significantly more money in rental and fuel costs; 3) the help I had coordinated to be available Saturday morning was lost due to my having to make a second trip; 4) extra wear and tear on my vehicle. The location's employees tried their best to remedy the situation, so I can't be too harsh on them for that, but they did rent out the trailer at the end of the day (5 pm) when it was reserved for an 9 am pick up the next morning. I'm not sure if this is a U-Haul issue or a location issue, however, based off of another unpleasant experience I have had with U-Haul I would say U-Haul.

LOKESH TThe front vents did not work when the AC was on in the van and it was a very warm day. It only blows down to the feet or through the defroster. Usually an easy fix and would make the experience 5 stars instead of 4

Kevin Sall went well once I got the truck....The only thing was I reserved a 15 ft truck a good week in advance....when I got there to pick it up, they didn't have one...... It ended up costing me 125.00 more because I had to pay my helpers an extra hour because it took forever to try and fit everything in a 10 ft truck....ended up with stuff in my car and in there truck....They told me I could go 25 miles up to Aurora to get a bigger truck, and they charge by the mile....That part was not acceptable......once it was over and the truck was returned I was happy... The truck I got was clean and ran well...Came with some moving blankets....

DANIEL BThe location was fine, the trailer however, was absolute garbage. It was old, damaged and did not maje the trip to completion. My wife and I sat on the side of the highway before we finally got a replacement trailer to finish our move. Uhaul however did pay me $100 for transferring our stuff from the broke trailer to the other trailer. That to me doesn't make up.for the damaged property and 8+ hour wait.

MARK HFor the third time in a row, the key in the lock box was anaccessable - the store employees coudnt even open it. I had to be given another truck which was very stressful as I was not sure they were going to give it to me.I wont be renting here again unless they get the lock boxes fixed.

CHRISTINE CThe person handling the transaction was not knowledgeable on how to process the rental. The equipment was horrible. The latch holding the lock only had 1 of the 4 bolts holding it on the trailer.
DARIEN PNot for U-Haul rental I will not you guys are liars and cheaters. I did not request the $30 insurance fee but yet you put it on my bill and the only way I could read my bill. I had to get a magnifying glass cause it was so small and your app will not let you print the receipt. You guys are crooks.

Lynn HVehicle was not full of fuel when we picked it up. We had rented some moving blankets and they were not in the vehicle. Found some blankets laying on the ground by another vehicle so we used them. THey were very dirty.

AUDREY W1) Uhaul canceled my reservation 50 muns after I was supposed to pick my truck up. 2) The truck smelled like a goat farm. No way to tell you that your truck wasn't clean enough to give to someone else because your smart app wants to charge ME a cleaning fee for the nasty smelling state we got the truck in. Seriously....smell of animal pee and poo the entire drive back and forth to Colorado Springs. 3) Preexisting damage to truck should be exposed to driver. AFTER I checked in on the app and started driving away, I noticed a safety issue with the drivers side mirror cracked. I stopped to show the attendant on my way out. On my way back in, the attendant stated "ya we've gotten that reported before". It's a safety issue, especially for folks whose never dri em a truck this size. Very unsatisfied with this rental.

STANLEY BLocation was fine. But U-Haul changed the trailer size on me twice. I ended up with a much larger trailer than I reserved or wanted/needed. The trailer I got was also pretty beat up and I found along the way the brakes didn’t work.
