The service rep did not make any mention of the "safe haul" insurance option and apparently I accepted it without knowing about it. I only discovered it when my invoice at return was $8 higher than expected :(

The best experience I have had with uhaul. In the past we have used a competitor's trucks because of getting trucks that were in rough condition and less than quality service. Because of our excellent experience with the Big Tool Box/Ace we will be using this location going forward! Thank you!!

The truck was horrible. The cab was way too small, as a 6'5" person I did not fit. I could not see from the non adjustable side mirrors, and my knees dug in to the plastic dashboard. There was also no ramp, a first I've seen in a rental truck like this. I will not be using uhaul again. Horrible experience.

When we arrived to get our truck, which we reserved well in advance, we were told the truck we rented was out for repair. We were offered a smaller truck, which wasn't large enough for our load, with no advance warning that the truck we rented was not available. We ended up taking the smaller truck, and using private vehicles for several trips to get our entire load delivered. The gentleman who helped us was very apologetic, but had no solution for our problem. You said the truck we reserved would be there, and no one called to say it wouldn't be there. Don't we reserve a truck in advance so that we know we will get what we need? You made our moving experience much harder than it should have been. It's your responsibility to make sure the truck is there, or find a replacement for us before we come to pick it up. At the very least, you should have called to let us know our rental would not be available, so we would have had an opportunity to find another truck. Very sloppy management - you obviously don't care if you provide what you promise. Very disappointing experience doing business with you!

Showed up and my uhaul i ordered was not available. I ordered a larger size and was promised it would be available with your guarantee. Unfortunately someone drilled a hole in the gas tanks so my uhaul and any other larger sizes were unavailable. I had to wait over an hour and my plans got messed up. So i had to drive farther to meet the person i was picking up items from which costs me more in mileage as well. It was very upsetting. A coupon or discount would have been greatly appreciated for inconveniences.

Make sure that U-Haul let's their franchise's can print a receipt of total costs at end of rental. I'm a senior and don't have access to a computer or a printer. I like to keep track of my expenses and can't do so without a paper copy.

The trailer I reserved wasn't there. They gave me a more expensive trailer for the more expensive price. I was there for 45 minutes to pick up the trailer and when I returned my charge was double what it was supposed to be.

From the very beginning of trying to rent a truck. Not one person was sure how to. I was over charged and from May to August 22 I'm still getting charged because your records are not up to date. I'm disputing the charges and have called Tool Box hopefully they can figure it out.

If there were further training. The quote I was given was $25 lower than the actual cost. The person who took the quote didn't actually give me a reservation. The actual reservation took 40 minutes to complete because the manager was running into computer issues. I had to call the area manager to get it resolved. No problem solving skills used at all. Then they charged $9 for the insurance when I explicitly said no to it. When I returned it, I let him know, he didn't know how to do a refund. Hasn't reached back out to let me know.

Mirror was broken, location should have had it fixed before renting it out. I mentioned this when returning the unit and he said, oh yeah, we know about that. Will go back to using the S Gilbert location in Castle Rock from now on.

Maybe don't change our reservation 3 times in a span of 2 days, from changing locations to down sizing our truck this has been a horrible experience with uhaul, it made our move extremely rough and its not the first time it's happened. Not to mention most of the people we dealt with on the phone were not helpful and had an attitude as well. Uhaul has lost our business unfortunately.

You need to design a better chain system as without twisting the chains up I was unable to keep them from dragging which creates sparks and causes numerous wildfires. The trailer was also abnormally back heavy when empty making it fishtail and lift up on the tongue. You should have tongue jacks on this size of trailer as well as wheel chocks provided.

Scheduled online. No truck when I got there. Waited 2 hours to get truck. After about a hour and a half I asked for the $50 guarantee for bot having truck so I could go somewhere else. Was told they'd check on it and instead canceled my reservation. Finally got truck, had to redo the entire process which took them about 3x as long as it took me online. Asked for 24hours, they scheduled me for 4 and had them calling me wanting the truck. Had the truck for 23hrs. Was charged for a 2nd day. Asked for safe move. He added safemove plus costing me double. Every person that "helped" me messed something up. Never ever use this location

The back end of the truck was not clean, it had debris in the back end which had to be removed before we could use it. Also, I reserved an appliance dolly with the truck rental reservation and when I arrived they did not have any to rent. They rented me one of their own ACE Hardware appliance dollies at a higher price.

Came in to do after hours drop off, but there was a guy still there, so they opened up for me. I didn't ask for that, but they did it anyway as above and beyond customer service. Very kind of the staff there. I recommend them!
