the location was great but the fact we originally rented / reserved in Penticton and organized our entire trip around this location was another issue. I was very unimpressed to be called the day before and told we needed to go 3hrs out of our way to pick up the trailer. I'm so unimpressed that I'd appreciate a call back from U Haul head office to discuss further.

PAUL GNothing to do. UHaul has a great reservation system, but you still need people to run it. The Chase BC store is a small one but very well run. I would not hesitate to refer someone to this location where Brian and his sister do a great job. BYW, the UHaul car hauler trailer is a great piece of equipment. Super easy to use Good going.

laurie ethis location is wonderful. Helpful, quick, very accommodating, extremely friendly and professional. I've rented from a few locations but this location is by far the best. Some franchises seem secondary to whatever main business they are attached to, but this one makes UHAUL a priority.

Colin BYour staff were very helpful and circumstances were beyond their control. We reserved the truck and 1/2 way from Hanna AB to Kamloops BC we were informed it failed mechanical inspection but they found us one in Cashe Creek, BC. So we drove to Cashe Creek got a motel for the night and vandals had tried to break into the truck and hot wire it. Now it is part of a crime scene so we drove back to Kamloops with no truck. Kamloops found us a smaller truck in Chase BC. So we drove to Chase and picked up the truck. Very inconvenient as a customer and out 2 tanks of gas and a motel (I use this term loosely) with no compensation for our time or expenses we incurred. Also the reason for this trip was our mom had passed in Dec 2023 we were picking up the possessions she wanted us to have. So as you can imagine we were also under overwhelming grief. In future it would be helpful for larger locations like Kamloops to have several trucks in inventory. Also in cashe creek the truck that was reserved for us, another uhaul dealer tried to rent it to 2 other people. This does not inspire me to trust the next time they will have a truck for us if we reserve and anyone can try to rent it out to other people before we can pick it up. Thought only airlines over booked, U haul should not, the arrangements made to make a move with trucks have a lot of people and time at stake and should not be taken for granted by uhaul.

Amanda was an absolute ANGEL of a human 💖 we asked her so many questions, came back like 3 different times to ask MORE questions and she was patient and friendly and very informed with every response. I could not reccomend this location enough 💖💖💖 if I ever have to move again, I sincerely hope I get to book with Amanda. She was the best bright spot during my nightmare of a move. She deserves a raise. Seriously.

Tina GAcknowledgement that the trailer was received would have been nice. I don’t think that this was up to the drop of place to do. U haul Canada should have acknowledged that. Plus I didn’t like getting texts to return it on Saturday when my rental was till Sunday.
