Jeff FI signed up for mobile pickup 7am.When I tried to sign in for said pickup The app told me there was “an equipment issue and to call service number to be told the location had not set me up for mobile pickup(absolutely no communication before this)They opened at 8.I had movers arrive at 730 for which the was paying hourly.The gentleman behind the counter took a picture of my app then proceeded to tell me to wait his manager would verify.When I questioned why I was waiting and figured out his manager was not on site.Upon returning the truck I was told,in very unclear English that I had to take a picture of the truck for him.I called customer service immediately upon leaving truck and told my concerns.I received a text at 4pm today to begin my return !🙄 Itcwas a horrendous experience and a horrible representation of your business.

LUKE CYou’ll charged me way too much. All because I didn’t say I’m gonna have the rental for 6 hrs. I was charged double contract because I was off my timeline for a couple hours so you’ll charge me for basically another day(contract). Scam!! I will be reporting to BB. So I was charged for two days of insurance too. $30. I will never rent from U-Haul if this is not fixed and I will make sure my friend and family do the same

Deborah CI wrote to you about this and haven't heard back. I was charged for additional gas which I should not have been and consider this theft. I have receipt for added gas (2 gallons) and only drove a total of 19 miles so this is well above what I used. The clerk was standing there when I put gas it=n it. and then they charged for another 3 gallons???!!! I want to be reimbursed and you should consider taking away the rental uses of Uhaul at this location. If you look at my history, I rent often. This location was sub par. Didn't even have the truck I had reserved and had to change to a smaller one without a ramp which was an issue.

Lakesha RI picked up the truck in the morning and brought it back in the evening. I was charged for 3 days!!! Very unhappy. Not only that, I rented a truck at the same location on August 25 for one day and got charged for 2. They are a very unorganized placed to rent a truck and very dishonest. I will be calling UHaul to dispute these charges once I figure out how to do that.
Janice PThe gentleman was very nice, the truck had a hole in the roof and it rained. All the contents were wet. UHAUL changed my reservation without notice, moved my pick up location. I ended up with an small truck, and I only got that because of the nice gentleman at the store. UHAUL had me hold for about 20 minutes only to tell me they could not help me. TERRIBLE SERVICE FROIM UHAUL. The Shell Station is perfectly fine.

Joshua CI could not get the app to recognize my Virginia driver's license, so I went into the station and the clerk helped me very quickly. Return was also easy and in person.
Brian NI arrived to pick up a truck that I had reserved 9 days prior only to be told that despite having a record of the reservation that they did not have a truck for me. They told me that they put in a request with U-haul to have someone contact me on where I could pick up a truck that I needed and was never contacted by anyone. I called U-hauls customer service multiple times and was never able to get through to a single person. I was thankfully able to find a truck on my own but this entire experience was beyond poor. Bad customer service at all levels of this
Brendan HHave a truck ready that I reserved. I reserved a 10 foot truck. When I arrived at the location they did not have my truck ready. They made me make another reservation and I was charged for a larger truck,. I was fucking ripped off by U-Haul and that location. You can go fuck yourselves before I rent from U-Haul and at that location again.

MITCHELL BThe location is in a convenience store at a gas station. The area is dangerous and not desirable. The clerks who assisted me with check in and check out were very nice. The uhaul itself was absolutely junk. The exhaust leaks so bad that it sounded like a nascar and lingered in the cabin.

Scott RA better explanation of your billing. An agent that can speak clear English. I never received any paperwork. I was not informed how much I was going to be charged when leaving after dropping off the truck. The truck was on empty when I got there. I received no explanation of why I wasn't receiving any bills other than I could see it on the app. I don't have the app, I don't want the app, and I should not have to depend on an app just to find out how much I'm getting billed and how much you're charging me on my card. For these reasons I left the building cussing and I was not happy. I looked at my bill online and it looked as if I was being overcharged 30 miles. I then had to call U-Haul to get an agent and have him explain to me this was not the case and I was receiving a refund. Why do I have to go through all of that just to find out how much you're charging me for renting your equipment? Did this sound like a good experience

Logan W1. Truck battery died 4 times 2. Bad with customer service and also couldn’t help me with anything they over changed me 69.23 plus 29 dollars and didn’t even use the uhual . 3. Smelled like gas and couldn’t even drive it I WANT MY MONEY BACK !

Angela W1. Requested equipment (2 hand trucks, 1 dozen moving blankets) were not available at time of pick up. Not informed of this prior to our pick up. 2. Interior of truck was dirty, broken glass on dash, trash on floorboard, used disposable coffee cup not thrown away all from previous driver of truck. 2. Alignment was off on truck. 3. Emergency brake would randomly engage while driving truck.
Brenda RI do not think the locations have anything to do with what vehicles they have available. That said, the truck felt very loose on the road empty and sounded 'forced' under the hood while I drove it. We didn't end up using it because of the fear it would leave us stranded on the road. After about an hour I returned the truck to the vendor, and got charged near $70 for nothing. No, I would not recommend this location to a friend, not even to an enemy.

Sade WThe back of the truck was not only filthy and wasn’t being swept or cleaned out by the previous renters as evidenced by the pieces of particle board fri other and other debris along with greasy foot prints track through the back of the truck but there was also trash form a homeless person that had been living in the back in the parking lot in there trash they even left a bag of steamed crab legs back there!!! Needless to say I was in for quite a surprise when I opened the back door of truck then lost an hour of moving time have to clean the truck out. Absolutely disgusting!!! I informed the persons on behind the counter and that they should start locking up the trucks but they didn’t seem to care about any of it nor could they even hold a conversation as they spoke almost no English. Birdneck shell should be stripped of their right to rent uhauls immediately they leave renters with a terrible impression of your company and trucks. I’ve rented probably a dozen trucks from u haul over the years for both work and personal use and this was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had by far!!!!!
William HDrop off location was out of gas and did not post such so everyone was trying to get gas. Location is not safe and will not use again. U-Haul was dirty inside and had a terrible odor. Smelled like body odor like a homeless person lived in the van. U-Haul app does not work well. Had to logout and back in several times and it is cumbersome.

Daniel Ncheck in very convenient, however, our son was going to pay for the uhaul but the rental was already finalized on parents account. the attendant said there was no way to change payment.
Don LI reserved a 15' truck as indicated on the contract but the dealer substituted a 10' truck and when I complained he said that I had to take the issue up with UHaul. I used the 10' truck but paid the daily price of $29.95 for a 15' truck. In addition I used 46 local miles and upon return put 3.5 gallons in which should cover any gas used (at less than 15 mpg). The dealer proceeded to charge me for an additional 4 gallons totaling $20.90. That is wrong.

Terrance BThe van reeked of cigarette smoke. The gentleman was nice though barely knew what he was doing, so the processing was long and he had to wait on customers, which is his job, so again the wait was long. He was polite and nice, though unsure.
MARIE SThe lock on the lock box need to be replaced. The truck was very dirty. I asked for a hand truck and didn't find out til I arrived that he didn't have one. Truck was on 1/4 tank, had a tire at 35psi and one of the tires leaking EXCESSIVE brake fluid. He said he looked the truck over....impossible!!!

Keith HYour system sucks. The pickup location needs to be removed from your system as cell data service was marginal and the location would not allow Wi-Fi useage Absurd system. I will use Enterprise for future needs
