Overall the trailer was well maintained and clean. The only issue was the ratchet strap mechanism was hard to impossible to use . I don't know if it was damage or merely rust. I informed the location and they said they would address the maintenance issue. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the folks at this location. This was my 2nd rental from them and I will use them again when the need arises.

JOHN BFirst trailer I got had a bad/damaged tire. I noticed it before I left town and returned it. They tried to tell me it was normal for the tire to bounce. The belts were separated and the tire was out of round. They had two other trailers available but one of those had a damaged tire as well. I paid for a 5x8 but got a 4x8. Still haven’t received my refund on the difference.
TOBY SThe staff here are rude. We were on our way to return the truck and got a call from them and the individual was so rude and hostile to us. They have free roaming chickens at the site and the person who came out to “greet” us was scowling the whole time and rudely grabbed the keys from us.

Donald JA loaded firearms was found in the console, meaning they did not inspect the vehicle, and I was driving the vehicle with an unauthorized weapon that I don’t have a license for. The vehicle had a ABS and Check engine light on as well as a fuel cap issue.

James WTruck was report full but was at 7/8 , Because of that I got charged 9 additional dollars for fuel when we returned with exactly with tha same fuel level location was hard to get in and out of and I was given a truck with bad front end that almost caused 2 accidents never U-Haul again

Wayne KI’ve had terrible experiences at every other uhaul location in lufkin. Except for this one. Service was super quick, employee was friendly and helpful. I usually struggle unhooking and hooking up the trailer due to the weight of the tongue and lack of jack. The staff at this location handled all that. They have an official uhaul jack! Excellent service. Will only be dealing with this location.

This was my first time driving a truck like that and the car behind. When I pulled up to take the car off. They never got impatient with me. I was so stressed by the time I got there. The kindness and compassion they showed really calmed me down.

Paul BThe van was old and was clean enough- but wasn't "clean". The vehicle served its purpose for a day and a half of basically local driving. If I had to have taken it long distance- I would've been very upset. The vehicle was not fun to drive- steering wheel/wheel connection was not good. The location is difficult to find- signage not great- the people there are very friendly.

Alvin PReservations need to be kept on UHAIL’s end. My reservation was not, and it made my move more difficult, expensive and frustrating. The dolly i reserved was not in the truck to use that day either. The whole experience was very bad.
