The van was old and was clean enough- but wasn't "clean". The vehicle served its purpose for a day and a half of basically local driving. If I had to have taken it long distance- I would've been very upset. The vehicle was not fun to drive- steering wheel/wheel connection was not good. The location is difficult to find- signage not great- the people there are very friendly.Julie B.

Reservations need to be kept on UHAIL's end. My reservation was not, and it made my move more difficult, expensive and frustrating. The dolly i reserved was not in the truck to use that day either. The whole experience was very bad.Mary M.

I'm being charged nearly three times what I originally agreed upon. Your company provided us with NONDRIVABLE TRUCKS, not just once but twice. Set us back on moving over a week! Our helpers had to go back home and it left my husband and kids to move everything on our own. The dates were being charged for are not even correct at we didn't get our truck until August 31st and then dropped it back off on September 11th. We were told that we would be compensated for several extra days for the inconvenience of everything, now we're being told the compensation will only cover the days the truck was out of use and not even all of those days, which we have no control over. That is not acceptable! Uhaul has not delivered on its promise by providing not just one bad truck but two then providing horrible customer service along with lying to us from beginning to end. Im considering contacting my lawyer if this isn't resolved.FAWN Z.

We had an issue when we made the reservation, what we agreed to over the phone was not what we got when we showed up to the pick-up location. The phone number in the e-mail confirming pickup and drop date was for La. we were in Texas. I waited for a good 15 to 20 minutes to find out I had the wrong number, they transferred me to a Texas number in Houston but I was headed for South Texas so I had to be transferred to a third number. I guess the last person heard my desperation and was very kind, she corrected all the mistakes made in the contract and even gave me an extra day free, thank you so much UHaul in Victoria TX. you guys were great. I wish I wrote down the ladies name who was so helpful but all in all I was very pleased with what U-Haul provided.Reginal M.

I was not informed when I picked up the uhaul that I could only drop off the trailer at one specific location after hours. The location was way out of the way. It was very dark out and very difficult to see the place. No lighting at all at the drop off location. We had to drop off the trailer after hours because no one would be there on Christmas day and did not want to be charged for any more days. Also my granddaughter had to have the use of her suv without the trailer attached.CAMILLE C.
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable of their job. They welcomed me in like a professional. I would recommend some improvements to their office. It's in a portable building that is older, could stand some updates, leading to a more inviting location.JON C.

Not sure if I can word this correctly, but I would love to have some sort of promotion for the â€œin town onlyâ€ daily rental. I live 30 miles from the dealership so that's paying for 60 miles just to pick it up and return the truck. I will be renting for a few sporadic days here and there for the next few months while I move into my new house (yay!) and any promo would be a big help. Either way, the rental is a GREAT value and I will gladly rent from her again. I even scored a new stray kitten from her, lol. so, If you can direct me to a valid rental promotion I would really appreciate the help. If not, no big deal I still love U-Haul!Toni L.

We brought to the attention of the personal our millage difference from 55 miles to actual 72.5. Tiffany called Her supervisor to see what was to be done. The supervisor gave us a credit and apologized. Quite pleased with the out come. We rented a 26' newer truck with cruse had a better ride too. Wonderful. I'm 76 years old and I was unable to lift the tounge of the trailer to unhook. With the help from owner, we struggled to lift it. It needs a leg under the hitch so one person can crank it up. This is, without question, going to influence my decision to rent a Uhaul.RALPH M.

I returned the vehicle on time and it was filled to proper fuel level. Today I get a bill and a charge to my credit card stating that it was below the proper fuel level which is false. Is this how Uhaul gets extra profits.Wesley J.

They need hard surface parking lot with outdoor lights for night drop off. The other location in Lufkin has a concrete parking lot and outdoor lights as well as street lights.kelly F.
