The owner/operator was great-- super helpful, accommodating and helpful. The truck and trailer were not in great shape, however-- truck had difficulty driving on interstate in New Mexico and Colorado, auto trailer had blowout and damaged/degraded rubber straps that held wheelwell covers in place. Would not rent from Uhaul again for a cross-country trip.

Quite a few homeless and drug deals going on. Trash all over the Uhaul parking area. Dropped rental off at night with expected icy conditions the following morning. I needed to clean it and fill up with gas. Actually wondered if anyone sought shelter in the backs! Great idea to be honest! Sad people are on the streets…I checked the back before I drove it to fill up just in case. Noticeable remnants of desperate individuals seeking shelter in the back. I no longer wonder and so happy they had a warmer place to go! Maybe Uhaul could provide a sitting Uhaul as an act of service? **someone who left an abusive relationship and lived on the streets and rented said Uhaul to provide safety for my children and I by moving with donated funds and housing supplies* ~Just sayin….

This locationw was not my preferred dropoff spot. This one was also farther away from my original location. It was in a more dangerous part of town. There was no one really on site. I dropped the key in the slot though.

I had a very disappointing experience with this truck rental. First, the truck was extremely dirty when I picked it up, which was off-putting. After using it, I made sure to fill the gas tank to full just before returning it. However, when I dropped it off at the convenience store, I was told that the tank wasn't full, and I was charged an additional $14. I tried explaining that I had just filled the tank and couldn't possibly add more gas, but the person receiving the truck refused to listen. This experience was frustrating and felt unfair, especially after going out of my way to return the truck with a full tank. I would not recommend this service.

Get rid of the Flint Texas location. Their office was very very hard to find. The U-Haul representative aimed corporate for everything. It was not his fault in anyway and told me I was on my own. Find somebody else in Flint.

Had to go to 2 different locations to get my truck and tow dolly after having my reservation for both at a different location for a month.

The truck was incredibly dirty when I received it. Because of problems with the app I was unable to upload pictures of the dirty condition of the truck when I received it, so I was also charged the fee to clean the truck. The truck was filled with dog hair and food and spilled drinks, and in the app it showed me images of the outside of the truck and asked me to confirm them then asked if it was clean so I assumed that meant based on comparing the pictures I just was given of the outside. The truck was also on literally zero gas when I received it. Literally zero with warnings going off on the dashboard - I had to coast down a road to the nearest gas station. Overall terrible terrible experience.

We reserved our u-haul from the location closest to the Austin airport. The day before, we were notified our pick up would be in a different location, one mile away. It was much further than 1 mile and the pick up location was at a convenience store in a rough neighborhood. The Uber driver was concerned for our safety and was worried about dropping us off there. The u-haul truck was filthy. We had to spend the first 30 minutes cleaning the vehicle. We also had to stop at autozone to add coolant.

Horrible location in a terrible area. Very unsafe and dangerous. Given a vehicle that had check engine light and broke down after 3 hrs on the road. Set us back 4 days and thousands of dollars. Missed first day of work and had most items damaged in the transferring process from broken down truck to replacement.

It is a liquor store where druggies fight and hang out. Not a safe location for a moving family. Also charged $60 for dropping off 2 hours late when my drop off was already “after hours”. Won’t use uhaul again after this awful experience.

I will never rent from U-Haul again based on this location. It is a convenience store where drug addicts were smoking meth and drug dealers walked in and out. My family did not feel safe dropping me off. I am appalled that U-Haul would allow this location to carry its name. Unbelievable.

Owner over charged me for 2 days. I only had the vehicle 24 hours. Never had this issue as I have rented with another company. Bad service, wasn’t accommodating.

The cab of the truck had barely a superficial clean. The interior windshield was gross, filled with streaks that got worse as the sun set before me. The steering wheel was sticky (maybe from bad cleaning product I don't know). There were sticky spots on the floor. So I gave it a more thorough cleaning myself before setting off. I would have really appreciated a more intentional cleaning before handing it over to me.

This pick up location was horrible guy just gave me a piece of paper and said this is the trailer number if I didn’t have trailer experience I would have been lost and then drop off was easy and fast I just dropped it off anywhere they had an opening and walked in they didn’t ask anything or check for damages or anything took a video for my records though and also there was still boxes in trailer from previous use of it

I like to rent from here. The hours are extended because it is part of a convenience store. You don’t have a $20 late drop off fee because it is after 7pm. The owners are awesome.

The owner gave me mileage that was 50 miles less than what was on the odometer. I only noticed when the trip had started, and he refused to compare the records of the previous customer which would have proved that I only used the truck for less than 12 miles. He kept saying “It’s my fault for not checking” which may be true but when he’s taking a photo of the odometer after each trip, he knew I wasn’t lying and just wanted to charge me for the extra 60 dollars. I’ll never be coming back and will be recommending everyone use a different u-haul location.

The uHaul office is part of a convenience store in a very bad area of town. It took a while to get service and the grocery customers who came in were certainly not the ones you would like to have your daughters hang out with. But the staff was very nice and helpful and got the job done.

Upon arriving, the attendent argued with me that I didn't have a drop off reservation. The language barrier didn't help much. It appeared to be an absolute shocker that I was dropping off a truck and trailer. The guy kept telling me they didn't have room and he would have to call his boss. I was fearful that he wasn't going to take my drop off and would make me drive somewhere else to drop off when I had to catch a plane and fly back home. It doesnt look like UHaul has very good communication between pick up and drop off locations. I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with UHaul and hope I never have to use you again!

When I reserved the uhaul online I declined insurance on it but once I picked up the uhaul protection was still added onto my bill. I would appreciate it if information put on my reservation was honored instead of having to go through the questionnaire at again at pickup causing confusing or making unwanted changes to my existing reservation.
