We were 2 1/2 hours late getting the uhaul and I was only issues a refund of $50. Employee stated that someone else â€œforgotâ€ to put the key in. We could not get anyone on the phone. We also ordered a dolly and paid for it and never received it! It was overall an awful experience and to think we paid $184 dollars for this! I am very unsatisfied.Maci B.

This facility is very nice and well managed. I have used it not only for climate controlled storage, but also for U-Haul rentals. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The location is central and access is good, but off the main road enough so that traffic is no problem at all. Clean and well kept grounds with secure storage and security cameras everywhere. I actually went here after trying to rent a U-Haul from Big Bear Crunchy chicken on Piedmont Avenue in downtown Rockmart. I will never ever go to Big Bear Crunchy Chicken for anything anymore. I was given a quote online and they wanted to charge me about $200 MORE then what I was quoted. However, I was very glad to go to Blue Moon storage instead. The girl working there was very sweet, informative and professional. I would gladly give them my business in the futureTAMARA D.

The lady was at that location was SO VERY KIND. Uhaul screwed up my reservation which left me without a truck. So they finally found a truck at that location. This location was extremely helpful. Alley was the person I worked with. However, somebody else (corporate, the website, whoever) kept cancelling my reservation. I already had the trailer loaded at my destination when Alley called to confirm that I had cancelled. I confirmed I had not. Ultimately, instead of doing all the paperwork on-line, I had to stop by Blue Moon and do it in person. Even then, somebody had cancelled the reservation a second time, and she had to call to get it re-instated before she could print my paperwork and take payment. I have used Blue Moon multiple times in the past, and hope to continue using them. But the Uhaul side of the process was horrible. Probably the ONLY reason I will use Uhaul again is because Alley was so helpful and professional.Daniel R.

The 2447 Sorter Rome location calked me on Friday and confirmed my Uhaul trailer reservation. I also received a text and email. I called Saturday morning while on my way and changed tbe time to 2 .p.m. instead of 1 p.m. and again confirmed. As I was about an hour from Rome, they calked to inform me to go to East Pawn, 15 miles past Rome. They had trailers but for local only, not one way. My confirmations were clearly for one way rental to Peachtree City, Ga. Luckily I called Easy Paw before going there. Blake at Easy Pawn advised thet he was closing at 1 p.m. and Shorter location knew that. It was 12:45 and I was an hour away. I called the 1-800 uhaul number. The only thing she could find was Calhoun, Ga., 30 minutes past Rome. Thst location would have taken me an hour extra round-trip. I pulled off of the highway and located a trailer in Rockmart and had them transfer my reservation. This was very unproffessional of Uhaul. Additionally, I drove by the Shorter location and they had 2 trailers on the lot. Uhaul can improve by not confirming a reservation, then cancelling it mid-stream.Ahkibah K.

I couldn't drop off the truck due to inability for UHAUL to locate me. I called and waited on hold for 15 mins to drop off the truck. After I dropped the truck, I was charged an addition $2.89 for SOMETHING. Overall not a great experience. I'm willing to use another company and pay higher rates for better service.SAMANTHA L.

The lady that was in the office when we picked the truck up was very nice and worked with us and very helpful, Lydia Goodson, you where very good. How ever when we returned the truck there was a different person, Lorene Parker, who was rude with us. And tried her best to over charge us and she could not read a fuel gauge, she tried to say we got boxes from them so she could add on another charge.Steven S.

I had a reservation at 9:00 AM and showed up at 8:55 and the establishment was not opened. I called their phone number and the woman said that she wasn't going to open the doors until exactly 9:00. I think that if someone has a reservation at a certain time they should have a window of at least 10-15 minutes to show up early. I also am curious as to how they would have handled a reservation for 6 AM for instance. Because when I booked my reservation I had the option to choose a time that early and now I am very glad that I didn't because I have a feeling that no one would have been there to give me my rental.Megan F.

They couldn't explain the pricing, they didn't know which location we could return truck, it took almost an hour to rent this truck because they didn't know what they were doing. They didn't tell us that there was a different price for one way and local. They didn't tell us that the rates are higher on Friday even though I called to reserve the truck and told them I wanted it for Friday. They told us to leave 1/4 tank of gas in the truck, how was we suppose to do that?? The truck had 1/2 tank when we dropped it off. Do we get a refund for that??? We told them we were going 60 miles. They insisted on charging us for 70 but you can see we only went 60.6. Do we get refunded for that mileage??? They told us we could drop the truck off at any location in Fairburn, GA. I called the location we were going to drop it off at and the employee there said we had to call the number on the agreement to see where to drop it. Rockmart location needs some training on renting UHAUL trucks. We will never rent another UHAUL again. The worst experience EVER.terrell H.

When returning the truck, the account I set up would not allow me back in to complete ete the transaction. I spent almost an hour and it continued to instruct me to try later. Finally I got the phone number to blue moon storage and left the store. The next day I called to make sure our return was complete. I was told by Erica that the truck I rented was not there and I must have returned it to another location. I was instructed to go get it and return it to them. I tried to convince her that I had returned it to the correct location. Nothing I said convinced her. After my conversation with her, I felt unintelligent and rattled. I was an hour away and could not travel quickly. After some time, I had another conversation with her. She told me it was all her mistake and she had turned the wrong truck to me in the first place. She said everything was good and I did not need to worry any more. I am glad she finally took responsibility for the problem. I do have a problem being told I am not smart enough to know where I turned the truck into. I will have to think about how I felt before I rent another truck.sandra C.

Wash the truck. And change the tires on the trucks. They're all bald we later learned one of the tires needed replacing and the rear right tire was leaking hydraulic fuel. The towing man said this truck should never have passed inspection.Judy B.
My only complaint is that I dropped the rental trailer off on Sunday when the site was closed and today, Wednesday, I got an email saying that my equipment had not been returned. I'm assuming that has been resolved since I am able to rate that location on the survey. With all the stress of moving from out-of-state that was not a pleasant thing to find today.Barden R.
