Gas tank had a problem where you could only pump 0.2 gallons at a time then the pump would shut off. Got the truck at 1/4 a tank, loaded it and then went to fill up, found out about the problem. It too me 30 minutes to fill up each time, adding 2.5 hours to my trip. I would like to get some sort of refund for the 10% added time on my tripJason L.

I arrived at this location alone. I was not told that I would have to assemble all the equipment myself since there are no workers at this location. Had ANYONE chosen to explain to me what to expect, I could have asked a knowledgable friend to come with me. Unfortunately I was not communicated with and was left to deal with these circumstances. U-Haul screwed us by giving us a truck way too big than we needed or wanted, as well as making us drive 40 miles round-trip out of our way to get it. I will never rent from U-Haul again and I'm telling everyone I know to never rent from U-Haul. You are not trustworthy or honest. he clerk at Blue Ridge Market was WONDERFUL. The experience with U-Haul as a rental truck company was HORRIFIC. We reserved 6 weeks in advance a 20-foot truck from the Prescott, Arizona U-Haul. Then, a week before our move, U-Haul called to say we'd have to instead get the 20 foot truck at Blue Ridge Market, which is 20 miles away. We arrived at Blue Ridge only to find not a 20-foot truck but a 26-foot truck waiting for us. (There was a 20-foot truck there but it was "broken.") I called U-Haul while at Blue Ridge and asked about whether there was any other option for a truck from the Prescott store, and was told "Prescott has no trucks." (This was a pure lie: I drove by the Prescott shop on my way home with the 26-foot truck and there were at least 20 trucks in the Prescott U-Haul lot.). We had to accept the 26-foot truck because we could not change our move date. I did not want the 26-foot truck because I suspected it would not go up our driveway, which is steep, and I was right. So we had to pay our movers for twice as long to load the truck, since our driveway was quite long. We also had to buy more gas for the bigger truck. AND, U-Haul attempted to force us to pay more for the 26-foot truck! U-Haul is a horrible business.Marti G.

Very disappointed in this recent experience, primarily customer service at the pickup location. The woman assisting me (supposedly) did not seem too savvy using Uhaul's site and almost seemed annoyed she had to help me. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day so I didn't think much of her behaviorâ€¦.until the next day, that is. Same woman, same attitude. She ended up giving me wrong info on the truck rental PLUS gave me another customer's printed out bill (which I didn't realize til I got home). MY bill started at $119, then $111, and finally $152 (the last amount was via email confirmation). I'm pretty sure I won't be using this place anymoreâ€¦Celedonia G.

My review is of corporate not Blue Hills although they made mistakes too. I rented a truck on Thursday for pickup from Blue Hills because I only had to go across the street to my storage unit and then I get a text saying I have to go 30 miles up the road to get my truck in Prescott. I called Blue Hills and they said corporate can override their reservation. That is totally unexceptable!! My business is as important as anyone else's so why should I be the one shuffled off to Timbuktu? Very disappointed in Uhaul.ANN M.
The online pick up the truck feature took alot longer than it would have taken by just going inside when I first arrived at the store. I still had to wait in line to get my key even though it says to skip the line and just show the phone to the agent and grab the keep. The whole process was around 30 minutes which then ate into my rental time. 20 mins checking in and getting validated online, 10 more minutes waiting in line. This store gets busy so that's why we chose the online checkin.Alfredo L.

We were charged for insurance by the 1-800 agent without my knowledge or consent. Eileen at the Blue Ridge location was going to reverse the charge but apparently didn't. She wasn't there when we returned the trailer yesterday so have not followed up yet. We still need the $8 charge reversed.JOEL G.
