The establishment was completely fine a typical gas station BUT the truck I was given was terrible! For nearly $1,900 I expect a vehicle that was at least safe and reasonably maintained. What I got instead was one of the worst driving experiences I’ve ever had. The steering alignment was completely unacceptable. The wheel had to be constantly turned just to keep the truck going straight. On a 16-hour road trip, that becomes physically exhausting and honestly feels unsafe. A vehicle in that condition should never have been rented out to anyone. The cab noise was even worse. I measured the interior noise level at 112-114 decibels while driving, loud enough that I couldn’t hear the stereo, GPS directions, or even hold a normal conversation with my passenger. It sounded like driving inside an industrial machine for 16 hours straight. Between the constant steering correction and the deafening noise, the trip became miserable. For the amount of money charged, I expected a vehicle that was mechanically sound and remotely comfortable to operate. Instead, I got a truck that felt neglected and poorly maintained. I’m beyond disappointed with this experience and seriously question how this vehicle passed inspection or was considered roadworthy.
Laramie SThe truck box had not been swept out prior to pick up, there were 12 blankets left in the box, and the fuel was less than listed on the contract. I was going to upload pictures but I can't see where I can do this. Bright side: The lady at the counter helping me with my contract was cheerful and pleasant to work with.

ANDREW HEven when working at a neighborhood market/gas station, Eileen was quite organized and knowledgeable about the U-haul work. She was accommodating for issues which I had to deal with in my moving circumstances. I will always use this location of any rental needs in the future.
