We requested blankets, none were provided. We requested a furniture dolly, this was also not provided. The truck I needed was not the right size and I had to take a much bigger truck. Please keep your locations properly stocked.

JANET SEileen was great! On 3/7/25, it was snowing everywhere. I was moving my 90 yr old parents from their home of 35 yrs to Assisted Living. I was so stressed out and couldn't stop crying even when I arrived at Blue Ridge to get the truck. Eileen was so sweet and helpful. She went out to get the dolly, start the truck to melt the snow and warm it up for me. She explained all the details. The truck was clean. The entire process was flawless especially Eileen. Thank you for your help, compassion, and hugs! Recommend this Uhaul location 110%!!!

Sean MTheft of Service took $124.00 for miles I didn’t use only drove 14.4 miles but was told I drove 115 miles the odometer showed 9045 when I returned it should 9160 I call the Ploice to do a report because I had already paid $61 for the truck and my 14 miles. Never have I ever had so many problems with u-haul the guy never to me anything about the truck and what he was going to charge me he just charged my card and when I asked why did you charge me $124 dollars he said that it was for 115 miles they should not be able to rent your trucks. They are fraudulently charging people. Someone drove that truck and they trying to make it up for it not realizing I would’ve known how much they charge me right away.

A week later I get a call from the U-Haul Haul center in Prescott telling me I need to pick the truck up there and I need to return it to Dewey. CHRISTOPHER RThe only drop-off location offered was 20 miles from my destination, even though there are 5 locations closer. I was told they were all full. At drop off I tried to use the Self Return link but it did not work. The person who helped me was not much help, kept me waiting twice, didn't offer to unhook the trailer (I did it), didn't check it, obviously didn't want to be at his job. I was charged for an extra day even though I was given an extra day as noted above. Also, your review form does not provide a place to provide feedback on your Corporate system, such as the reservation process, having to drive to more distant locations for both pickup and drop-off, not getting the extra day as promised until I followed up, and then still being charged for it, non-working links in texts, and your contact page has no option to provide email feedback on this. The trailer rental was a good value, which is the only thing keeping me from giving a Poor rating. I would have paid more for better service.

JAMES BFront drivers side of truck was damaged to the extent that the truck steering was/is out of alignment and pulls hard to the right. I should have checked the rear of the truck but assumed that it was clean. When I got to my storage unit and opened the roll up door there were at least 120 storage blankets locted there. My storage unit is only 500 ft from this uhaul rental store and my new home is 3.5 miles from my storage unit. Fortunately, my wife had her Puck up truck there and we loaded the blankets and returned them. Wasting time better spent loading instead of doing uhaul business. The truck had not been swept out and had an odd odor inside. This store and its workers are ill prepared to represent uhaul and the customer interface has much to be desired. Lastly, the fuel scam needs to stop. The truck should have been filled before rental. A customer cannot estimate how much fuel to put back in the truck and this truck had just under 1/2 a tank. This scam is prevalent throughout the uhaul system nationwide and must be stopped. I am from Baltimore. I know and am very familiar with ghetto. This particular store is ghetto and it's franchise should be pulled
PATRICK PWhen I picked up the truck, the exterior driver and passenger side steps along with the interior floorboard areas were filthy ... caked with red mud. The fold-down armrest/storage/drinkholder was also filthy from previous use.
JOHN LThe pick up location was fabulous. U-Haul central booking was a nightmare. They changed my pick up location to 40 miles away without informing me. I only found out because the night before the new location called to confirm. They made the calls needed to return the booking to the correct location. The location itself was a pleasure to work with. Then central booking called me 3 hours after I picked up the trailer to tell me they were changing my drop off location 30 miles away from my requested location. I did not have a choice, if I was to return to my original location I would have to pay a $30 fee. No, no, I signed a contract saying I would drop off at one location, you can’t change the contract on me after it was signed. Asked for a callback from a supervisor . No one ever called, so I turned it into my original location as stated in my contract. That location was also fabulous. While both the independent pick up and drop off locations were great, I will never rent through U-Haul again because of the central booking.

DANIL NThe return location was nice and the personnel were very helpful. But like our pickup location I had to go to three locations before I was able to drop off the trailer. 1) The first location that I was sent an email about was having road construction and I could not make it into the storage place. 2) I went to Budget Storage in Prescott Valley but they did not take trailers. However, the lady there was very helpful and made arrangements with the "Traffic" department and she helped us go to a third location that would accept the trailer. Blue Ridge Market & Storage in Dewey. 3) In total we had to drive 28 miles roundtrip from all of the different locations to our home. Next time I only want to go to a U-Haul owned store.
THOMAS HI requested a dolly several weeks back to be dropped off at Blue Hills Marksr. Received a message that it was dropped off, stopped in to pick it up, it wasn’t there. A. One weeks later requested another dolly they said the closet one was in Prescott Valley on Fulton he didn’t have one. The gentleman searched and said it was at U-Haul in Prescott on 69. After leaving Fulton in PV I noticed Blue Hills Market had a large number of car dollys which they just received. I rented from them. All this miscommunication was ridiculous.
DOUGLAS PU-Haul is by far the worst company I’ve ever rented from. They did not have the trailer that I’d requested in stock. I had to go to several other locations and I did not find out until an hour before I was supposed to pick up my equipment this is absolutely ridiculous.

JOEL GYour survey should ask about the equipment—The 6 x 12 cargo trailers should have jack stands for installing and uninstalling. They are too heavy to lift. Had to use car jack to uninstall from U-Haul 20’ Truck, which is dangerous. Also no staff was available to assist with the uninstall.

Dagmar GI told you exactly where I was picking up and dropping off and somehow you still charged me for 87 extra miles. You forced me to do mobile pick up with zero instructions how to pick up and overall just crappy service. I will not use UHAUL again.

Carl VTrailer didn't travel straight, upon inspection after we were loaded and on road, turns out the axle springs were broken and had been for a bit. It scrubbed the tire for a few until my husband did a temporary fix to get us where we were going! This would have been a disaster had my husband not known what to do to help it get to the locals drop off!
JOHN HEverything went great and the process was easy. I reserved and paid for a trailer on line and picked it up the next day. The woman that processed my paperwork when I arrived was friendly and efficient, and she hooked up the trailer to my Jeep in about two minutes. I drove several hundred miles to pick up the belongings of my relative, and the trailer worked perfectly. I would definitely use this location again and I would recommend it to anyone needing a trailer!
