The van I rented was super dirty on the interior, especially the flooring in the back, which was covered in dirt. I can handle a dusty interior cab but I wasn't happy that I had to place my bags and personal belongings on a floor covered in dirt. I thought we are required to return the vehicle in a clean condition as well, so I was a little reluctant to drive it off the U-Haul lot when I picked it up and saw that it was already excessively dirty. I've rented from U-Haul on countless occasions throughout my life and none of those experiences made me think I should plan ahead in case the van is dirty. I didn't have time to buy a drop cloth once I had the van and if I did, I would have had to pay for it and pay for the additional mileage to get there. Just clean your vans and hold customers accountable for returning them in a clean condition per their contract terms so the next guy doesn't have to deal with it.RYAN J.

Prior to renting we asked the office if the tru k was checked for safety and reliability. They said yes. Unfortunately when we were driving the truck was shaking and couldn't drive over 44 MPH on the freeway . We contacted U Haul and reported the problem this is the 2nd time that we had an issues with your truckOMAR M.

The location and truck were fine, clean and in good repair, but we have never been charged mileage before. It made a truck that should have cost $40 for a day's use cost over $100. Wondering if it was because this was a franchise instead of a regular uhaul location. We've always gotten our other trucks from the uhaul on Page, this was an accidental click on the wrong pickup location.Nicolas M.

The customer service agent that took my order, entered my phone number wrong in the system. That cause 90 minutes of problems on the phone before I could pick up the truck. The first telephone agent 12 minutes to answer the phone and then put me on hold for another 18 minutes before I hang up. Call back in on their different telephone option that customer service agent was excellent and stayed on the phone with me until my online order was complete. Plus also corrected the errors from the first two agents. I personally believe the in-house agent should have been able to set up my order online and validate that it was accurate before I left the store. Especially since I was picking up the truck on a day when the office was closed.Arthur H.

The van I reserved was waiting for me when I arrived. I was able to leave my car at the location while I ran my errand with the rental van which took about 90 minutes. This location is on a section of Dorsett where there was not much traffic making getting out and turning left easy.Eric K.

Vehicle was filthy. I spent about a half hour cleaning it out myself. There was spit on the window in the top left corner, trash in the cup holders and on the floor, food left in there, stuff spilled on the console, door, and center cup holders, steering wheel sticky, and outside had mud on it. The person handling the equipment & paper work for the rental of equipment was very professional, friendly, & helpful with every aspect of the process. He made the process go very smoothly. They sent us photos of a vehicle that was obviously not the vehicle we rented. The photos we were sent did match at all. The vehicle that was labeled as the one we purchased had at least 4 spots with cosmetic damage. The corresponding photos did not have the vehicle with that damage. We uploaded those photos to make sure no one was trying to pull a fast one and charge us with the fees for a damaged vehicle. Everything else was amazing as far as how well the procedure was described and what we needed to do. But the false photo trick was really sketchy and less cautious person would have missed the discrepancy and then probably charged with the damages. And that is pretty despicable. I'm hoping that maybe there was a good faith type of mistake. I doubt I'll rent from Bob's for a third time though.Robert W.
