I dud the rental of the truck online when I got to the place to pick up the truck it was blocked by a trailer a man appeared and told me with attitude if I need rebt truck I have to go inside store. I explain to him that I did everything online. He told rudely That he was not going to move his trailer that I needed go inside to sign another truck. A lady arrived and kindly told me it was a mistake the lady and she told the man to calm down. I waited because obviously, I needed the truck. Bad really bad experience. When we dropped off our truck and trailer at this location, we were laughed at stating that our truck was returned early and the trailer was late. Additionally, the day before we called up the storage location to confirm reservation at Daytona Beach and Customer Service swore to us before we left that we would get a storage unit. When we arrived there with our truck and belongings, we were laughed at. No storage unit was available and no one cared that we were stuck. This forced us to find our own place and put on additional miles and U-haul did not care but just charged my credit card without my approval. Once U-haul got a hold of my credit card, they charged us for their mistakes right and left. This company cares only to rip off the people unjustly as much as they can. Arrived at the location and had to call the owner to let him know we were there and then had to wait 15 minutes for him to arrive. Then he felt the need to complain about how he doesn't make any money through UHaul and only gets 3% profit from the sale of the rental and complained about other locations etc. All I was looking for was to pick up my rental and not have to hear about all his negative comments. I have always had an excellent experience picking up any rentals I've had to do but let me to tell you, this one was not for sure. So sad being the customer and feeling like a burden. Dropped trailer off at this told drop off site. I received a rude voice mail from boo boo's and was told that the trailer was not supposed to be dropped at there spot, and if I did not come and pick it up I would be charged $3,000. I returned his call the next day, the man was still very rude and he advised me that this mishap was taken care of. He never apologized for there mistake. This business should never leave threatening voice-mail. I have email, and voice-mail advising me that boo boo's was the drop off site. I guess this is why they are called boo boo's!SANDY O.

Actually reserved the trailer 3 days before i needed because i wasn't positive that they were going to have the equipment i needed to go on vacation. So it sat in my driveway before i used it and i paid 3 days for non use???? Not good, REFUND? Also , i got flat tires twice, once a nail, second time the valve stem not installed correctly...Total BS.....ANTHONY H.

I made a reservation to pick up the trailer in Daytona Beach, and the day before pick up you told me none were available there even though I saw them there. The reservation was made at the Daytona Beach center a week prior. You told me I had to drive to Tampa or Bunnell to pick up a trailer.CHARLES L.

when I arrived at the dealer it was closed but they had a drop box, I then went home to print a copy of the contract that was e-mailed to me went back to dealer put the copy of the contract in his drop box I found out later that dealer could not receive trailers even though he has a huge sign on the front of his building the trailer worked great for merobert G.

I reserved a trailer in Daytona beach for the 21st for 10:00 am, my bike was being worked on, and I was running late. It would have been nice to receive a phone call from your company, to verify the pickup, before my trailer was released to someone else. I received the phone call after the incident and had to go 45 minutes out of my way.SHARONLEE P.

the vendor did not wear a mask and kept us waiting, he could not see the screen on the laptop and so I had to get close to him and his screen (without his mask on) to see what the laptop said. I felt very uncomfortable in this time of covid and seeing that both myself and my granddaughter were wearing masks he should have respected us enough to be wearing on.shirley R.

I first drove to drop off the trailer at the Palm Coast location where I was told very rudely that I was at the wrong location also that Uhaul would charge me double for dropping off at the wrong location.. He then while looking at my reservation informed me wrongly to bring it 12 miles away to St. AUGUSTINE. They were very nice however they did not have space. I spoke to dispatch and was informed that Palm Coast should have taken the trailer because your records show they had space. Now I needed to drive 14 miles to drop off the trailer at Boo Boo. They were nice. But I am still upset about the lack of customer service at the Palm Coast St Joe's Plaza location. They caused me 3 extra hours by sending me to another location because they did not want to assist or do their job!!!Christopher A.

The lady running this place, i didn't bother to get her name, was literally the worst version of customer service I have ever seen. She has you call a number on a door when you arrive as she isn't even on site. She came strolling up in what looked like pajamas and proceeded to smoke outside with another lady for 5 minutes directly in front of us as if we weren't even there. Then she strolls inside and tells us she is going to the bathroom and will get with us in a bit. This location is a joke and a stain on the professionalism of U-hauls operations. I have always used U-hual but never will again from this location. I was disappointed and disgusted. As a healthcare worker, we are required to always present our best self to the patient and have no room for lackluster customer service. I highly recommend U-hual take a strong look around at this shanty of an operation and consider cutting ties with whomever runs this laughable location.Nathan G.

This man changed our contract from where we originally rented and charged us 221.00 more dollars, we specifically asked would it cost more and he told us â€œNOâ€ then rented us another truck for 4 hours and charged us for a whole day and $265.00.. of course this wasn't in his online contract he emailed us.. not a paper contract... we only needed to move a refrigerator 37 miles an dc ended up being charged nearly $600.00!! He had a hard time seeing the contract online and had to have the computer/ phone 3 inches from his eyes... and laughed and bragged about charging another couple over $1,000.00 because their Uhaul was broken down here in Florida and they were traveling to Ohio... very disgusted with a Uhaul rep. that screws everyone over!! I have filed a complaint!! Also turned in truck in 4 hours at the said return location, they were so busy they didn't put in it was returned until the next day!! What is going on Uhaul??? We can't even trust the largest moving company in America?? Will see how my complaint is handled before I decide if I ever use Uhaul again!!!Anthony W.
