Online reservation took a little too long

This was my first time doing a u haul and while I understand some of the things that you do are for the benefit of the customer it can still make for a tedious process. Like for example I went to the app and put in my info so when I got there I could just pick up the truck however when I got there I had to put in more info( I think there should be autofill) and then had to take pictures which if I would of knew I had to do that( it’s not stated you will need to take pictures, it might be apparent for some but not for me) I would have selected a time slot before dark to take pictures because here I am in the middle of the dark taking pictures. Then I had to wait on the pictures to be confirmed which took a while ultimately I had to wait over an hour before I could actually take the truck. I almost didn’t even bring my phone to begin with so I’m glad I did. And for the drop off for example one of my photos wouldn’t accept and I nearly ran late for work. Like I said I understand why it’s done just maybe if the business could do the inspection before you pick up or after it would save time, I would say before pick up would be better.

The people there did not ask if I needed any help. So maybe next time communicate with the customer ask if they need any help or need help with the 24/7 pickup.

We turned the Uhaul in the day we were supposed to and got a call later that week saying that we were going to owe thousands of dollars because we hadn't returned the truck even though we turned it in. The employee we handed the keys over to didn't do the proper paperwork to get the truck turned back in.

Check engine light came on half way through are trip and got squirrely on the road. The truck also wouldn't start sometimes if you shut it off, you would turn the key and nothing, but I brought it back earlier and still got a late change because no one was in the office and I had to put the keys in the drop box

Picked up at 7am Saturday morning, drove 80 miles before the water pump literally blew up, throwing shards of metal into the interstate and stranding us on the side of I44 for 4 hours. Customer service was understanding but completely unorganized. They set up multiple tow's, then canceled them. The uhaul would not start, which meant no heat for 4 hours. No offer for refund. We had just filled the gas tank, 20 minutes prior to it breaking down. The uhaul was towed to our new home, where we unloaded. We were offered another truck that night, however there was no way to have 2 20' trucks in our driveway. We had an entire other house to pack and bring to our new home, yet knew we only needed the truck for 1 day. We had other plans for Sunday, yet spent it scrambling to get this move completed. The last woman I spoke to, about the 2nd Uhaul was beyond disrespectful. Call logs should be listened to and she should be offered extra training for her lack of concern and empathy.

I was completely satisfied with the company and ease of rental. Courteous, friendly and ready before promised when plans changed requiring an earlier pick up. Great job!!!

Make sure they know to always check their receipts because this place will try to rip you off. Woman there was So scatter brained she messed up my payment and refund twice! Good thing I know math and can count!

The truck was not clean on the inside when we went to pick it up, but they came right out and cleaned it when we told them about it not being clean. They were very nice and helpful at check in.
