I dont have any issues with the 2 on this page, but I do have major issues with the Hillsboro wi place where I initially placed my order on the 29th of August. I went to pick it up and je had nothing for me and was extremely rude about it. I had to go to boscobel to get it and it cost me more then $500 more bcuz it was last minute. I rented a car hauler in Oklahoma. The agreement was that I could drop in off in Prairie du Chien Wisconsin. When I got there today they told me if I dropped it off there it would cost another $400.00. They said my drop off point was in Boscobel WI, over a 50 mile round trip away. They also said there must have been an emergency and Boscobel needed the hauler. I called the place I rented it from near Oklahoma City. They said there was nothing they could do once the trailer left their lot and to call 1-800-u-haul. They said they could change my drop off point to Praire du chien. I called them and they said they could not change the drop off point, and transferred me to some national scheduler, then they transferred me to a wisconsin scheduler. They said the place in Prairie du chien did not accept car trailers, Obviously the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. So after a big run around I took it to Boscobel, They said there was no emergency and the place in Prairie du Chien should have accepted it. I feel the place in Oklahoma should not have changed the drop off point from what we agreed to. What good in the contract?THOMAS S.

Truck felt like it had a very slight misfire. And rear tires are getting low on tread and the left front wheels brakes were screeching a couple times. I'm a technician and that's just what I thought from driving it. But other then those things it was a good experienceAustin S.
Location was closed when I arrived, even though the U-Haul website indicated it would be open. I had to use to app to pick up the truck, but there was a problem with the reservation so I had to call. The wait time was about 45 min. After the call the option to "pick up truck" became available, but I needed to provide even more information (I had already checked-in online 2 days before). The app asked for a passport photo, utility bill, a reference contact that U-Haul would phone to verify, etc. I don't have any of that with me - I'm at the pick-up location. I add a friends phone number and get to wake them up at 8:00 a.m. for a call from U-Haul. Overall, PITA pick-up experience. I'm a U-Haul fan, but you can do better.Brian J.

This was the worst experience was drop off. My information was set up for drop off here after hours but UHauls system didn't see it. After sitting on the phone on hold and being hung up on transferred to others who refused to help was ridiculous. The customer service was insulting and and less than helpful. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone. Worst experience ever.Teresa R.

I think that Uhaul policy sucks, I had to drive an empty truck 200 miles at 99 cents per mile plus fuel because I was not able to drop off at different location, at no way this is the small business owner fault, he has no control over it. It is Uhaul way to ripoff the consumer, beware before you make a reservation.Jose M.
The cost to rent a 10 foot truck for less than 3 hours usage and total of 81 miles was $112.84. That is unreasonable. $19.95 for a 10 foot truck seems too good to be true - because it is! Then add $0.69 per mile, plus $17 for fuel, plus $5 rental tax and $1 environmental fee and the final cost was a whopping surprise of $112.84. Never again.Ralph S.

Wasn't told about the u haul check out and I mentioned it and was treated rude. Also keep track of your mileage cause they estimate it when you pick it up. So turn in, it was less miles than they estimated and they tried to still charge me for what they estimated. Will never go back.John L.

I was told they had wifi. However, when we got there (at 12:30 in the morning) I had no idea which wifi it was! There were many. As it turns out, theirs was "centurylinkxxxx" or something like that. The name (SSID) had nothing to do with Uhaul or Braudt Automotive. Customers either need to be told the Wifi name (SSID) and password or it should be posted outside. As it turns out, I had zero cell reception and had to use the DQ public wifi down the road to complete the checkout.Aaron O.

I was informed that the rental truck got 10 to 12 mpg. At start of trip, I added the amount of fuel that should have been burned on this trip based on that mpg. The 10-12 mpg must be incorrect because the truck's tank had a lot of excess fuel at trip's end---much more that at trip's start--which cost me $$. The truck was lightly loaded though.Paul T.

I rented a 20ft back in March and paid in cash. Was told I had to put an additional 100$ down when I arrived to pick up the uhaul. I put the money down and was told when I returned it the next morning I would be refunded. I never got refuned I am still fighting with the company about my 100$ and it's simply ridiculous. There playing games and have absolutely no respect about the fact that they owe me money. It's now June 1st and still no money. I will absolutely never again go through uhaul. The reservation itself was misleading and inconvenient. I reserved a truck in La Crosse, WI. The app identified Madison. I contacted UHaul to question/confirm location, to which I was informed it would be La Crosse, only to have it changed to Boscobel, WI. a day before the reservation = Ridiculous! Then this whole 'check-in' with the app is lousy. To request Secondary information/confirmation was a complete waste. The online support was no help. Thankfully, there was a woman who assisted me when I called the 800#... otherwise, a complete headache. The vehicle itself, was just fine. Drop-off location, nothing special - it served its purpose. Overall, just expect better upfront reliability and app-service that actually helps.William B.
