Clean the inside of the truck with an armor all or sani wipe. The steering wheel, arm rests and cup holders were gross. I wiped them down with my personal stuff and the towel was black. The expectation is for the customer to bring the vehicle back perfect but that is not how the vehicle is loaned to you. Also, please don't assume that everyone has internet on their phone. I think it's ridiculous to charge someone $20 to check in a vehicle just because they can't do it from the text message sent to the phone. So, I had to make a trip back to the UHAUL dealer to check in my rental which was not necessary AT ALL.Tamra G.

The equipment was not clean. The cab was absolutely filthy! My original pick up destination was at another location. Someone from U-Haul phoned me to switch my rental locations to the Brockville store even though I had reserved the truck five days in advance. This added 13.6 miles onto the cost of the truck rental ( in mileage.) I've asked for a manager to phone me to discuss to no avail. Never again.Jill C.

We were in a bind after our vehicle broke down while we were moving. We had to rent a cargo van and offload our items into it before the towing service arrived! The website pricing compared to the pricing in store was different. When I reserved online the pricing was around the . 60cent a mile range but when I was billed it was charged at . 99cents a mile. I also, told service tech I'd like to pay cash when I got back but, he was kinda snarky when he billed and charged me from outside. I prefer budget trucks they are more affordableLEO R.

Aside from the location having a slow to boot up computer the location itself was fine. I'm irate at U-Haul corporate because this was 45 minutes away from my location and became quite a burden on moving day to get the truck itself. The truck had a steering problem, very hard to control. Too much play in the steering column with no response. Also took a long time to shift gears, may have a transmission issue. Truck should be looked at and fixed. Otherwise the truck was fine but I would not rent this truck again if it weren't fixed. I just didn't feel safe driving it.cheryl D.

The UHaul online rental and check out allowed me to rent the truck for 16 hours and stated to return by midnight. I tried returning it bit the location was locked and there was no place to leave the truck and no night drop box for keys. I had to drive it back home then back in the morning. As a result I was charged for the extra fuel and mileage. This was poor communications dn shady on the part of UHaul.Joshua D.

I have a complaint. When they hooked up the trailer to my van, I questioned the person booking it up about one of the chains being too low & he said it would be ok. The chain was dragging on my trip & it hit the bumper of my van in several places & scratched it up. I would like for UHaul to fix my van, since it was not hooked up correctly by a UHaul representative.Barbara H.
