Truck was damaged. Fuel tank was totally empty and had a hole in it. No help offered to get some gas and get on our way. It was a Saturday and we were told “No one will come.” Day before our pickup, we were incorrectly given the key code. U-Haul later called and removed our ability to pick up the truck after hours. Between these two things, we were delayed 3.5 hours. I had hired moving help that I had to pay additional for due to the delayed start. Avoid this location if at all possible.

This location was not well equipped to clean or service the vehicles. They shorted me on blankets and didn’t note it for drop off.

Customer service rep did not know what he was doing, had to call someone to walk him through the steps. uhaul was completely on Empty an i was charged $166 for gas that was not in the truck, entire truck bed was filled with ashes and burnt paper from i suppose a fire. I would never ever rent from this specific location again. They have yet to get a refund, will be calling higher ups.

Interior was clean, exterior was caked with mud. Was asked to return my rental earlier than my scheduled time because they had another reservation for the truck and needed to clean it and everything for that client. Asked for an appliance dolly was given basic dolly.

I felt very bad for the employee who said she was new and she obviously had little to no training. We were there for nearly an hour just for a basic pickup of a van i had reserved a few days earlier. She tried calling her boss who didn't answer. She finally reached someone at a different store who walked her through the basics. This gal was very nice, patient and did her best so my frustration is not with her but with the lack of training and help given to employees.

When I returned the truck in Bakersfield they charge me for extra miles wich I never used as a matter of fact I had extra unused miles and you still charged me for extra miles not used, a re-enbursement will be issue but this did not happend up untill I proof you where wrong this tells me that you try to take advantage of me and if I would never complain you would keep my money, Bad business. I wonder if your employees are making extra money by ripping people off.

I left my computer back pack behind the drivers chair. When I went to the dropped site this am I es able to see the bag pack by the window but the location site was closed. Came back to the site at opening time but back pack was gone and the truck was moved from original parking spot to another by the store worker in the self storage store at 2305 Brundage ln Bakersfield, CA. After asked the store worker to showed me the surveillance cameras to see who accessed the truck before him and he refused stating he didn’t know the code to access to the video recording. After contacted the BPD store worker claimed himself as the supervisor the store and no one also had access to the cameras and also the cameras don’t record any video. This is a clear case of stolen property and I’m very disappointed. The bag had an IPod air. an iPhone, an Asus Computer, a cosmetic bag with $1500 cash.

I can't think of anything they can do to improve. They make this so easy and quick and painless. I know not all uhauls are the same and this is a fine example. I should've known. I rent a storage unit from them on monthly basis and it's top service. I have nothing to gain by these words I just feel if it's bad let it be known and if it's good let that be known as well.

Location was slightly difficult to find. My truck was ready. And the customer service I received was above what I expected. While there wasn’t a furniture dolly already in the truck as I requested. I didn’t need it. Customer service was A+. Got the truck in under 5 minutes about the same to return. Would recommend

They lost keys. The van was on empty. The van was so dirty you couldn’t see out of the windows. The staff failed to exit out my account when I returned the van, took them two hours.

He did not allow enough miles to reach my location from Bakersfield to Oceano. I was charged $21.00 dollars for miles. Not acceptable

The truck was really old and that back was not cleaned out. It drove extremely rough and there was barely gas in it. I was not happy at all with the fact that we get no free miles anymore though if that is now universal, it had nothing to do with this location. The gentleman that helped me was extremely friendly and explained everything well. I returned the truck but the place was closed, I put the key in the drop box.

When I picked the truck up it did not have the correct gas so I called one of the workers out so I can show her that there was less then 1\4 so she toke a picture and said I would get credit when I return the truck.When I returned the truck the young lady had left for the day.Wow

Uhaul requires customers to upload a picture of their license instead of an employee being able to manually input the info. Some customers may love this; I HATE it & it makes me hesitant to rent from Uhaul in the future. Even if the link worked, I would hate it, but I had to wait nearly 30 minutes while the employee tried to get the link to work on her phone because it would not work on mine. I honestly think she just said she got it to work because there was no way to override it, and my husband was not listed as a driver on our paperwork despite employee stating she finally got his license to upload. Way too much hassle. When I called Uhaul after returning vehicle to get clarification RE: charges after I'd extended the rental for a day, the 1st customer service rep had a bad attitude, kept talking over me as I tried explaining my question in a different way due to her not understanding me. I asked to speak w/another employee & that gentleman was helpful & satisfied my questions.

Was switched to this address for my drop off. Definitely not a safe area and even though I arrived in the middle of operating hours, no one was there. No one answered the phone, a couple of other people were waiting in their cars to get to their storage units. Uhaul tried to help and call but they got no answer as well.

Great experience I rented wrong truck they swapped me out the next day only paid Dailey fee . I have always used u haul and have spent thousands with you love U haul.
