kEVIN SGeocode the correct address of this location in the uhaul system.. It's on 5th st in Corbin Ky, yet the app kept saying the location was in colarado, and would not let me checkin. After disconnected chats, & phone calls, one hour and 15 minutes later I was finally able to get the truck. Upon return of the truck the app went through the process of taking all the pics, then at the very end, made me start all over. Another 20 minutes wasted. If you're going to rent from here, do it in person.
Danny WThe location was fine, the truck was new and ran great. The only issue, which was not detrimental to the trip, but was very annoying is the Onstar kept calling every few minutes during the trip from KY to SC. I am not sure why, and the few times I tried to get it fixed nothing worked. It made for a long drive hearing the chime every few minutes, then I had to wait for an operator to get the call over. By the end of the trip, It was like nails on a chalk board every time it chimed in. It really made it feel like the longest trip ever. Hopefully somebody see this and gets that fixed for the next person.
Kevin SI requested this rental a week in advance for the Williamsburg location. The day before pickup I was told I would have to go to a location further away on Alsip Street in Corbin and would have to pick up a day early. I leave work to rush over before they close. Noone is there and there is no trailer.. so I call the number on the signs with no answer. I then call UHaul and then get a call from the guy saying I have to go to yet another location on 18th street. It was a hassle to deal with the people because they never answer and never seem to be at the lots. They had to send a guy over because no one was at the 18th street location either. Then I was told I couldn't drop the trailer off at a UHaul location closer to me when finished with it. I had to drive it back to the same lot. After this much trouble and hours of headache and missed work for something I requested a week earlier I would rent from someone else if possible.

Patricia CFrom start to finish, the entire experience with this location was top-notch. The owner reached out to me personally to confirm drop-off of our rental equipment, and due to unforeseen or extenuating circumstances, he extended our rental out 2 extra days at no additional charge whatsoever. He even came to us to retrieve the rental because the parking and lot access was a bit tight, and we had moved into the subdivision right next door. We had a great conversation on the phone and in person, and we completed the transaction feeling like valued customers. THIS end of the rental was exemplary in the customer service department. Quite a noticeable difference from the pickup experience.

Sean MI had requested to get a appliance dolly and there wasn't one. There was no blanket or straps in the U-Haul so I had to buy a dolly at Lowe's which cost me $170 because I couldn't get one. The truck was nice and clean but it would have been nice to have the dolly and straps and blanket in the truck for my thing
linda bThere was nobody at this location. They told us to pull up to the locked gate and drop off the key and paperwork and lock the truck. We did this and have not received email that everything was OK.
Bruno hI don’t think Ron could have done anything better to help me with my needs. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and I had what I needed to move my daughter home from college in a matter of hours. He is absolutely Wonderful and so helpful and pleasant. I would like to say Uhaul is lucky to have him providing this service. Thank you. And Ron Bubba Bowling is an amazing person.

Stan AI made a reservation 3 weeks in advance expecting to have a truck waiting for me the day of my mover they changed my location for pickup the day before to 30 miles away in the opposite direction of my move, where do I start I arrived at the location for pick up no one ever showed up I call customer service they send me 15 miles out of my way to a different location well no one is there to help either call. Customer service again they have a truck but I can’t get it there so they send me back another 15 miles to the first location wait , wait what ok here I go again . This guy shows up Uhaul never notified anyone I was coming for a truck the owner showed be the text where Uhaul had notified him of the rental at 10:15 that morning I was supposed to get my truck at 9: am I got the truck at 12pm they overcharged me 83 dollars no one refunded me that money . I take the truck finally well it broke down here we go call again so on top of not having my reservation giving me a truck late it breaks down call the guy again I live 30 miles from the location he meets me to give me a new truck I get the new truck. They let me rent a car hauler at no extra charge well I get to my house load the car to head on a 16 hr trip to Florida and the car hauler has the belts cut off to where I can’t even tie my car down Wow this is the worst experience ever I will never use you again and I will make sure no one I know uses your services. All this with a 16 month old baby and a 8 yr old little girl . There are several pages a documentation on their system this is truly worthy of a movie. Talked to field manager Ron Cox in Middlesboro KY contract numbers 22206399 and 87922325 I missed a days work over this 220.00 plus all the time , money we was out for this move due to peoples incompetence. The stress this put on our family is incredible we only had 4 days to move and Uhaul screw it up costed me so much. And I have pictures to prove my case and plenty of electronic notes.

I was sent to four different places and finally one very kind local dealer called someone regional and got the reservation straightened out. It made the start of a stressful moving experience even more stressful!

Jim KThe location for pickup was great, very nice guy and in and out. I think the process for scheduling and avalibilty should be revamped. I didn't know if I was going to have to drive an hour past where I was picking up my car until Sunday and I called on thursday I think.Having the equipment where I wanted it to be would have been awesome but drove 40min out of my way to get it. In a service business when it supply and demand there should be a way to have the equipment at one of the locations that they choose not the supplier. Your online system should add that feature to see who has what equipment and then schedule it them selves online. I use you guys for work and home and it seems to be the common theme with you guys. Hope that helps?
michael pI rented a 5' x9' motorcycle trailer. Pulled great. But the trailer didn't have marker lights for the sides. After dark was hard to see the trailer in the mirrors had to use brake lights a few times

Gina MI can not say enough good things about this location. On a weekend where trucks were in very short supply, Mr. Bowling worked tirelessly for several hours to secure a truck, and met us at a different location with the keys to make sure we had it for our move. Very highly recommended!
