Very professional.
VERONICA WVery friendly and competent staff at the Buddy Isles location. From front-desk reception to paperwork processing to the employee who safely hooked up the trailer to my vehicle, the experience was a pleasure and confidence-inspiring. Well done, Buddy Isles staff! I will definitely rent from here again.
ROARK WAccording to the counter representative, the unit had been checked out by U-Haul representative however, one taillight was not working so I had to purchase a set of magnetic lights to mount on the vehicle in tow. When I got the unit to my home to load the vehicle, I notice that one tire was flatter than the other. When I check the pressure, one tire was at 55 lbs. and the other was 32 lbs. I put air into the tire to bring it to 55 lbs. I don't know who the U-Haul representative was that check out this unit before my rental, but they did not do their job in my opinion.

Sherry WLevel out the lot where the trailers are parked. When you pick up the tongue of the trailer it rolled forward and you have to catch it before you dent the back of your truck or I almost got my finger smashed. Not expecting the roll forward.

ERWINBRADFORD JThis place is not open on Sat or Sun, so I was told that I had to pick up the trailer by 2:30pm on Fri. They said there was no flexibility with the time. If I could not get there by 2:30 on Fri, I could not get the auto Hauler until Monday. They are in NC and I was driving from TX! I drove 18 hrs, so I could meet their Fri timeline … I’m 78 yrs old … none of that mattered enough to Buddy Isles Tire and Automotive. Then, I was told that I had 5 days to turn in the trailer and nothing would be charged on my card until I returned the trailer to the appropriate dealer … AND, if I turned it in sooner, I would not be charged for any full 24 hr day that the trailer was turned in earlier than the 5 days. Upon returning the trailer more than a full 24 hr period, I was told by the receiving dealer that there could not be any reduction of cost because you have 5 days to “use” the trailer before turning it in to another dealer … it is not a daily rental fee, just a destination fee with 5 days to complete the trip. That makes sense, so I have no idea why Buddy Isles Tire & Automotive told me that I would not be charged for the full 5 days since it was certainly NOT TRUE. Disappointing, to say the least!

Luin EThe original location was 178 Lizard Creek Road, but for some reason, that drop-off location was not available on the app and we kept getting error messages. Since the place is closed on weekends, we made multiple calls to UHaul customer service and they could not figure it out as well. Finally after two days of trying, when they re-opened, they said they don't take trailers anymore. That would have been good information prior to dropping it off. I had to reattach the trailer and drop it off at a locattion minutes away. That location's staff was very friendly and helpful - kudos to them. There should be a note in the system detailing limitations at the drop off location.

Michael HThe inside of the trailer had what looked like oil on the floor. They were kind to offer us moving blankets free of charge to put down in the floor so our things would stay clean.
Earl RThe lights cord was not on connected to the trailer. Had to get one from trailer next to it. The big bolt was not screwed in tight enough to keep trailer from coming loose from the truck hitch. Therefore, on the way back home, sure enough, the trailer separated from the hitch while traveling back home. It took two guys to do what they could to tighten the big round knob until arriving home to find something to tighten it with.
DAISY HOnly issue I had, was that the mileage on the truck had not been correctly updated when I picked it up, so it appeared that I drove more miles than I actually did. Fortunately Alyssa was great in working it out - we calculated the actual mileage I did drive, and she adjusted the cost to reflect the actual mileage we calculated.
Robert TThese folks are awesome to work with. They will process your needs quickly and have you on the way. Friendly and kind just begins to describe the young lady that has assisted me on a couple of occasions. Highly recommend them!!!!

William STwo suggestions Website is NOT user friendly. Need a jack on tongue of trailers. To heavy for some to lift up to put on hitch. May want to make it easier for agents to rent the products

Timothy mWalked into store and the gentleman said the truck I was suppose to rent was "supposed" to be dropped off 2 days earlier and was not on site. He called the customer who said they would still need the truck until the following day. The site also didn't have the equipment I had ordered.
JULIAN MThe lady has a gross mouth!!! She don’t know how to talk, she need to go back to school. She don’t know how to treat costumer neither employees. She did not talk in a professional way.
EDITH BUhaul changed the pickup location one hour before scheduled pickup time. I was supposed to have received a call the night prior that never happened. You need to provide more than one hour notice of a pickup location change.
WATER BI had trouble disconnecting from the trailer because of the weight of the tongue and no jack on it. I had to ask someone to help me and it was still very hard to lift off of my hitch.

ROBERT CEvery small town neighborhood dealer has been a pleasure to work with... I wish I could say the same about the locations in the large cities... But I can't....Richmond, Va. to be exact.. I had to fly there to pick up a truck.... I had a reservation 20 days in advance.. The day before my flight, Richmond Traffic (the Uhaul dispatch) still had not contacted me to tell me which Richmond location to pick up my truck... Luckily for me, I had a friend who could pick me up and drive me to North Carolina where I had spoken to the excellent employees at Buddy Isles Uhaul Center and a truck was ready for me there when I needed it...
