Easy to drop off!
Amber HAleks was just simple to work with, no fuss, I was in and out in less than 5 mins. Probably the most smooth Uhaul experience.
RYAN CQuick and efficient. Helped me as he was helping another customer on a different matter. He knew my transaction would be quick.
RICHARD AAlex is wonderful, prompt and courteous and the trailer was clean however not well maintained. I must say this is my absolute worst experience with U-Haul... the trailer shook so violently between 15-35mph I thought it would tear off my hitch. I had to accelerate and decelerate more quickly than usual to avoid the shaking and some of my cargo was slightly damaged. This trailer needs immediate attention to prevent further damage to others property that may rent it. It does tow ok once over 45mph but it still shakes somewhat even at that speed but not as severely.
PATRICK MI would also recommend the St Charles location on 9th. West Chicago thought the blankets and dolly were in the back of the truck but they weren't and I was able to pick them up in St Charles which was closer to my house, rather than driving back to West Chicago.

ALEKSANDR STruck had 44 miles to empty worth of gas when I picked up. Guys couldn't find keys. Didn't have pads ready finally brought a pile of wadded up blankets out. Returned truck had no interest in closing me out. Told me I will get an email.
EDWARD BNo wiper fluid. Customer service did not know how the rental process works. Truck was on empty when picked up.

TOBY BI was a bit confused upon arrival of steps necessary for self-checkout. Not sure if I did everything correctly. It was easy to find and the lot had adequate space to back the trailer into its original location upon return.
Scott MIt was very confusing on what to do from the app. There was no one at the location when we first got there. Eventually someone came to give us the keys, but if an older person or someone not tech-savvy was trying to get a uhaul after hours, it would have been very difficult. The truck was on empty when we got it, though I understand we just return it how it was, it should be like a rental car and we should recieve it with a full tank.
Haley J. The auto trailer I rented was fine except for one thing. After driving to Louisville from Chicago Friday night. Saturday morning I had loaded the car onto the trailer. I strapped and ratcheted the right wheel in place. Went over to strap the left wheel. The strap was way too short. Looked like someone broke the strap and did not tell the Uhaul rep at my home location. The wheel strap would not come even close to the ratchet. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a 3,333lb rated ratchet strap and secure the left front wheel to the trailer. Luckily I haul heavy equipment and know how to properly secure loads. So for me. Not a big deal except having to waste an extra hour of my day going to Home Dept and $15 for a ratchet strap. A bit annoying no doubt.
JOSEPH MMake sure the person who is on duty helps with unhitching the trailer on its return. We had to unhitch it ourselves, and a 6'x12' trailer is pretty heavy for 2 people in their 60s to lift and move.
JOANNE HThey had dogs locked inside the building at the drop box location behind the building that were growling, barking, and scratching at the door at us. I just felt bad for the dogs, but the neighborhood was pretty sketchy.
Paul RThis is not a comment on the location but on how I got to the point where I had to use this location. Two days before my rental date, I received an email saying that my original rental location was all set for me to pick up my desired truck. However, one day after that, approximately 20 hours before my rental started, I was told that my desired pick-up location (which was only 10 minutes away from me at the time) no longer had the truck I needed and instead I had to use this location (which was 40 minutes away). This change up threw a wrench into my initial moving plans only 20 hours before I was supposed to move. Luckily, I talked with an accommodating representative who allowed me to change my pick-up time to fit my schedule better at no additional cost, but this was after waiting for over an hour on hold, which affected my arrival time at the pick-up location after-hours. While the representative was also able to compensate for the added mileage, nothing was mentioned about the added cost of gas (in both my car and the truck). To top it off, my truck was at a little less than a quarter tank once I had arrived and smelled of old cigarettes. Overall, this is possibly one of the worst experiences I've had in my years of moving and I am severely disappointed in the lack of preparedness on the half of U-Haul.

JULIe OTruck had 1/2 tank of fuel and when I stopped to fill up I could not put fuel in the truck.
MICHAEL PMy order included furniture blankets which the vendor did not have. Had to find a location that could supply them. Cargo space was not clean. Broken eggs and a strong chemical/fish odor. (Have pictures) Had to washed it out with simple green followed up with a bleach solution. Aired it out overnight. The odor was reduced but not gone.
Stefan DThe truck was issued to me with only 1/8 of a tank of fuel and I was not given a physical receipt. The location itself was changed less than 48 hours before my appointment from the one I originally chose and was decidedly inconvenient. If the truck size I wanted was not going to be available at my chosen location, I should have been informed of that at the time of booking, a week before - this put an additional stress on an already stressful day. This is a problem with the U-Haul booking system in general, and not an issue with this particular location.
Matthew HPickup location changed several times. Then, final email info sent to me with reservation did not match business location hours. (Email said pickup @ 8 am, but store did not open until 10 am. ) No follow up voicemail, text or email to inform. This required 2 trips and loss of packing day. Very frustrating. Service, once I got to the store resolved issues reasonably.
John PThe trailer had lights out and the guy who worked at the location didn't seem to care at all. Plus u haul said they would send a mechanic to fix the lights and nobody ever showed up. causing us to illegally pull the trailer without all the functioning lights at night time

Sandra HThe person who took my license and credit card did not review my invoice which in turned he added a charge of $32 for safe tow. He was not very professional and did not same anything besides processing the information. In addition, when I turn in the cargo trailer his dog snapped at me. I do not believe that a retail store should have dogs wondering around when clients comes. When I contact him after I reviewed my email after I dropped off the trailed he stated that we had to contact at 630.405.7455
Joseph DU-Haul’s orporate coordination and website need major improvement. Individual sites were pleasant and highly helpful to work with, including the ones I was sent to by corporate in error.

Brian FWhere do I begin. Two days prior to my reservation my pick up location changed. When I picked up the truck the attendant did not check my ID nor any card. He just gave me the keys and said it's the only one out there your good to go. Once I start the truck I notice it's on absolute empty, 40 miles to e and the gas lights on. I go talk to the attendant and confirm the gas level is documented. He assured me it was. I then proceed to a gas station and put 120 in gas. I then get notice my drop off location changed and I am no being charged over a 100 dollars more than my reserved price. My experience was a nightmare and I will never be using your company again or suggesting it. Horrible experience
Joseph KThe truck was clean, but the maintenance of the truck was sub par. The right front tire was wearing badly and not aligned causing the truck to pull the entire drive. A couple hours down the road we stopped at a truck stop and the tire needed 10 lbs of air.
Karen RNot park the trailers in the mud. Did a walk around and sank in the mud and covered my shoes and got wet feet
