Place is gross. And they misread the fuel gauge, leading to a fuel charge that had to be removed by customer service.
MICHAEL PThere were some unforeseeable issues that the staff at the counter handled very well, and they took the time to make sure I understood the process and was prepared to check my truck in at a facility that would be closed at the time. 10/10.
Jared HOwner had a employee call out, so no one was there to give me keys. Had to wait 1.5 hours for owner to come from other location. Dolly was not in truck as requested/purchased
Zachary VWhen my mileage was submitted it was wrong on the app. In the end I was charged for 15 miles I didn't drive. I took photos as was prescribed but the app did not recognize the photo. I was told I would have a follow up, but no one has contacted me.
John BThis was the worst vehicle rental I've ever experienced. I 've used u-haul in the past, from the former Hadley location near U Mass, and from the Northampton location. This time, I booked my van rental at the Northampton store. U-haul told me to pick it up at this new Hadley location, Budget Rental. It took me an hour and 45 minutes to get going because the employee there could not get the program to work, did not seem familiar with it, and had trouble filling out the blanks with the times and dates I wanted. He had to call for help multiple times. The shop owner was supposed to come in 10 minutes but he never came. Later I got a missed phone call from him, after I was finally on the road. The van was two houses away from the store and I had to walk back multiple times to ask questions and get all the phone check-ins working, and for help with the vehicle. I mentioned that in the past someone always walked through it with me and he said, "We don't do that here". The van itself was excellent, but the process really was aggravating and delayed my move by almost two hours.
BETH SIt looked like a junk yard. And there was a car parked horizontally blocking where all the other Uhaul Vans were parked. If there weren’t the few other Uhaul equipment, I would have never known this was a drop off spot. Given the car was in the way, I just dropped off in that vicinity of the junk yard. There was nobody there to assist with moving the car that was blocking the parking area. Not a great look for uhaul.
Frances LI waited almost 2 hrs before I was able to leave with my truck. I got there and no key was available . Had to wait for owner to arrive. The owner was very nice. I wouldn’t book back at this location though.

Andrew MIt was very tight trying to get the truck into the parking space. Too many broken cars and such to navigate around.

Maura MNot the fault of the pick up location, but after loading up the truck, and starting to drive, the A/C in the truck did not work. This made for a very hot and uncomfortable drive.
John RPerform some matenance on your equipment so it is safe on highway. Breaks not working and wheel straps so rusted they bearly working. 1000 miles of white knuckles :(
Daniel LThe place was...not the cleanest establishment, but the people who worked there were kind and friendly, and they made dropoff easy.
Kyan ADrop off was very confusing and I was unable to check out on time due to this. The app dod not load check out instructions and simply said to drop keys off. I did so and then left and received a late fee which feels extremely unfair. I would not recommend this location due to this confusion that fell on me to pay for.
Anna MAgain tried the app. Had to reload 5 times to get it to process return.
Scott BI refilled the gas tank to where it was and have picture to confirm this. I showed them to guy at drop off who said I owe $11 in gas. He agreed but said there was nothing he could do because the gas justice been recorded as more than it had at the last drop off (before I picked up). I feel this is probably an honest mistake and I want my $11 back.
jack fI would recommend the place to someone because the guy that helped me in the morning with the rental was kind and very helpful. I think his name was Eric, I could be wrong but he was great! However, when I turned the keys back the same day I received a call that it wasn't checked back in, but the situation was rectified. The prices are a bit expensive, you should have a truck rental with unlimited miles for a flat rate within a 24 hour period. Home depot does that.
PHAEDRA DIt was sort of an out of the way low key location, but staff were very nice and figured it out the issue I had with the truck right away. The dropoff location had very nice, responsive staff.
