The truck I got was filthy. There were used tissues in the cup holder and dirt and debris all over the floor inside the cab and the back of the truck. I had to clean that out myself, so I wldnt be charged for the truck being so dirty.Cynthia B.
The truck was dirty inside had to clean out the trash and smelled like cigarettes Ashes in the cab from someone smoking in the cab on the prior rental The truck was complete empty on gas when I picked it up was only showing eight miles to empty Was given a $22.00 credit for the gasGLEN A.
The equipment had major issues which cost us extra in gas. The vehicle was sluggish, the check engine light came on and rpm revved when the brakes was stepped on. We had to stop 2.5 hrs in to our journey and wait over an hour for aa Uhaul service tech to come out. If I remember correctly the tech said it was a cylinder misfire; cleared the check engine light and sent us on our way. To our dismay we continued to have issues and basically willed the vehicle to make it to our destination. Based on your website a 20ft truck should go approx 400 miles on a full tank of gas; our journey was approx 484 miles and we had to add gas 3 times to the equipment. This situation should not be acceptable and Uhaul put my family at risk by giving us an unsafe vehicle to drive.ROLAND S.
Everything with the truck was great, but we had reserved and paid online for a dozen blankets (furniture â€œpadsâ€), but on the day the employee said she didn't have any, then went looking for some to give us. She eventually provided them, but when we got home they were both dirty and damp.William C.

First and foremost, I spent 45 minutes attempting to check-in online. I never did successfully do that. It was one issue after another. And finally it timed out. I ended up checking in at the counter inside the location. This caused me to waste over an hour of time which I did not have to spare. Because of this lost time, I was not able to attend the swearing in ceremony for my brother as mayor of my hometown. This was a special event, once in a lifetime and what should/could have been an easy process turned into a nightmare. That is the only issue I had with U-Haul. It was a major issue.Jeffery A.

The air conditioning in the uhaul didn't work properly. I drove 370miles in Georgia in August with poor air conditioning. The cabin was dirty and smelly when I picked up the truck, and had ants in it. Overall not a great experience.David K.

The van was semi-clean - there was a McDonalds cup and some receipts behind the drivers seat, found someone's cell phone beside the driver seat which was turned into this office in hopes they can find the owner and noticed some little toys under near passenger seat.William S.

My displeasure had nothing to do with your agent, she was kind, responsive and thought quickly to resolve my concern. I rented a 15 foot truck only to get to the pick up point, load and not be able to close the defective tailgate door. I then had to unload and go back to the rental center. I was credited and ended up with a van and went to move smaller stuff I had in storage and having to make arrangements to have my other stuff brought to me. Maybe an inspection would have determined this issue with the truck.Cedric B.

I was there at 9am and I was the first customer there. The lady told me that my truck needed to be checked in so she proceeded to help another customer who's truck was ready. After she finished with that customer she was getting ready to help another customer and I told her I have been here since 9am so before you help the customer with his truck you need to check mine in so I can leave. She said the computer was down that's why it was taking so long I didn't get my truck until 9:51am which was about an hour later. I returned the truck at 12:38 am Sunday morning at the location. I put the keys in the drop box before I was able to go online and not be charged the $20 fee. I called U-Haul about 1am and spoke with Isaac and he told me he would make note of the time that I had dropped off and for me to call the facility Monday morning. I was charged $20 fee and I called the facility at 9:06 left a message for someone to call me and I haven't received a call. I called three more times and haven't received any calls yet. I am asking to refund my $20 fee because I shouldn't have been charged after I called U-Haul and Isaac documented that I did. I will never and I mean never use there service again nor will I recommend anyoneAndre M.

I would not use this Uhaul location! The place seems to never have anyone in the office during the week. Sign on front door - No in Office. I had a Saturday afternoon online pickup because they were closed. The lady at this location that took my reservation on Friday did not enter my correct email address into the Uhaul system. I could not check in on line because she entered the wrong email address. After correcting that error with Uhaul online support, I was able to login to Uhaul. After checking-in using the Uhaul website, the key for the rental truck was not in the after hours lock box. Uhaul had me open all three lock boxes. I found a key in box 3. It was not for the truck I was suppose to rent. The online Uhaul representative told me to put it back and she would contact someone to come and give me the correct key. I told her I would take the truck that I had the key for and the next renter could take the truck I was suppose to get. After some discussion, the Uhaul online representative gave me the truck that I had a key for and I left Uhaul. When I returned the truck Uhaul tried to overcharge me. I refuted the charge and the amount was adjusted. ($238.00 vs $170.00) Do not use this location! The truck had over 103,000 miles, windshield cracks, broken mirror, and damage on sides. I was concerned that I would be suspected of causing the damage, so, I photographed it from the front to the back and video taped its condition.Randy U.

The representative was helpful, but the truck was dirty inside and out. There was trash in the cab floor, and the cargo area had not been swept. The truck made a popping noise during turns.William W.

The truck inside was cleaned out but filled with roaches and horrible stench smell. I'm assuming from the prior person who rented the truck. I learned a lesson to take bug spray with me next time I rent a truck. Now the bugs/roaches got in my furniture and I have to have my house treated professionally !Lisa B.
