The drop off site closes far too early. No one using a truck will be able to drive and then return a truck by 5 pm. Make locations that rent out trucks stay open until 7 or 8 like full u-haul locations.Eric R.

I reserved a 15' truck - but they gave me a 20' truck - calling it an "upgrade for the same price". A 20' truck is WORSE than a 15' truck because it is larger and more difficult to drive. Do not take a reservation if you cannot fulfill it accurately.William B.

Don't charge them a fuel charge when they return the truck with more fuel than was in it originally. I spent 240.00 in fuel during my trip in this truck. Then I got charged 16.00 for fuel when I put more in it than I had to begin my trip. My trip for just a couple days cost me 740.00. RidiculousAngela M.

Their system was down so they couldn't do anything I drove 40 million to this location and waited 2 hours before I returned home and they also gave away the unit I reserved which was a huge inconvenience. I found another facility to store my things and when I took the truck back they charged me for extra mileage when I have to drive there and back twice which was their fault had their system been working and they didn't give away the storage I reserved! I've used uhaul many times but I'll never after this!Malachi T.

The 24/7 online return. The website would not work so we could not upload pics of evidence or anything. After a 36hr day of moving, it really sucked to have to be on wait for 40 mins with customer service. We were so exhausted we hung up and left.Sarah M.

When I rented the truck there was no hand truck in the back to accommodate me during my moving to help make my removing of the cargo off the back of the truck it was very difficult in handling my furniture that was very heavy to maneuver from the truck to my apartment which is on the second floorCHRISTOPHER F.

The Agent on duty is a good multitasker who displays a good attitude with great customer service and customer care. She was simply outstanding! Put in no smoking signs and check tire pressures more frequently. My vehicle smelled. Tire was low so put air in it but the tire pressures indicator was still on. The technician who recently changed oil should've notice to correct as part of overall vehicle safety.KELVIN S.

The business was closed so we never saw the place or talked to anyone. BUT, the uhaul app to return my rental was a pain in the butt. It took us over 30 minutes to finally get to the part where we had to take the pictures of everything on the truck and our location. You need to improve the app to be more user friendly.Kim G.

This was the first time I have ever rented a Van and I was extremely pleased with it. It was easy to drive and it was large enough to hold the majority of items in my son's 1-bedroom apartment. The agents on duty when I made my reservation, picked up the van, and returned the van were each very friendly and professional. The entire process was easy and fast. I chose the smartphone pick up option and I suggest one thing Please put the approval process during the same time period as the checkout process. I drove 15 minutes to pick up the truck and then had to wait while I uploaded my photo and driver license this should have been done as I was checking out in my opinion. If this process is done up front the only part that we have been left it was to get a code once I was on location which is fine but that would have took less than 5 minutesIvan H.

i had roaches in the truck i had to balm and spray and mop b4 i could load up my stuff. I called and talk young lady at off and she apologized and said she was gonna take off for 2 day rental but i was still charged full price... not cool.. i had to s po end $20 on balms and spray and had to sweep and mop out after...ALFRED B.

The truck I got was filthy. There were used tissues in the cup holder and dirt and debris all over the floor inside the cab and the back of the truck. I had to clean that out myself, so I wldnt be charged for the truck being so dirty.Cynthia B.
The truck was dirty inside had to clean out the trash and smelled like cigarettes Ashes in the cab from someone smoking in the cab on the prior rental The truck was complete empty on gas when I picked it up was only showing eight miles to empty Was given a $22.00 credit for the gasGLEN A.
The equipment had major issues which cost us extra in gas. The vehicle was sluggish, the check engine light came on and rpm revved when the brakes was stepped on. We had to stop 2.5 hrs in to our journey and wait over an hour for aa Uhaul service tech to come out. If I remember correctly the tech said it was a cylinder misfire; cleared the check engine light and sent us on our way. To our dismay we continued to have issues and basically willed the vehicle to make it to our destination. Based on your website a 20ft truck should go approx 400 miles on a full tank of gas; our journey was approx 484 miles and we had to add gas 3 times to the equipment. This situation should not be acceptable and Uhaul put my family at risk by giving us an unsafe vehicle to drive.ROLAND S.
Everything with the truck was great, but we had reserved and paid online for a dozen blankets (furniture â€œpadsâ€), but on the day the employee said she didn't have any, then went looking for some to give us. She eventually provided them, but when we got home they were both dirty and damp.William C.

First and foremost, I spent 45 minutes attempting to check-in online. I never did successfully do that. It was one issue after another. And finally it timed out. I ended up checking in at the counter inside the location. This caused me to waste over an hour of time which I did not have to spare. Because of this lost time, I was not able to attend the swearing in ceremony for my brother as mayor of my hometown. This was a special event, once in a lifetime and what should/could have been an easy process turned into a nightmare. That is the only issue I had with U-Haul. It was a major issue.Jeffery A.
