The building was hard to find. When I called to see where the building was, the woman working the counter said she had no idea where the key for the truck was and asked me if I was sure that I rented it because she didn't see my order. I finally found the store, went in and the woman was beyond rude and disrespectful. She said "You're the person from the phone" I responded by saying yes and she laughed and responded with, "I figured" as if I wasn't going to come in and try to use the vehicle that I rented. She walks outside without saying a word, checks the key drop box and found the key. I was as respectful as possible when completing the rest of the form even though she was extremely rude. Then once I returned home and began to load the truck I waited on the phone trying to reach customer service and after 55 minutes of no response I hung up the phone. I am very dissatisfied with this location and how I was treatedBrandon H.

Sue @ Budget was very, very nice. I originally had my reservation at the Whitehall Store and since I was there to rent a storage unit and saw that they had a U-haul, I had asked if I could switch my reservation. Sue was very happy and helpful in doing this. She had call the Call Center or somewhere and S/W Rose who was very nasty and rude. What did she give to you? I didn't have my paperwork on me since I wasn't sure I was going to get one there. I could have pulled it up on my phone which was in the car. She could have looked it up by my name or phone number. It's people like that who so shouldn't be working in customer service and why people shop/go elsewhere. Sue gets a 10 in my book and Rose a 0. Hope this helps. You can feel free to call me.TERA O.

I ordered a dolly which they didn't have when I picked up the truck. Also. The drivers seat was jammed in the full forward position. Waisted time having them moving it back. This isn't that hard. U-haul should have this mastered by now. You added to the tension of the days move.MICHAEL T.
The clerk was professional, but the location is in the back alley and hard to find. The equipment that I asked for was not available. Out of all places, the scheduler had me pick up the vehicle here. Poor decision on their part. I will be reluctant to have uhaul as a moving provider in the future.Sisomfong L.

Manager, S, was appropriately helpful. Capable. She apologized about the situation. Vehicle was dirty Smell of what S and I believe to be cat urine was extremely strong. Staff loading furniture noticed and wondered why I drove it. Only vehicle available. With windows open it still caused my eyes and throat to be irritated... Alcohol found in cab... There were issues establishing the correct location for pickup. Once there: office smelled like marijuana, staff was rude, staff didn't know computer system, staff expected me to haul dolly and furniture pads to truck, staff eventually took equipment to truck (grumbling & possibly swearing the whole way), staff shorted us on furniture pads (but didn't fix contract), truck had garbage in the back, cab of truck was covered in dust & reeked of smoke (even though truck was relatively new with approx 20k miles).laurie T.

The fuel tank was claimed full at pickup. I drove 23 miles, then topped the tank with over 4 gallons, costing me $12. Either the cargo van only gets 6 miles/gallon (unlikely), or the tank was not really full at pickup (more likely). The gauge barely at 'F' is not really full. Of course, I received no credit for my fuel donation.Edward S.

the back of the cargo van was dirty and I am greatfulle the mattreses i picked up were in their new plastic seal. but besides from that all was great and the van drove nicelly, the actual passanger and driver area where clean and just a nice looking and nice ride that with the excellent customer service makes all worth it.Gwendolyn G.

Atleast on a snowy day, there should be some equipment should be kept inside the van to clean up the snow, i had reallly bad experience to clean the vehicle with out the snow scrapper and De-Icer.RAKESH V.
The location was really far from where I was renting a storage unit from East Penn and I was forced to pay mileage that I feel I should not have. I will think twice about renting and storing with East Penn again. And this is my third time renting with them and I have always been satisfied in the past. I also reserved 10 moving blankets and they were not available and I now have damaged furniture. The tire pressure light was also on the entire time I had the moving van. All in all not a pleasurable experience, this time.Phyllis M.
This is a poor location that needs to have improved lighting at night so it can be safely and easily accessible. Also, the personnel who computed the final invoice should be more professional and understanding in determining the final charges. Permission was obtained to drop off a one day van rental at this location and no one was in the office at 5 pm on a Saturday (same day rental) to accept the vehicle so the key and contract was dropped into the drop off box as directed by the posted instructions on the door. A final email invoice was received on the following Tuesday listing charges for 3 days rental at a much higher rate. Customers need to be treated fairly if U-Haul wants them to come back.Ron D.
