Easy process to rent the storage unit. Easy process to end service as well. I didn’t lock my unit correctly once and they called to let me know. Phenomenal service! Definitely recommend for your storage needs.

Marshall A | Overall ExperienceMy go to U-Haul dealer, Angel at Chuck's Auto Repair on Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, is really an angel.When I moved here from NJ to PA I needed a vehicle to move some remaining items here to PA. She had one on the lot and set me up with it. She was wonderful with communicating to me everything, especially since it was the weekend. She went out of her way to accommodate me. That brings me to this most recent rental. Angel didn't have a van that suited my needs, but found a dealer that did. She set up the rental, and I picked up the van. That went flawless as well, with both agents being kind and helpful. Thanks for making the rental seamless. The only thing that may need improvement is the software that finds your location when the vehicle is being returned. Although my phone was set to allow location finding, it didn't work. After a few tries I just parked the van and dropped off the keys in the box. Other than that everything went smoothly.
RICHARD HI will never rent from Uhal again. They advertise that they are 24 hours. Good luck if you end up renting after hours. Months ago I rented after hours and nothing went right with the app. I thought it was me. My first time using the app and wasn't familiar. This very last time that I will ever deal with this company all together once again there app had nothing but problems it took about 5 hours for me to check out the van I reserved. During that time I had four guys with two trucks waiting at my house ready to move me out. So not only did this app waste my time it cost me a lot of money because of those four guys still need to take it compensated. And then I got to finally get to my location between8/9pm and had to move everything myself. Due to having to pay for the hold up. I recommend never using Uhal. They don't care about people time. I am still dealing with what that day caused the trickle down effect. I was setup to move out of my house weeks ago. Now it's almost the 1st and out of time. Uhal= major let down. Hope people see this and look for a different company.

MARY A | Overall ExperienceI wasn’t aware that I was unable to drop the van off at a different location. I’m the past, I had picked up at one location and dropped off at another and was hoping to do that with this van as well. This added unnecessary miles to my trip.
Casey FPick up location was great. However I tried to return on the app and it did not work, if I did not use the app I got charged another $20, pretty convenient for them it doesn't work and I didn't have a choice. (note it was an after hours return so no one was available to help in person or on phone)

Morris SWhen I previously rented a uhaul from this location a few months ago I had no issues with renting and returning. This time the lady had no idea what she was doing. Had my husband go out and check the gas and mileage when we rented it and returned it, pretty sure that’s her job she was on the phone it took atleast 45 minutes to rent a uhaul I needed for maybe an hour, I work 3rd shift so her not knowing what she was doing was very inconvenient when I returned the uhaul there was another woman trying to rent a uhaul and this lady was giving her the same pitch “she hates uhaul” she hasn’t done this in atleast 2years.” I’m so sorry this is taking so long. Meanwhile I’m waiting to return my uhaul I’m there for another atleast 30minutes while she’s clearly struggling to rent this other woman a uhaul and she told me to just leave the keys she would email me my contract receipt
Autumn RI received a confirmation to pick up the Uhaul in Pottstown which was selected and is closer to my home and then Uhaul randomly switches the pickup location to Gilbertsville without notifying me. This location was not convenient. I understand this happens all the time. The personnel at the Gilbertsvile location was very helpful.

Rick JI had a great experience storing my items at the Gilbertsville location. The only downfall is the Uhauls and where their parking location is. It can be a little tricky if people return on the weekend and park wrong. Alycia is wonderful and helpful! She definitely is a good employee that should be recognized. Thank you!

Rick JHorrible experience. We went to Jack's Mower in Parker Ford, PA to pick up truck--nobody there and no truck. U-Haul said they changed the pickup to Gilbertsville location which was 12 miles further away and NEVER INFORMED US of the change. They had no furniture blankets that we had paid for and our moving help was waiting and on the clock. We were charged for extra mileage which would not have incurred if original pickup location. Arrived over an hour late to move location. Poor and surly customer service. Will never use U-Haul again!!
CHARLES HThe lady who owns the trucks was fantastic to work with. However I’m very unhappy with Uhaul’s scheduling and overbooking. I had to wait over 2 hours for my truck to arrive from the previous customer. That really messed up the whole day and put us way behind!! Plus the fee was outrageous and I had no options to pick up and drop off at different locations which racked up the mileage unnecessarily.
Jen EThe light was on indicating it needs an oil change. We could not check our account because the verification code did not come through for several hours. We did not receive the receipt to our email and when we called U-Haul customer service to make sure our after hours return went through, we waited on hold for 55 minutes. Once someone answered, they were very nice and helpful.
Robert LThere was a rather sizeable amount of spider webs in the unit when we went to move out. Completely understandable though for an outdoor unit.
Codey B | Overall ExperienceThe storage manager never alerted us to a situation that it happened with our unit which led to us having a misunderstanding with the director of operations due to us calling the authorities which she had told them about the situation but not us. This led to us getting a warning about our hours being restricted for no reason which we didn't understand and then we later had another situation where my fiancé and I had fallen asleep accidentally inside our unit after a long night of re-organizing our stuff due to working third shift hours and recently losing our place of residence so we were trying to fit all her belongings inside of the unit and she found a sleeping called her director of operations and completely over exaggerated what was going on which lead us being restricted in what hours we could come to the facility which is why we chose to move out and found another storage facility with a bigger unit better hours nicer stuff and cheaper price. No I would not recommend this facility to any of my friends or family as the facility manager is not a nice woman at all and the Director of operations needs to learn how to better communicate with the clientele then to just take the facility managers word on anything during a book

David B | Overall ExperienceThe lady at the service desk was very nice. But they are over charging me for gas. Brought it back with the same amount of gas but they charge me $ 30 . For someone to put gas in it plus another $30. For gas. Plus it was exactly 60 miles one way and I drove exactly the same way back stopped to drop off my furniture which was already on the same route not any extra miles. Then went maybe 3Blocks up the road from the drop off location to put gas in it be I dropped it off. But it was an extra 5 miles. Doesn't make any sense plus other fees. Had the truck back in less then 4 hrs. Next time I'll rent from home depot. It would have been so much cheeper.. had to pick the truck up 10 miles in the opposite direction to pick up and 10 mi extra just to take it back

Joan CIf using the phone app make sure your location services is recognized because mine would not work even though I had it on. I had to get another person come with their phone to get logged in.
Peggy LThe system is poor. I was registered for a 15' truck in Feasterville, a 10' truck in Pottstown, and eventually procured a 9' cargo van in Gilbertsville. The customer service people were great, and helped immensely. Your system is awful. The app is poor as well. Do better.

Colt CHad to drive excessive miles to pick up 26’ truck & pay out of the pocket for gas for my personal vehicle & moving vehicle. Terrible that customer has to absorb this expense! No furniture pads with moving vehicle. Not a good experience. U-Haul needs to get their act together!

Lady running the location was rude on the phone (Gilbertsville) and anal - a real pain in the ass. She doesn't wear a mask even though it is mandated. I wouldn't recommend anyone dealing with the Gilbertsville location.
Vincent KCustomer service was terrible. Woman at front desk was more than unprofessional, she was rude. She did not explain anything. She was not helpful. She was on the phone while pointing to have me sign the agreement. Later for returning equipment, extra large uhaul parked blocking in parking space. Woman called me explaining that I blocked the gate and made her job more difficult, after the fact. She was more that insulting to me, using the term "why in gods name would.." I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place. Could not be more displeased.
Kelsey MThe vehicle was dirty and their were personal items left in the back of the U-Haul that I had to remove. The employee at the site was unaware of the Mobile pick up process and requested that I cancel and start all over again with her, which I did not do. This is the second time I have used the Mobile option to pick up a rental in the last few weeks, and it seems there is some confusion between the servicing locations and U-Haul. A lot of these locations do not have a place where folks can get access to the keys for the vehicles, so if no one is onsite 24/7 Mobile pick up should not be an option.

edwin rYou need to realize that not everyone owns a smart phone in order to collect the keys when they get to the spot to pick-up the U-Haul. we just received the registration number and not the code we needed to open box to get keys. also the next couple had the same problem we did. but the lady at the spot was very nice and got the situation completed and got us on our way.
