We were told we would have a 20 foot vehicle and when we received it, it had a 15 foot sign on the back door. We were given an excuse that "they" put the 15 foot doors on the 20 foot trucks? Either way it made transporting our goods very difficult and we had to use extra vehicles.

JEANINE SWhen picking up the truck, it's way too reliant on having a cell phone. The dealer did not check the gas gauge or mileage, either before or after I had used the truck.When I returned the truck, no one checked anything, and told me they were just the dealer, whatever that means. Next time I'll just fill out all the paperwork and skip the cell phone business.

Kenneth FThis location (Burlington Freeway Storage) was great - the two people working there were very helpful. I had placed a reservation at the Abby location and was supposed to use the 24/7 self-rent, but the U-Haul system was not working (tried several phones, several browsers, also loaded the U-Haul app - finally got 500 errors meaning the U-Haul server(s) were having issues). I did call the U-Haul main number, but the person there was unable to do anything to help. Looking online, it seems the self-rent / 24/7 thing has issues on the last day and first day of the month - maybe you should look into that

Catherine BThe truck needs some work. The drivers side door isn’t going to open one of these times. Sounds like there may be an exhaust manifold leak. The front end needs some attention. The radio worked great! The staff was amazing!!

Dana OI’ve used this location before and they always seem to have internet issues or some other issue that makes the process longer than it should be, but this time took the cake. It took longer than 30 min to check me in to pick up a van. This threw my whole day off and I had to cancel and reschedule mover’s because of this ridiculous delay. Here’s an idea, if you keep having internet issues, get a new provider or update your equipment. Absolutely do not recommend this location.
ANGELA MVan smelled as tho people had been living in it/urinating. U didn’t notice until u were in it and driving. There was an air freshener in van but it almost made smell worse. That’s only reason I didn’t evaluate as ‘excellent’. The staff was wonderful!

Kris KIt's the accommodations given by the franchise suck. My 1st dealings with uhaul they screwed up my reservation for a truck to where I wasn't able to move that day. I had to miss a day of work to get myself moved the following day. Then I got hosed by the hire a helper, no fault of uhaul but, I miss another day of work to complete my move. When returning to uhaul to give the truck back. I was 10 minutes after the office closed which caused me to try and do my return on my phone. My so called smartphone has been acting up so I can't get online. 20 minutes later I'm trying to reach someone by phone, supposedly that was going to take 40-50 minutes. Once I start driving to go back home, I'm finally able to get internet. But, at this point I've left without knowing I needed to take pictures..I took random shots of my car clock, I was supposed to take another picture of something, random shot. I'm now 40 minutes late filling out my report when I figure out I'm supposed to wash the vehicle!!!. It started raining, my broom wasn't helping, the facilities has hoses... I just moved, I don't so by the time all is said and done a $19.95 a day van turned into $200 for 6hrs and 10 minutes. Ridiculous! The place I rented from was fabulous...uhaul business practices. I'm sending you a raspberry noise your way

Roberto GThere should be an amount of gallons printed instead of just the fuel level? I put too much in and so now I’ve wasted 30 dollars on top of your already insane prices. The staff was wonderful, so I would say my overall experience was good. However, the gas process is ridiculous especially considering you already have to pay by the mile???

DIRK KThe computer was making mistakes and It ended up charging me five times. The person there was able to cancel out two of them but I still have two extra charges on my account. I returned the truck which was very small in the cab. Almost dangerous. My knees were up against the dashboard. I was certainly very upset when I brought it back. The lady there, Anastasia, seemed genuinely concerned and calmed Me down. She wrote done uhaul a number and told Me what I could do. I actually left there feeling I’d made a successful moving even though I had only made one trip instead of the three I had planned for. I would certainly hire her for management. She didn’t seem fazed one bit with a upset customer, who also was a 6’7” 300 pound man. So my thanks to this ordeal goes out to her.

The rental and moving project situation with the U-haul truck went very satisfactory and I was glad that got done in one day. Thank you, U-haul!

NORAH OThe location was fine. My review has nothing to do with the location. The staff AT THE LOCATION was friendly. The experience, however, was horrible!! I reserved a truck and was notified the night before that the pickup time and location was changed. I ended up having to drive an hour and a half to pick up the truck. We ended up having to rent a 2nd truck from a local vendor (Handy Andy) because we were paying movers who showed up at the scheduled time but because of YOUR COMPANY, we had no truck for them to load. We were originally scheduled to pick up in Kenmore, WA at 8am and ended up having our reservation time and location changed to Burlington, WA at 10:00am which with travel time and traffic ended up putting us behind by 3 hours!! (Hence us renting an additional truck so we weren't paying movers for 3 hours to do nothing). Horrible business practices by your company that put customers in this position.

David WThis is a general comment of the vehicle experience. Both of the personnel that helped were very kind and accommodating. I see U-Haul has put a lot of effort into MPG saving, with body skirts, aero corners, and the significantly annoying graph on the dashboard. Yet, one of the most effective gas saving devices, cruise control, would be more effective, and makes the trip easier for the customer. Second issue, that is potentially a real concern is the volume of noise in the cab. I am a retired Fire Captain exposed to sirens for more than 30 years, with hearing issues. But the wind noise around doors and windows is excessive. So excessive it was only white noise to try to add the radio. Soundproofing the cab would not only be more pleasant for the customer, but would be safer. A decibel reading at freeway speeds may be enlightening. Thank you for listening, Scott

Friendly, accommodating, professional, fair...the list of positives I experienced upon reservation, collection, and return of my UHaul is almost innumerable. I highly recommend this company. Also, I would like to add, that the business location is very close to two gas stations, so refilling fuel is easy, and doesn't add any additional miles to the balance due.
