The address listed on UHaul for this site is not accurate. We had to do an after-hours drop off and the exact address listed was not correct. The address that we finally determined should be: 8545 W Hwy 101 Frontage Rd., Savage MN. We drove about 3 miles out the the way by using the address that was provided only to find a dead-end road with nothing there.CHERYL K.

The owner of this business was a pleasure to work with, but this location is REALLY HARD to find. Please give the operator a larger sign and improve your mapping option in the app. One other point. We were redirected from a pick up site we chose that was much closer to our destination. The change added time and mileage. We were told it was because the truck was returned at this location. I realize these are franchise locations, but I feel U-Haul should be responsible for moving the trucks to the renter's chosen location. I don't think it is very customer friendly to pass the cost and hassle of the new location to the customer.Kristin B.

The issue was not the location, uhaul system with relevant specs rented a car hauler to us that was not up to the task. Our car bottomed out on the way up the ramp. Customer service, scheduling, refund process all bottom of the barrel low quality experience, all call center staff very rude. Will never rent from uhaul again.Joe M.

The drop off location was completely unacceptable. There was no signage, no Dropbox, and I was able to find a person by asking other business owners in the area. I finally found the owner and was able to hand off the keys to the truck. Completely unacceptable. This event captured a generally negative rental experience.john W.

Your whole scheduling process is bad. You sent me to a different location for pick up, changed my drop of location without notifying me. There were like 4 lots full of junk and a tiny parking lot out front. The instructions stated to "park the uhaul in the lot but don't block businesses or exits" - the only other place to park was in a FIRE LANE. Gerard went above and beyond when I rented a motorcycle trailer. He stayed open later (which allowed me to be with my young kids during a storm and tornado warning) and gave me advice on how to trailer my motorcycle. Very helpful and easy to work with! Thank you again!Nick C.
I thought everything was great. The only thing is I had originally reserved the trailer in Shakopee location and then was informed it was overbooked and ended up at a different location. So don't overbook your rentals.Jeff K.

Change at the last minute from 35th and Nicollet to this place in Savage. Not sure why - but at least I got the trailer. Fairly tough to get there by 5:00 and work on a Friday afternoon. But in the end - the guy was nice, the trailer was there, and the trip was complete.paul O.

Very bad experience, the associate who helped us (Gerard in Savage MN) gave us inaccurate incorrect information, we had a different destination addreess on the file and when we asked him to change it to the most updated one he said it's not a big deal and no need to change the address and we can drop off the truck at any Uhaul facility next to our house, few hours later I received an email from someone who I never talked to before stating based on our conversation here is the location you need to drop off the truck which was way far away from our new address when we called the customer service the only thing they had to say is sorry and there is nothing they can do and we have to take the truck to that specific location and no help was provided. When we called back Gerard to tell him he lied to us he was keep saying it's not a big deal and again gave us incorrect information insisting we can drop off the truck at any location. We hung up called the facility number was in the email someone picked up the phone couldn't speak English and 2 people talking to me at the same time behind the phone none of them could give me a correct answer what the hell we need to do. We hung up calling Gerard again he said he can't do anything and he is just sorry he is gonna talk to his manger Erin. When he called he said Erin said everything is ok no need to drop off the truck in that specific location, we insisted no you keep lying we want to talk to your manger long story short after multiple conversations Erin finally called and turned out we were right Gerard was lying and we must drop off the damn truck to that specific location and no where else because someone was already waiting on a line to pick it up and all Erin had to say was he is sorry for miscommunication (it wasn't a miscommunication it was mishandling and lying to customer because Gerard either didn't know how to do his job or was simply too lazy to change the damn address that was requested to be changed). Overall was a very unpleasant and stressful situation, moving from one state to other state 1300 miles away was already very stressful the last thing we wanted to go to hell and adding more stress over a stupid truck. I'm just wondering how Uhaul runs the company with all these lazy liers representing the company!Shirin V.
