Poor service, some of the equipment I ordered wasn't available once I got there, the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up, and I paid for 12 hours because that's all it would allow. (Which left it being retuned after hours no matter what.) I returned it with the same amount of gas ( literally stopped at gas station 5 mins before dropping truck off.) I also returned it 5 hours later and didn't even keep it the whole 12. Then got my final billâ€¦. I was charged almost $60 extra dollars for â€œgasâ€. They tried saying it was returned on 1/8 of a tank instead of 1/4. (Which isn't true, but even IF it was, how does 1/8 a tank of gas cost $60?) So basically my 5 hour rental ended up costing $140 plus the additional $20 I had spent refilling up with gas to begin with. When I complained their only comment was, did you take a picture? NO I didn't because I thought they was a respectable and trustworthy company! I never imagined they would find a way to screw customers out of money. Take pictures or use budget instead!!!Amanda S.

But I will not be recommending Uhaul to anyone and I will be reporting you to the better business bureau. I drove an hour and a half to pick my U-Haul up and there was not one available. When the site I was picking my U-Haul up at called customer service they said sorry somebody would call me they didn't have one available. That is unacceptable. They let me know if my U-Haul would not have been ready they would called me the night before at the time I placed my order. I called u-Haul back myself and they found a truck an hour and a half away. By the time I got the truck and back to my storage unit my hired movers had already left and I still had to pay them. So now I'm out double the gas and $400 for movers. I had to hire two people at the storage unit location for $100 to help me. So overall I'm out $550 for some thing that you guys could've controlled we chose not to. I rented a truck from you guys about two weeks ago also and had a very similar experience. Evidently didn't learn my lesson that time. This is unacceptable for business to treat customers this way. When I asked for a refund on my truck or for you guys to pay for my neighbors they acted like I was being silly for asking for that and they would put a complaint in for me. Hopefully you guys will call me today and we can come to a resolution.Christy W.

Don't make 10footers available to reserve online if they aren't really available. I made my reservation 2 weeks ahead of time to be told the truck was not available and that it would never be available due to UPS getting the trucks.Shelby R.

The truck had no dash light, interior windshield was filthy and exterior mirrors shook so violently they served no purpose while driving. The worst u-haul that I've ever driven!Devin C.

They are not set up for 24/7 pickup, you must pickup during business hours. The website shows they are 24/7. They called and squared everything away, however.Brandon U.

Make sure mileage is correct on UHaul before charging customers. I prepaid for 50 miles one way. The location I moved from is exactly 20.9 miles from the new location I moved to. It is 9 miles from the new location in Campbellsville and 14 from the old location, that is 43.9 miles and when I returned the Uhaul I was charged an additional $14 for going over the 50 miles which can't be right. I should have been credited money back not charged IMO. You can google the addresses from one location to the other plus the mileage used to pick up and return the Uhaul. It doesn't add up by a map.rick P.

At least have someone behind the counter that knows their job and can assist customers in the way customers should be handled, the girl didn't know anything about anything and was just there to run her tanning salon and she was not knowledgeable on how to even hook it up , seriously someone needs to teach this girl from the beginning to the end on her job! I rented a auto transport trailer to bring home a jeep i had purchased out of state. Great service at rental center. Only issue was had to spray some wd-40 on ratchet straps to get broken loose to tighten. Trailer handled great.david C.

What needs to be reviewed here is the lack of communication between uhaul and the businesses that rent uhauls. I requested a particular van 3times with websight that showed no availability when the store had them. Then websight told a store had what I wanted but they didnt. Ridiculous... If I were a location renting uhauls, I'd drop you like the NRA!!!DEVIN C.
