The main lady was rude as can be when she told me a 30ft enclosed trailer would fit in a parking and it actually sticks to far out and someone is going to hit it. After calling and telling her we’re not going to take the spot and what about a refund. She told me I didn’t give a 30 day notice and won’t be getting a refund. Our trailer was never parked there and just about a week from signing up for this “makeshift parking spot” of course made me angry makes her demeanor was already negative so I asked to speak to a manager because I was done with her mouth and was told no you can’t speak to a manager, don’t call back and hung up on me. I will never use this company ever again. I was very angry that I was charged twice and it overdrawn my account there was no air conditioning on the hottest day of the year. I sat on hold for over an hour with roadside assistance who never answered the company has not offered to make anything right and when I asked him he said there's nothing I can do so yes I'm telling everyone what a shit show uhaul isMatthew T.

He was a wonderful salesman! Funny and personable. If I ever need another truck or storage, I'm going back to this location. I was having a hard time that day, but he made me laugh when I lost my smile. Renting this u haul was an absolute disaster. We hired movers from the u haul site when we booked the truck, called the moving company the night before to confirm a time. The guy told me they went bankrupt and would not be there for my move in the morning. Then I called u haul because no one had ever confirmed my truck rental and they wanted me to pick one up 40 minutes away. They were able to find me a bigger truck a little closer to my apartment, so we reserved that one. The next morning, I got a call from that u haul location that they didn't have the truck on their property. Luckily, the guy at that location contacted u haul for me and we were able to finally get a truck, but it put us more than an hour behind schedule. At the location we finally got the truck from, the manager gave my husband a hard time for wearing a mask even though I had just tested positive for covid and my husband was trying to be responsible going in public.Jeremy R.

I accidentally left a little extra fuel in the truck, I wasn't even thanked more less a little credit given to me but U-haul just takes it as if they would hurt without it but if I came back with less gas then they would be quick to take money.JUSTIN C.

I had a very awkward and inappropriate interaction with the owner (I believe his name is John) when picking up my truck rental. I was wearing a mask given that we are living during a pandemic and there is a state mandate to wear them. Instead of saying hello, John said, "You don't have to wear that here. Joe Biden stole the election." Not only was this unwarranted and intrusive, but misinformed. I kindly said hello and kind of ignored his comment. We then walked into a tiny trailer that was used as an office and John did not wear a mask. He then asked me who I voted for in the most recent election and proceeded to describe his thoughts on the results. Once again, I kindly let him speak and tried to change the subject. He then brought up education and asked me, "Why do you think democrats have ruined America's education system?" I let him share his thoughts and I respectively offered some data supporting educational policy changes shifting every 8-10 years depending upon the current administration. He ignored those statements. He then talked about a conspiracy theory about how the Vietnam war caused individuals to get PhD's so that they could indoctrinate generations of children to become more liberal. I kindly let him share his thoughts. I am all for politely sharing personal beliefs and participating in political discourse, but those types of conversations should occur outside of a place of business. I found the whole thing to be wildly inappropriate given that we were in the workplace and I was some random customer in need of a truck. I am sure that John is a well-intended guy simply sharing his thoughts with me, but it truly was not the right place or time to do so.Michael H.

Just recheck the trunk for any of their equipment we didn't notice until we got there was 2 moving dolly's and furniture pad bag so I had called her right away to let her she was nice enough to use it and also of no charge but we still didn't need so we didn't use it.ABUBAKAR A.

Office is a trailer, and the manager made a condescending remark when I accidentally left the door open an inch, letting the AC out. The gas tank was at 1/4 as required, but they claim it was significantly less than that. Their solution: charge me for $12.60 of gas PLUS a $30 â€œfill up service fee.â€ This after I cleaned the truck, folded the blankets, returned all equipment, etc. I can't believe it.Dominic M.
