I was originally assigned this drop-off location, but I was notified that I needed to drop off at another location. Okay, fine. I show up at the other location at the correct time and was turned away because of lack of space. That location then directed me back to this location. This location was not open and there were no instructions for drop off. I tried calling the number for this location, but the mailbox was full and not accepting any messages. I tried calling the previous location, but they did not answer. The app wouldn't let me return the vehicle at this location because it wasn't the one I was assigned to drop off at. I finally got ahold of someone who managed to change the drop off location in the system so I could actually process the return. I had a great experience at pick-up and no issues at all with the trailer, but the drop-off situation ruined my whole experience. So frustrating!

MICHAEL SHi, not sure it will help anyone, but the last 2 times I rented a U-Haul truck, the drop off location was moved from the drop-off I had pick. That just happened to put me over on miles . In the final statement I was charged $20 for going over on miles. Both times my drop-off location was moved by U-Haul, both times charged me $20 on my final statement. Hope this helps.😁

Nicole MI would appreciate the Uhaul employee to briefly explain the return process to me as a first time time renter for the trailer. The guy whom helped me did not explain the return process to me. All he said was to return the trailer and take a picture if I want. I was very confused as there is not any kind of documentation process. He repeated the same answer after I asked him again. I came back twice to the location in order to proper return and document the trailer return in the sub-zero temperature. I only found out how to properly return the trailer through my own research. Please ensure employees are properly train to inform customer correctly in order to ensure customer satisfaction. It is very difficult for customers to rate a business's services when the services are completed by the customer themselve and the employee taking the role of the customer. The second reason for the bad rating is this same employee (Bruce) put his need first before mine. There was an issue with the first trailer, but instead of issue me a new trailer first and let me leave Bruce delayed my rental time by contacting Uhaul service to resolve the trailer with issue first. Once that was completed, then he procceed with another trailer for me. He clearly does not value my business and respect my time.
PHONG VHas nothing to do with the drop off place, but I got charged for going over my mileage because after all was signed and confirmed. U-haul changed my drop off place , and that made me go over the mileage U-haul allowed. Otherwise everything worked well. The truck had a minor exhaust leak I think, made the truck just a touch loud, but didn't have any effect on use. Dean

DEBRA DMy receipt said to drop off at Maplewood as my storage unit public storage was in Hugo and close to the drop off point drove to drop off.and store says it open till seven but was closed at 5:30 called you number and was informed the drop off was supposed to be in mounds view why was drop off different from my receipt?by then it to late had to keep truck till Monday then drive to the other side of town.never had this trouble using U-Haul before will think long and hard for my next move who to rent from

VICKIE LProprietor was late to open facility by about 10 minutes. Took time to start the computer system, and then the computer system was running slow so he needed to use his phone. Not sure if that’s his fault or U-Haul. As a result, I did not leave the facility until 11 AM even though my rental was pre-booked for 10am. Owner was, however, a very nice guy, and the U-Haul uniformed helper was also nice and helpful. I don’t admonish them, but just ask the owner to be on time in the future. Also, please help owner with a speedier computer system.
Satveer CMy experience at this location was good my overall experience with UHaul was a disaster that day. I was scheduled to pick up my truck via the UHaul app at 6:00 am on Sunday morning at the Hiawatha location in Minneapolis, but when I showed up the app indicated an issue and required me to call a phone number. After 30 minutes on hold, an agent told me that the truck was not set up the night before for pick up and the store didn't open until 9:00 am. The agent found at truck that was available for immediate pickup but I had to drive 12 miles away to get it. This caused me to lose three hours of time overall that day which I couldn't afford. This made for a very stressful day for me all because one of your employees failed to do their job. I expect a discount on this bill for the lost time and extra mileage I had to drive unnecessarily.

Maurice BDidn’t get furniture pads but was charged for it, even after asking for them. Truck drove terribly, almost felt like it was stalling out. Didn’t get the truck until about 50 minutes past scheduled time. Truck was dirty on the inside, had to sweep it. Y’all charge me if you have to sweep but I have to? Where’s my refund for my pads?

Gerald KThe gentleman who helped me at the location was fantastic and very helpful. Any negative feedback I have is about the age of the trailer itself. The strap for raising and lowering the door needs to be replaced and the ball connection mechanism was so touchy to deal with that the trailer popped off at one point and was extremely difficult to deal with. Thankfully it was empty and I was traveling at very low speed (5mph) and so nothing was damaged, but it was still scary. I hope this type of mechanism isn't a feature of newer u-haul trailers.

Christopher LSaid my application was successful for renting a trailer I get there I do all the paperwork any hands me a piece of paper that says I can’t get it and I need to call because there was an issue. Why won’t that been said right when I did the application online I drove there wasted my gas wasted my time and I was in a hurry, and that failed as well because you flagged my account for using a passport how ridiculous very unprofessional especially the one who reported it. I don’t see a problem in that at all and that should never be an issue.
