DAVID LIt took the customer service rep 45 minutes to process our rental, he had no idea what he was doing. The truck was in terrible shape, I'm surprised it made 120 miles.

Christi BUpfront…I was about 1.5 hours late for pickup on the 24/7 system. Called and took care of that with customer service. But about 2 hours into the rental, someone from the location called demanding me to bring the truck back because he had it for a reservation. Very rude. I explained I had it for a 24 hour rental and it would be back with in that time frame. He was insistent that I bring it back but I refused. Not my fault that I picked up the truck I was supposed to, the day I was supposed to for the time frame I rented it for. They weren’t even open when I picked it up.

JOSHUA GWe rented a dolly that wasn’t put in our truck for before hours pick up at 7:30am. We contacted U-Haul to see where we could get a dolly and they said the location was about to open and the man was on his way to get it for us. We waited for over an hour, my husband called the number posted on the door and the man said he wasn’t coming in until 10. we called U-Haul back and they ended up sending us all the way to the other side of town for an appliance dolly when that’s not even what we needed, but it was all the other store had. Then when we returned the truck, U-Haul tried to charge us an extra $80 for an extra day because we returned it at 8 AM When we didn’t even end up getting our truck to move until around 9 AM. The customer service representative said she was going to remove the charge. Then we got a final bill for almost $19 for extra mileage because we had to drive around to find a dolly that we had rented, but the man at the U-Haul store would not come and get for us. so I’ve had to dispute all of these extra charges and had to stop moving for four hours to go sign Mortgage closing papers over an hour away then drive over an hour back to finish moving because we were delayed waiting on a dolly.

ANDREW PThe office induvial has no idea what he was doing. Earlier, I called this location on the phone, and he said he did not have a dolly that I needed then he said he didn't know. He was all over the place with the conversation. It was very hard to understand what he was saying, he was slurring his words. I ended up calling the U-Haul 1-800 number to see if they could locate what I needed. The person on the phone was amazing and found the dolly I needed in my area. However, when I got to the location, I was surprised to find out it was the original place I called. The office induvial had no idea how to use the computer and had the keyboard on the customer side of the counter and turned the computer screen around and made me do all the paperwork. I took the dolly and asked him when I needed to return it. He said by 7:30 PM But he would not be there he was going home at 5:30. I asked if I would be charged extra, he said he didn't know. Then he tried to get me to bring it back and put it behind the building (not a secure place) I told him I would not do that. I asked if I could bring it back the next day and he said he did not know if he was going to show up to work or not, I asked him how I would know if he was going to go to work, and he said I could keep coming by. I took the dolly and left. I got done with the dolly before he went home and returned it. That was another crazy experience, he had no idea how to return the item, he got a phone call and turned his back on me and was making rude inappropriate comments about getting me out of the office and that he would call the person back. He then turned around and asked me how to check myself out and again turn the computer around to check myself out. I had no idea what to do, I told him I was not leaving without a receipt that I had returned the dolly. He got on the phone with U-Haul and the gentlemen on the phone sent a receipt to my e-mail. I have used U-Haul many times over the years, and this was the worst experience I have ever had. This person should not be representing your company.
sue dTake better care of the trucks. Worst uhaul experience I had in 20 years. Gentleman at Cabot autoplex was great though. This is a UHAUL complaint, not dealer complaint.

Angela GNobody was on-site, during what would be considered normal working hours. Had to navigate the online truck return process and drop keys in the after hours box.
William SThe price I was told on the phone was $601 and when I actually drove off the lot it was $770. I expected taxes but the other charges not being disclosed when I reserved it is highly unacceptable and is a huge difference. Then when I asked about my military or senior discount, he laughed and said he didn’t know how to do them. Extremely unprofessional and I will NEVER do business with him again.

Joseph EThe gentleman that took care of me was very nice. Unfortunately he didn’t have any of the dolly’s I needed so I had to go purchase them for myself. Also, no one from U-Haul called me to let me know that they switched my pick up location and that I couldn’t pick up the truck until 10am instead of the 8am I was promised. So I lost 3 hours of my moving day. But, the gentleman at this location did come in 30 minutes early to help me out.
Michelle PI booked a reservation a month in advance and did not get the truck I booked and was charged a 25.00 cleaning fee for a truck that was not dirty. I will not use this location again as the customer service was not very good!!!

DEBORAH MI am awaiting a call from a district manager. The place I used charged me for fuel I didn’t use, an extra day I didn’t not have, and this has been a headache trying to recoup the money that was not suppose to be taken. I went 15 miles put a little over a gallon in it before I returned and now I have a $35 fuel charge added to me. I will not ever use Cabot Auto Plex in the future. Depending on how the call with the district manager goes I may never use uhaul again.
Brittany HEnsure people are trained on the usage of using the computer and ha e the support they need to complete the task.
