It took us an hour at the location. We could not find the lock box and no clear signs stating where it was located. I would Never get a truck from This place again

Mark BI never got any of the equipment that I asked for, and even paid for. I had to pick up early in the morning so I had to use the app on my phone to complete the process. The app is a dumpster fire, on multiple occasions it asked me to reenter information that I already completed, it took forever, and I had to wait for an agent to call my emergency contact to confirm they were my emergency contact. They actually called my contact (who was sitting right next to me), hung up almost immediately, and then I had to open the support chat for the support agent to tell me "Your emergency contact could not be verified". The entire process ripped me off, took a very very long to time (which made me late), and overall didn't work about 50% of the time. The location was ok, but since it was not at a uhaul location there was no customer service anybody to talk to about all of these issues. The truck was very beat up and had multiple scratches and bent piece of the body. It drove very poorly, and I honestly didn't know if it was going to make the trip. I'll probably never use U-Haul again.

stephen mMake it clear that an “assurer” is needed when the reservation is made online. There’s no mention of the correct ball size on the hitch. I didn’t know my ball was too big until I tried to hook up. The site didn’t have any hitches or balls to rent so I had to scramble to find one and was a massive delay. I was 20 min late at drop off in which the site was closed and locked up, and they charged me for an entire second day. That seems extremely excessive. There was no mention that there was an a mandatory additional charge of $8 for insurance and I didn’t find out until checkout. When I tried to refuse it, they said they couldn’t take it off. I feel ripped off.
