From the day I made the reservation this was a problem. I made the reservation for Hyannis, MA. The next day I received an email changing the location to Plymouth and I confirmed. The next day I received an email changing the location to East Wareham and I confirmed. Then I received an email changing the location to Abington (over an hour away each way). This time I called U-Haul and asked for a closer location and they gave me Bourne. After the reservation runaround I went to pick up the trailer I was renting at the time and date appointed and the business owner wasn't there. I waited 15 minutes before he arrived. While there he said he was closed on Sundays (and I was scheduled to return the trailer on a Sunday), so I told him I would return it Saturday (1 day early). Upon arrival on Saturday to return it, there was a hand written sign posted on the door that they were closed till Tuesday! I called the two business numbers and both sent me to a recording that ironically said they were open... Me and another guy dropped off trailers without anyone to check them in. On my way home I called U-haul's 800 number and was on hold for 5 minutes when a uhaul rep told me I had to check it in online and post pictures. I refuse (I was 20 minutes into my 35 minute drive home) and asked for a supervisor. I was on hold again for another 35 minutes and the supervisor checked in the trailer. THEN I got the receipt! They charged me for Sunday! I would definitely not recommend U-Haul to a friend. I will be seeking an alternate rental company in the past.SHANE R.

Upon arrival at the location there was a piece of paper taped to the door saying â€œclosed for the weekend.â€ I had to call uhaul (45 minutes of sitting on hold), just to make sure I wouldn't be charged an â€œafter hours returnâ€ because technically the store was closed.Isaiah B.

Canal Used Tire appeared fine but I only did an afterhours drop-off. Was originally supposed to drop-off at Aubuchon Hardware in Sandwich. This location is not a U-Haul drop-off location but is still in the U-Haul system.James O.

I said yes to recommend only because of convenience. For starters, there were two workers there-neither were wearing masks! Touchless mobile checkin was a complete bust. I had to stand there in the office and answer for all of the info which should have been in the reservation already! Then I had to swipe a credit card! I checked the tire pressure before loading. Inside left rear was at 30. I filled it to 80. After the long drive, I checked it again. Still at 80, so obviously it wasn't checked before our rental. Other than that, the truck was clean and drove nicely.Thomas F.

This location is tops. I'd never do business with the Hyannis location again. The guy at the counter, not the mgr, was rude. And their rates being billed different is interesting. You might want to check Hyannis out. This sandwich location is tops.stephen T.

The Truck Share 24/7 process needs to be explained more efficiently on the front end of the reservation process. I was unaware of the types of verification that would be needed when I showed up at the location (such as a lease contract, a passport, work information, etc). This information was not sent to my email until AFTER I returned the equipment! (I was fortunate to have 2 personal contacts who were available to answer the phone for the service rep who called them). ALSO, the very important contract was also not sent to my email until AFTER I returned the equipment. This process has several faults and had I not been tech-savvy, I would have struggled to complete the reservation and retrieval of the truck.Stacey B.

The problem is not the local Uhauler, it is your on-line reservation system! This is the second time in a year that I have rented a Uhaul by going online and the local dealer knew nothing about it. They were able to accommodate me in both cases but if the equipment had not been there, I would have been totally screwed. Not sure I will ever use Uhaul again. Too stressful.William S.

There was a U-Haul closer to my destination google didn't show me, No one came out to the truck to explain or show us anything. I would take a photo of how many miles were on it before I left and check the gas level next time. They didn't have the packing clothes I paid for and I had to pick them up at another location, luckily that location had only 6 and they weren't happy I was taking them and it took 1/2 hour to wait and have it processed! Seems like some locations are low or don't have them. It was a weekend pickup I get it.Cynthia S.

The rental process was very nice until I returned the truck and drove home. I then went to complete the return documentation only to find that once into the application it told me I needed to be at the return location. So I drove back and found that the app wouldn't allow me to use the pictures I took when I returned the truck so I called customer service to add the requested photos. The text message should have been specific and clear about completing the return before turning in the keys. This is a common issue according to your customer service.marc S.

My experience with the location was excellent; the owner is friendly and very efficient. My experience with the "Manager" of the Transportation Department was less than desirable. More than a week in advance I made a reservation to pick up a 15' truck at this location. I chose this location because it is a half-mile from my home. Two days before my pick-up date, I was told that particular truck was not available to me at that location, but that I could drive 16 miles out of my way to pick up the truck at a different location. I questioned why and was rudely told that I could confirm the pick-up or she, the alleged manager, would cancel my reservation. I advised her that I drive by my desired pick-up location daily and there were, in fact, two 15' trucks at that location and asked why they were not available to me when I made a reservation and reserved that truck. She advised me that the location I chose was only a drop off location. I'm not sure why that even matters. When I told her that she was forcing me to drive out of my way so that U-Haul could charge me more money for the extra mileage, she again threatened to cancel my reservation. I asked for a manager and she told me she was the manager. I asked for her supervisor and I again questioned why I could not pick up the truck that I reserved and that was clearly available at my desired location. At this point, she stated that because I only needed the truck for a few hours, she would change my pick up location and then she abruptly hung up the phone. Pickup location was supposed to open at 9am. The employee did not show up to open the door until 9:50am. I was paying movers by the hour and this ended up costing me $150. Owner answered the first time I called and said someone would be there by 9:20. He would not answer any calls after that time.Miranda D.

I was extremely disappointment with the pick-up process; representative was approx. 15 minutes late, and took another 15 minutes to process my paperwork. This delay caused me to be late meeting delay those people assisting me with my move, costing me additional money. This location was ideal for my needs, but the location could have been more visible.
