CYNTHIA PI didn’t talk to personel. Just dropped off and left. Overflowing charity donation box was not inviting but the rest of the property was fine.
DANIEL GClerk would not put his cell phone down and talk to me. Truck I reserved was still attached to a car hauler parked in mud. The truck and trailer were sunk deep into the mud and were not accessible. Clerk told me to call customer service. Customer service rep came in service truck was excellent to deal with. Winched out truck for me. I do not agree with the mileage charges C&R charged.
DEAN WHe was not nice to us he said we have to pay $50 three times and then he said we will get it back and that didn’t happen and now we have to pay $488.45 because we didn’t return the truck wish we did return it same day so we shouldn’t be paying $488.45 back to you guys we won’t be renting a truck from you guys anymore
DAVID DWe ordered blankets to cover our furniture and a utility cart and they didn’t have any nor did they notify us about it. Also the gas tank was below a quarter tank. The people were also very rude
ORVAL BHad to dig it out, covered in snow . Frozen to the ground . Should of been ready as it was reserved and they knew we were coming.

BRIGITTE Mi was lied to by the dispatch office.the trailer waa not broken and why they wanted to send me to massey made no sense at all. the store was great.they did everything they could to help me. the equipment was very dirty. the drive was fine no issue with the drivability of the equipment. would like to hear from a boss to discuss the nightmare i went through to get the equipment...than god i waa close to the store so both the clerk and i could talk to the dispatch office at the same time.

ROBERT GWhen we arrived to pick up our car dolly. The place was closed and the dolly had no harness for the lights to the trailer. We thankfully had a number to call because Sudbury UHaul assisted us with a contact number. We had the pleasure of dealing with someone named Christy at the Sprague location and she assisted us in an amazing way at both locations. We are profoundly grateful for this very special woman who made our life easier by walking us through everything to sort out the innumerable issues we encountered with those 2 locations. What began as a nightmare ended up being resolved because of Christy and the Sudbury UHaul location giving us the right contact. I don't recommend self serving UHaul when no one is available to assist. The Saint John location for drop off was absolutely amazing because there was a person who assisted us to upload and finish the process. It did end up going smooth at the end.
ROBERT CI was supplied a car haulier with no license plate ( tags ) so I had to unload the car from the car haulier exchange the trailer and reload the car back onto the hauler. This was not fun a simple mistake but it could’ve caused me a lot of trouble and that everything was great.

JOHN SBack latch on truck was difficult to close. The appliance dolly wheels on back of dolly didn't move well ended up tearing the stairs.

Lazy employees just wanted me to do the check in online via the app vs checking equipment and helping unhook… in Toronto I had employee hook up trailer and check everything in Elliot they gave me the jack and had no interest in looking at equipment or doing paper work … horrible customer service in Elliot lake .

Mark LI was originally told that we would have 200 km added to our allotted km because we had to pick up here instead of in Sault Ste Marie where I had the truck reserved. This never happened so I was charged $70.26 extra for the extra km I went over as a result. Also had to rent a truck to drive out to get the truck which costed me an additional $200 and 4 hours of my day. I would like my extra costs back and at the very least a refund for the 70.26.
Adelaide FFirst, this location does not carry boxes for sale forcing us to order on line. Second when we arrived he didn't have several of the items we had ordered to be included, such as blankets and rolling dolly. We had all signed in on line but it was showing on his screen so had to be redone. Very slow process.
DONNA SThe truck needs to be retired with 1,000 miles on it. Definitley not for highway use.
James CThis location was Ok for picking up the UHaul truck however it was not where we were supposed to pick up our truck. We were supposed to pick up the truck in Sault Ste. Marie and they did have the truck we needed however it had a cracked windshield so they would not let us use it. We had to drive over 2 hours one way, out of our way to Elliott Lake to pick up a different truck. When we returned the truck in Ottawa Ontario, they told us we were supposed to fuel the truck to one quarter tank when it had not been at that level when we got it. It was almost empty, we had to immediately go to a gas station and fuel the truck which cost $290.00. Needless to say, we were very upset.

Nicole HI was asked to give $200 deposit that I would get back when I return the truck. Now 5 hours later, l'm told my deposit will take 2 business days. It's the banks fault he says. This is terrible business I shouldn't have to wait. You didn't wait to get paid. I'm very upset about how you do business.

Andrew SI did not have a problem at all where I got the truck. It was after,the truck broke down and trying to deal with someone that would help you was the problem. Plus still having to pay full price for the truck is the problem 🙄
Lindsey Hthe very bad experience was when I attempted to call u-haul western quebec office . I waited 30 minutes on the french line and was cut off by you.I also waited 15 minutes on the english line.I got upset and terminated the call...!!

roger oThis was my first time renting from U-Haul and I wasn’t impressed with the way the staff dealt with my booking.. the staff member didn’t explain how to use the equipment which caused problems.. called up the president and area manager of U-Haul both were very quick in dealing with matter and kept us informed on the matter.. I will rent from U-Haul again just not at the location I rented from.

EMILE LMy experience with this UHAUL dealer was great, the young lad who helped me was knowledgeable and willing to help, he asked the questions that related to my rental, which I might add saved me a few bucks as well. I would recommend this location any day of the week. Having said that, the only comment I would make is that the covered trailers are heavy and do not have tounge jacks on them, which would help with the hooking up process
