Service a bit dysfunctional. The rented van came full of moving blankets, which was fine, but it wasn’t a clean experience.

Manager who the clerk called on the phone was rude. Language barrier was a problem They couldn’t find my reservation Took 20 mins extra passed pick up time Vehicle was very dirty They wouldn’t accept PC Visa or PC Mastercard They are normal credit cards accepted world wide. Very unhappy with this service.

truck was not clean on inside; was adequate but required cleaning personally prior to use in general the customer service was below average and would not use this location in Edmonton again did not have moving blankets available which were requested in booking

I suggest that before they gave the truck to the customer is to check everything because the truck that they gave me the wiper is not working properly and there’s no windshield water so I bought and stop to the gas station and fill it in and still the driver side wiper is not working properly and that they is the weather is not good its snowing alonh the way going to Swift current and it took me 10 hrs driving instead of 7-8 hrs because i need to stop and fix the wiper because I cannot see it well,,,, thank goodness I came safe! I reported that incident to Uhaul but never heard any.

Your app sucks. I tried to sign in using the web app, and it stuck me in "pending approval" for nearly 10 minutes without any reply from the chat after I asked how long this would take, only to have to go into the store anyways because I was sick of waiting. I don't want to put any of this on the location, he's just a small business owner and doesn't deserve any backlash; on the contrary he was very helpful and prompt once I went inside. I want to really impress upon you how much the malfunctioning app added just an extra mark of stress and frustration on an already very bad day. Not impressed.

This franchise recovered the incompetence of the central uhaul agency from their failure to properly conduct the reservation of a vehicle at the appropriate and requested pick up location. Were it not for their conduct I would have cancelled a $1000,00+ dollar reservation for another vehicle next week. Kudos to this franchise location. Not so to the parent organization.

the person at the desk did not know i was coming, they asked me to talk to a person on the phone, no one explained what was going on or why this was being done on the phone as all past experiences have been with the person and in person, it required your website to allow access to my camera and the settings were not so I could no take pictures of the drivers license or equipment. It felt shady and minimal confidence in passing over my information and answering questions i had already provided via my reservation. I would not use this location or recommend it. Nice enough people, but lack of customer communication or confidence building. I will use UHaul again just not this location.

They were open and they put closed on the Uhaul website. I choose online pickup and the lock box the put on the wall is very weird place and very hard to open. The counter person is very rude.

The employee had no idea what was going on she called her manager and had me speak to him on speaker phone. The store manager was incredibly rude even though I did the whole Mobile check in I had to redo it all. I will never go back to this location.

I drove a twenty foot U-Haul Super-mover about 4000 km. I had no problems. I would like to offer a suggestion. It would be nice to have cruise control on the vehicle. My leg was getting tired after holding the gas pedal for several hours. I appreciated the engine controller on the hills. All in all I enjoyed the ride.

While everything else was very smooth, it is a problem that the seat position adjustment was broken and set to the size of a tall person. I am not tall, and it was sometimes hard to see and drive comfortably. If a 10' truck has a broken adjustment, could you try to put smaller customers into another similar vehicle?

The parking is not sufficient to run a U-Haul pick up drop off spot out of it. We had to park very carefully down as side road. The employee was very knowledgeable, but was unable to help us with a question we had. Very disappointed in the fact that we could only rent it for a minimum of two days. We only required one day we picked it up at 3 o’clock. Had it dropped off by 3 o’clock and still had to pay the same price. I feel you should have prorated rates if you drop a truck off earlier. We were only driving three hours and then quickly unloading a small apartment. I feel the price we paid for a 24 hour rental was far too much and then add in the fact that we were not reimbursed for the additional fuel. please call 780-808-7943 with any questions

The interior of the back of the truck was sticky and dirty but we washed the floor and walls and everything else was great.

This location is part of a convenience store, and there was only one person managing it; therefore the person had to close the store to be able to spend time doing a drop off inspection. The manager was really helpful and accommodating and thankfully we only had to wait a short time before he had time to close the store and help us. It was an inconvenient location to park at.

Create clear instructions on how to pick up keys. It was unclear whether I could pick up my phone. I was unable to pick up my truck by phone and I wasted 45 minutes trying to pick up my phone when I should have been picking it up from inside the store. This was unclear from the emails in previous messages. If it is stated it was not stated clearly enough.

Avoid this place at all costs. They charge you for gas even if you filled it to the level you took it out. They charged me for damage/missing without any explanation They will hold the final receipt in the guise of their computer not working. And send you a receipt later so that you don't have the time to go back and question their charges. Avoid these scammers.

It was sketchy looking but the personnel was nice. However we were told we had 69 miles before we were charged by the mile but when we got the contract it said we only had 38 mile before being charged per mile. Which was ridiculous because we were doing a one way and 38 miles was barely half way.

Good morning, this was my first u haul experience. The breaks were completely shot and not working in the slightest. The wheel alignment was off as the steering wheel would turn on its own slightly. The motor would only hit a certain RPM which didn’t allow me to take highway routes which would have been faster.The motor/engine sounds like it’s on its last leg. representative was good to me during the morning but neglected to mention any of the above mechanical issues. This vehicle should be decommissioned or serviced before someone gets in a major collision. Having this vehicle on the road is a liability to the driver and other motorists in its vicinity

We moved 2 blocks and maybe drove 1 km. Truck was clean and returned very early. We were sent many additional receipts and extra charges and robbed by Uhaul. We are a hard working family and these people are criminals.

I booked a regular sized dolly but there were only applicance sized. Still got charged for the appliance size and it was much harder to manoever on the ground and get in/out of the truck

The convenience store where I rented sells a lot of bongs, drug paraphernalia, knives etc. not the nicest of stores, but it was convenient for me.

Car had low tire pressure on one tire (~20 psi vs ~50 on the other 3 tires), we asked if this was going to be a problem and they said no. But it did not feel safe to us to use for highway driving so we ended up actually not using it. When we mentioned this issue at the convenience store upon return the guy got aggressive and started asking why we didn't bring the car back then?? And we had to calm him and say we did bring it back... Then he started saying we brought it back late (we rented at 5 pm for a 24 hour period, returned at 3 pm but had said we could possibly return at 2 pm) and that they would charge "extra fees". We explained that we rented at 5 pm and it was only 3 pm, but he insisted that we were late and it cost him a customer, so we would have to pay. He would not say how much the "extra fee" was (he said it would take 3+ hours to assess the car to determine the extra fee cost??) and when we pointed out the issue with the tire pressure anyway, he told us that it didn't matter and that being "an hour late" cost him a customer (even though fixing the problem would have taken more than an hour, and he didn't have another car for his double booked customer). tldr; guy at the canora convenience store tried to scam us for 2 days when we rented for 1 and the car itself was in very poor shape, with one tire's pressure way too low (felt unsafe to drive); would avoid this location at all costs
