Uhaul compromised our reservation by putting someone else's information with ours. This meant our original reservation was messed up. This review is about the other person's rental. The screw up continues and here's the story of our experience so far... The app thinks we are different people so we can't use it for checking in. We were not contacted with a location to pick up our reserved unit and when we called the location we reserved from it took more than an hour to find us a trailer which had to be picked up an hour drive from us. This took 3 hours out of our planned use. The new reservation cost more than the original reservation. The uhaul app also does not give map directions to the actual location when you click the link in the reservation. We traveled at least 15 minutes to a non-existent location before we found out we had to manually enter the location address un our maps. The physical address of the location is difficult to find on the uhaul site or app. The trailer does not have a jack on the hitch. This means there is no safe way to unhitch it in the storage yard when it is loaded. It has an automatic hydraulic brake. This engages when you are backing up an inclined driveway making the unit very difficult to maneuver even empty. This was even worse trying to park it in the storage facility as the brake prevents you from backing into a space. We hope the next 3 units reserved for Monday will actually be available and not in 3 different places. We hope we'll find that information out tonight. We hope the person whose information was sent to us is ok with it. We have access to everything including his receipt and refund information. The facility we picked up the trailer at was nice and the unit was clean and in good condition.

Dave KPick up location was a residence which would have been helpful to know. Contact number for location was out of service. We tried to split up payment because it was more than triple what was quoted on U-Haul. Truck had been sitting for 3+ months, alignment was off, truck was parked on a hill so gas was not accurate, check engine light was on and brakes on truck were not good. Rep who rented the truck was friendly and patient but overall it took us over an hour just to pick up the truck.
Ryan AFirst off no signage when going to location, The driveway going to the shop where to park the uhaul is steep and super slippery. Just about got stuck in a foot of snow and just about took stairs off the house by the drop location as they don’t have a clean, wide enough path going to the shop. Parking area is in a field, no proper parking area
