I had problem finding the box to return the van key, because there was no mail box similar to the one you see its photo on your the U-Haul account, there was a mail slot on the door with a note on the top (return the key or something like that) and a little slide behind it and a little container (like a box with the top open ) at the bottom of slide, I just put the key back to the lock box I got it from hoping that they would find it. That was way to expensive I did not realize how expensive u-haul is sure $20 but you need to pay a rediculas amount of money per km I could Have went to any other rental and paid less then half the cost I did with u-haul I would never rent again u-haul what a rip-off never again in my lifeROSARIO B.

I asked for help from the store owner who was at the location but he kept saying do it online. It was very frustrating for me because it was my first time renting and he refused to help. The van was dirty in the back cargo area. It was dirt and water. I asked the store owner if the vans are disinfected after each use because of the COVID-19 and he said NO. He said I need to disinfect it. I called U-Haul and the representative was very patient and guided me through my reservation. The store owner could have tried to be helpful but he chose not to.Arda D.

1. Pictures of the driver and his/her licence should be provided in advance of pick up. Too much time is wasted doing so at point of pick up. 2. I had to pay a deductible for some damage. Why was there tax on it? When I pay a deductible on my car or home policy I never pay taxes on it.Carmelo C.

The truck I received broke down through proper usage also I was NEVER compensated as I was told I was going to be. Uhaul would have to work very hard to get my business back. this moved cause me over $2000.00 in unplanned expenses including but nowhere limited to airfare and a broken phone plus you never lived up to the contract I signed to transfer the load myself.John G.

The entire experience with uhaul this time around was beyond horrendous. We reserved 2 weeks in advance a 26' moving truck to be picked up in newmarket where our uhaul storage unit was & we received confirmation that it was booked. The night before our move we get a voicemail stating that the 26' truck isn't available & we have been downgraded to a 20' & pick up is in Richmond hill! After several phone calls to uhaul we finally got through only to be told in so many words too bad so sad that that's what's available now even though we reserved it weeks ago! We were concerned that the pick up location was going to be closed the morning of pick up but were told "the on line registration is an easy process" Well I can assure you it is exactly the opposite. We were at the pick up location for over an hr trying to use the "easy" on line process! I even uploaded our drivers license the day before with their useless link they text you the day before which was absolutely pointless because I had to upload the license at least 20 more times standing in the parking lot only to be told sorry we can not complete your on line registration. We called 6 or 7 times & were repeatedly hung up, disconnected, put on hold only to be sent back to the main menu, I tried the "live" chat, only to be repeatedly ignored & when I finally dud get someone they disconnected me from there as well! There were other people at the same location dealing with the same issues as us so CLEARLY it is a massive problem with uhaul. This was the mist disgusting customer service & experience I have ever had to deal with....moving is stressful enough without this kind of nonsense. I will NEVER use uhaul again or buy any moving supplies or anything from them again. Thanks for making our moving day a nightmareShai P.

Location wise I have no issues. The company itself however is extremely unprofessional. I was supposed to pick the truck up at 10, but it was not available at the location I've reserved it at. After 45 minutes on the phone and being redirected 4!!! Times between different people, I was sent to a new location which also has a double booking, so the next client after me would not get his truck. To add to my annoyance, the moving blankets I ordered were not in the truck and the location did not have enough of them to begin with (although the owner of the location called and apologized and deducted the blanket costs from the total). Overall my move started 2 hours later than anticipated and threw my entire planning out of the window.Farid G.

The place is very small,which is fine except there was only one parking spot and it was very tight. The app for drop off wasn't working, it didn't accept pictures taken. My phone wasn't the problem since everything worked when I picked it up . App needs fixing for bugs. Since the app wasn't letting me drop off, I had to call customer service and was on wait for 35min before I got a representative. Important to note; I called with my phone and then I had my friend also call after 15min of wait and he still got to an agent before me even if the same selections were made. Your phone service is thus not by first call first serve which is frustrating for those waiting. The representative was very polite and helpful,we ended up ditching the app and restart the process using the browser.Roxanne S.

Hi I am incredibly upset and dissapointed both with the service, the store itself and the vehicle. The store itself was beyond filthy bs dirty. Food on the floor, open garbage, Ext. If you can you should send someone there to take a look at this place. The cube can I rented was very clean however definitely has Transmission problems. The service was by far the worst part of the experience. Other then the fact when I walked in, there were 3 staff members eating in the middle of the store around a table watching TV. Then when I asked to be helped he told me to wait 5 minutes which I didn't mind but he ended up taking around 25-30min. Then when it came to checking the paperwork he told me there was a 1/4 tank of gas when I'm actually there was less. I asked him to come check the van with me so we can adjust the paperwork and he said don't worry about it bring it back close to the same level. When I did at the end of the day he told me there was not enough gas as according to the paperwork and starting telling me how he was going to charge me. It was the photos I took that he let it go. However anyone else would have probably been cheated by this individual. And then he went further and try to collect money from me and told me that he would have me banned from UHAUL. This was a disgusting experience and very frustrating for something that didn't have to be that way.joshua K.

The service was good. I have no complaints about that, but the office is not tidy. The van worked fine but it was NOT clean. Nothing had been wiped down and there was dirt and coffee stains and it smelled inside. But for a quick and easy rental in that neighbourhood it was fine and I can recommend it.lisa G.
