JAMES FThe location is a gas station. Lot isn’t much to look at. Pick up was fine, no issues. Noted that the trailer had one rim with damage at the tire bead. Later checked the tire pressure and it was dangerously low. Should have been checked at pick up location and either fixed or taken out of service.

SHANE MOvercharged and you have to go into a gas station to get your keys and check in. If you rent any equipment they give it to you make you carry it out of the store rather than taking it to the back. I thought the last experience renting a U-Haul was rough but this one done me in.
Randi CEvery time I've rented from this location each time the equipment was dirty and had several dents and scratches on it inside and out of the equipment I was charged twice for the equipments condition once returning it even though it wasn't my mess I didn't do it so I was forced to clean something I didn't dirty up I think that is very bad business practices to not clean equipment before renting it out to someone new then proceed to charge them for something they didn't do because someone didn't make sure it was clean before renting it out again this location does this all time and they scam us charging us more money then what was agreed once I go to pick up the equipment I Will never rent a uhaul from this location again I may never rent a uhaul again at all actually it's severely overpriced and to many hidden bullshit fees and they lie all time about the payment then proceed to double charge you it's unbelievable
MATTHEW BIsn't alot to really improve this experience the interior was very dirty when I got it but I had no issue cleaning it I'd say this location should inspect the equipment once it's returned more often then not doing it at all

ELAINE CFirst off, we originally had a truck reserved that was only 5-10 minutes from our home. We got a call THE MORNING OF OUR MOVE stating that the customer before us had not brought the truck back and they could not get ahold of them. They offered us a truck from a town that was 30-40 minutes away. Seeing as this was the only day we had to move, we had to take it. They offered money back to us for the mileage, which I do appreciate. But, was still a huge disappointment and then put us about an hour-hour and a half behind schedule. The location itself was not in the best part of town in my opinion, but pickup and drop off were very easy and the truck was in good condition.

hesham aTried for an hour to try to upload my ID and he couldn’t get it to work. This was at 2AM to try to be on the road by noon. He kept doing the same thing expecting a different result. Said it was because it was out of state. Like what?? It’s U-Haul, everyone is going to different states. Came back to try at 7:30AM and he finally called someone and they told him he needed to click a box. So much wasted time. Then he hooked me up but apparently wrapped my chains where there was no slack so when I do big turns, it wouldn’t give. I know this because I stopped at an auto shop for someone to inspect the setup as I had zero confidence in his abilities and I have several hour drive ahead. Just a total nightmare. He was nice, just unqualified imho.

Scott CIt is convenient to Ball State. Only places to park were in front of garages so I went inside to verify. Gentleman came out to look and confirmed we are ok to park. Also it is on a slight include so we had to walk around looking for item to block the wheels. Looking at other trailers there they had found rocks and boards. Seemed a bit unsafe.
SHERI QIt took over an hour for us to get our truck! It was scheduled for pick.up at 7:00. We arrived at 7:15, the young man at the counter tried to get into the system and he said it was down. We spent the next hour waiting in the gas station for him to contact the appropriate people to get our truck. When we got into the truck, it smelled like smoke, had a half tank of gas, and made weird creeking and rattling sounds. We will NEVER use this location again.

MARK GWe arrived on time to pick up our truck, the truck that was pre-selected was in bad shape. The truck was dirty, the windshield had tape on the the top of the windshield as if the windshield had been replaced but the windshield was covered in bugs. There was more than usual damage to the truck from previous use. When I asked for a different truck, the attendant did not know how to change the vehicle on the contract and had to call the manager for assistance. This took another half hour of our time.
JOHN TThis is a 24/7 location and I had to pick up at night, better lighting in the parking lot would have been nice.

Betty BUpgrade your corporate infrastructure so that your sites can process orders efficiently. Your software UX is very poor for customers and full of defects. It sucks.
REBECCA HThe inside of the truck was filthy with leaves, dirt and broken glass. I was annoyed when I saw the sign that stated we would be charged $25 if we didn’t leave it clean. The people who used it before us clearly did not clean it out, nor did the staff check it. I used the shop vac on it so the next person would not have to be inconvenienced. Although it wasn’t our mess, I also did not want to be charged the fee for returning it filthy.
Amelia AThe person behind the counter had no idea how he was supposed to check out the truck. He was very nice but had to call the manager and try to figure our what to do. This process took over 45 minutes. We had purchased moving supplies and was told they did not have them at that location, so we had to go to the U-Haul main location to get them further delaying us. The truck was covered with snow and ice with no equipment for us to clean the truck so that we could drive it. I would not recommend this location at all.

Tony STruck was dirty when we picked it up. Charged $25 for a cleaning fee hours after we returned. Pick up representative didn’t go over the truck with me. Drop off representative didn’t go over the truck with me but by god they’re quick to charge $25 for a cleaning fee.

christal wI was transferred to a different location than what I requested. The location I was sent to had 1 person working the convenience store location and the the U-Haul part also. So whenever he had time to start working with us to finish the reservation, the front door of store would open and he would he stop working with us, go to the cash register and check store customers out. Then re-focus on our reservation

Logan BThe workers at this location were nice, this was not their fault. This was just a joke of a location. It’s a gross gas station with a small lot abutting an abandoned building. They didn’t have the dolly we reserved so we had to drive to a second location to get one. The truck itself was fine and did the job. Had to wait a long time to check out at both this location and mcgalliard with the dolly. Customer service calls were both an absolute embarrassment for the company with how the two reps were rude and could not answer my very basic question. Uhaul needs to overhaul its business practices.
