Carbs Equipment was great but the truck I was given had the tire light on so I had to get another truck. That one was not full of gas so they had to have someone go get gas. Filled out everything on-line to supposedly save time but it still took over an hour.steve M.

I'm not tech savvy. I was told this location was open on Sunday to arrive and found it closed putting me in a panic mode. It's location is great but it is surrounded by numerous businesses. It kept saying I was at Dunkin Donuts who shares the same parking lot so the online checkout wouldn't allow me to checkout for over an hour stating I would be charged if not right location. A designated Uhaul area with sign would be helpful. Very frustrating! But I managed to figure it out and the rest was a simple process. Overall I'm satisfied with the whole process! Recommend Uhaul is the way to go!Lisa B.

Not call me a day before my reservation and tell me you don't have the truck then I have to drive an hour to another location to pick one up. Also I had trouble finding the location because there's no uhaul sign because it's a dealership for off-road vehicles.THOMAS W.

The guy that waited on me heard that I did not get the furniture covers from the other location as promised, so he called the 800 # to advise, was to get a $50 credit because location closed an hour before we got there. have not seen that amount credited yet to my credit card. Very inconvenient to have to go back the next day to get the covers.Beth S.
The support from Carns Equipment staff was very good. I did however have very poor experience with the mobile app process and electronic system on pick up day. The app did not work. Throughout the day I updated my email address and credit card information no less than 4 times with various customer service or traffic staff which never saved on the system. The app never checked me out and not realizing how the system worked, we left with th truck not being checked out. Then to my horror in trying to fix checkout, with a very helpful western PA region staff, had the stress of my credit card being declined. This was not an error on my part but my electronic record reverting back to information from a rental over a year ago. 4 times I updated my address, email and in 2 times my cc info before this was resolved. The people were helpful, but on a moving day, in bad weather it was added stress.TRACEY C.

not Thrilled about having to go to a further away location to pick up a truck rather than from one of the the two local re two facilities. Also didn't really like the inconvenience of having to return rented truck to original place of pick up. Move Ended up costing about $40 more than budgeted for.Ann O.

They came to my rescue since the one in Punxsutawney didn't make my reservation right away and then made it for the wrong day. I found out the day before we needed to pick up. The U-Haul reservation system needs OVER- hauled. The woman at Carns Equipment was no nice it helped make it worth the 1 hr. drive to get there.don T.

Good vendor experience, but ... tow dolly ramps damaged underside of Miata while driving, not happy. Long non retractable ramps combined with low car height caused contact under rough road conditions. Retractable ramps would have prevented this.john B.

I made a reservation, a week in advance, at Carns equipment, in Clearfield Pa.for a U-Haul truck. When I went to get the truck, I was told it was no longer available, it had been given to another customer. This was done by someone at U-Haul, not Carns Equipment. I don't understand why you didn't honor my reservation? what the purpose of a reservation? Is this normal company policy? I have been a U-Haul customer since 1991, the next time I need a moving truck, I will check with other companies!Steven C.

Lets see, where to begin.... 1. there was no dolly in it, even though we rented one. 2. the fuel level listed was wrong (just over half a tank as opposed to listed as full), and since we picked it up after hours we couldn't fix it till the next day (plus no dolly) causing us endless delays (only one day to move instead of two, half the amt of helpers causing us to have to do more of the work, all of this being done in the middle of a 96 degree day instead of during the previous night when cool.) 3. the wait time to talk to someone on the 800 number was 40 min, and then the girl who helped didn't know what to do and transferred us to a closed dept, causing us to have to wait another 30 min to talk to someone else who kinda helped. Still had to wait till next day to fix everything. 4. The only good thing to come out of it was the different lady at the rental place the next day did fix everything and corrected the charges today.Melissa H.

U-Haul wasn't clean on inside and driver side seat belt was way to loose in case of accident it wouldn't do it job in my opinion! I also rented it on line for 24 hours and I was told I had to have it back at 9:30am instead of 11:00am!!Gene R.
