It took me two hours to get my keys. The online access was worthless. The onsite manager was helpful buy not your phone help. worthless. The manager however did not arrive till 11am. When I took pictures to download it was very slow. VERY SLOW. It started over several times.

Downloading app is very inconvenient. The lockbox to access the keys was stuck and very frustrating. Truck gate did not open all the way and was in the way to unload.

MARIA MI had trouble with the U-Haul app when checking in/out the vehicle. When I would take pictures it would freeze, I had to restart the process a few times and received an error message 2 times. App was easy to use, but those glitches added more time to the process.

Venkata LThe owner/ the manager charged me twice, i had to file a complaint to the corporate office for my money to be refunded. Never use this location for any rental. He claimed he truck was dirty and i also did not return the truck on time and that i had used the truck for 2 days but luckily i took pictures before the truck was rented and also i took pictures after i returned the truck and all my pictures had a time time. He/they are crooks at this location. Never rent from this location folks
Paul OImprove the photo verification on app ended up going through website after talking to customer support. App is useles. Notify customer ahead of time they'll need either 2 contacts, passport, etc. It took 2 hours to get my uhaul rented out today due to these issues. Very displeased and now consider uhaul as a last resort option. I'm rating the location above average because the attendant was very polite and helpful however due to recent updates there was very little she could do besides refer me to the troublesome app. She exhausted all options available to her and was in no way associated with my bad experience.

LISA FThe service is not friendly, the location is dirty, and the equipment is in the worst shape I have ever experienced. The rental truck doors did not close securely.
LAWRENCE OTried to say I traveled 150 miles when I only moved my stuff in the same city. I had the truck for only 2 days and used only 70 to 80 miles. The guy that checked me out had no facts on the distance I traveled. It's almost like they did not get payment on the last person that used the truck, or they did not do their job on the last interaction.
ANDREW CI would recommend to others based on location. Cause close to utsa if needed for college students. The U-Haul truck was not clean, tape to cover seat tears, windows were so dirty it was hard to see out of them. Workers were very kind and knowledgeable in getting me setup.

He said he would take that into consideration when returning the car. I returned the car one hour early. The manager said, “You'll get a $17 refund.” But I didn't get the money.... That's a good idea about the cars. It's a pity that such liars ruin the image of the company.

Rachel JNewer, fuel efficient and technologically advanced trucks please. Drove 77 miles and burnt 12 gallons of gasoline. Why trucks have 1/2 fuel instead of full. Will be lot convenient to return full tank than half tank.
NARAYAN GThis was a terrible location. Cashier attempted to add the insurance onto the transaction without even asking me. Was also genuinely just rude throughout the whole interaction. Within the vehicle itself, disgusting. Unclean, unkept, I found someone's eyelash in the door!!! Also half empty water bottles, an overall stickyness throughout, genuinely filthy. Not only that, but the vehicle also had a check engine light on, which no one had bothered to explain that or even mention it once. As a company, you should be ashamed to even associate with this gas station and I should've gone the extra few miles to go elsewhere.

Paul SThey wanted to charge me around $40 dollars extra because the mileage that they gave was wrong, thank god I take a picture of the mileage from the truck and I could prove them that the paper was wrong.

MICHAEL CThe truck was filthy and had a heavy, lousy smell. Due to the scent, it was almost impossible to be inside with the air conditioner running. You could notice immediately that maintenance was needed. I will not rent from this location in the future. Compared to Uhaul-owned locations, this experience was poor.

I never use U-Haul again in Zavala 4447, that place first serve their customers for their food, they let you wait an hour per UHaul customer, they don't care about you, they damage anyone's experience!

Jemeil JThe people who spoke to me and my partner have not been helpful at all. We were first told $30 charge to my card. Then we got a charge for $60 to my partners card. Not only the wrong card but also double the agreed price. Fine, its done and i’ll just give my partner the money. But now I get a receipt for over $80. When we were charged the $60 we were told up down left and right that the $60 was the one final only charge. I feel personally scammed and I am upset on my partners behalf. They say we drove 44 miles and at max we drove 30. I will NEVER recommend U-Haul EVER. Stealing money from a college student moving to my first apartment.
Jeremy DAlthough we made a reservation for a 10ft truck the day before, there was no such equipment on the property although we saw it there earlier in the day. They must have rented it out even with our reservation. Instead, it was a typical "bait and switch" where we had to pay extra for a larger truck, and they refused to honor the agreed to price in the reservation. This location has many bad reviews, and I am not sure why U-Haul continues to let them deceive customers. They also tried to tell us we used a half a tank of gas for a 15-mile usage where we showed before and after pictures to refute their claim. Next step is to report this to the BBB, internet sites and any appropriate governmental agency as to this fraudulent activity.

I did not get all the equipment that I requested and upon the return, they wanted to charge for it. We had to call the morning attendant so that they would believe me instead of just checking their inventory. The location was convenient for my needs but the management was not what I expected.
Octavio AThe service clerk rolled her eyes and had an ugly attitude when I checked in to get my truck. When picking up my truck the man refused to use a calculator and tried to charge me 22 miles when it was 12. I corrected this with my own calculator. Very unprofessional and very rude staff. Truck had no trash but was dirty to the touch. Lastly, I had a hard time uploading my ID and the lady would not let me change my address in the system. She said it doesn't matter so she can leave it the same even when I asked to update it.
JENICE MThe UHaul was/is disgusting. Previous user things were still there including name badge and cardboard? The drink holders had old candy wrappers in them, leaves in the back, overall poor experience. The checkin process was clunky to say the least, I’m good on ever renting from UHaul again.

Don’t assume that the customer only needs the truck for certain hours, usually unexpected things happens and the truck can’t be returned in time. Explain the difference between hourly rental and full day rental.
Matthew RThis location was disorganized and rude. They altered the price so I ended up paying almost twenty dollars more than the estimate with taxes. I pre-checked out yet it still took over an hour. If I have to rent from this location again I will find alternative avenues to rent a truck. Returning the truck was a nightmare at 10 pm in a deserted parking lot at a damn near closed store. NEVER AGAIN. Also, do not use the feature to assist with hiring helpers. THEY NEVER SHOWED 190.00 waisted!!!

Could not reach the store by phone due to failure of call multiple times Vehicle had a service engine light on and when I mentioned it, they stated it had been this way for awhile now. Staff at checking was rather robotic! No smile or friendly conversations I guess I should not have expected much more from a convenience store! .. but the truck did the job.

Jack SThis uHAL expeirience was not good at all. First upon pickup the first vehicle received, pretty much all the engine lights were lit up. We asked for a different vehcile just to get a new one and then break down 1 hour out of town. We could not get through to someone onsite for assistance and had to call the customer service line, finally got in touch with roadside assistance waited over 2 hours for them to come and confirm if we could recieve another vehicle or not. Definerly will not be using this locaiton again.
