The vehicle was very dirty when I received it. The driver's seat was soiled. It was very dusty and smelled like cigarettes. The rear tires were almost worn to the wear bars and the alignment was off (steering wheel was off centered). When I was returning the vehicle back with the online process, it asked me if the van was in a clean condition to allow another family to use. I wanted to select no but it was trying to charge me for clean up when it was not me that dirtied the vehicle. The condition of the vehicle was terrible but I had to get going so I excepted it. The online 24/7 processes was very inconvenient. It took the agent 20 min to get me so called approved so I can rent a U-Haul vehicle. I lost 30 minutes trying to get the rental going and that's also the time I lost from the time frame I had originally reserved. When I called the 800 number to reach out to a U-Haul representative, I was on hold for 30 minutes before someone answered the phone. Time is precious and time is money. U-Haul should focus on making the online process much faster. Less than 5 min would be ideal. And enforce the stores that represent U-Haul have more pride and respect to renters to clean the vehicle.
Make the store a little more clear where you go to pick up the Uhaul keys. Possibly a sign hanging from the ceiling pointing down at the counter that does the Uhaul.
Be upfront about the actual charges from use of this service. Advertised as a $20 rental, but ended up being close to $80. Unacceptable.

Improve your app. Kept losing Network and took forever to pick up truck
The truck I had reserved was not brought back in time. I did not get a truck until an hour and a half after my reservation. The store was busy and the only one person running the counter for the store and the UHAUL desk. It was frustrating.
Everyone is very nice and courteous. This is why I always rent my uhauls there. I would highly recomend friends and family to go there.
Friendly personnel and the process was accomplished smoothly and quickly.
Arrived at my appt time to pick up reserved truck, and the gas station employee mentioned they did not have my truck available. and he had to cancel my reservation, and reserve me a smaller truck.

I was a little disappointed that the rental center could not provide me a copy of the contract with both drivers listed on it. Since the price I was charged was not what was quoted on the phone, I felt that purchasing insurance for a driver that I did not have written down was a moot point. I actually believe the price quoted was with insurance and then the $42 was added again at the site.
The truck size I reserved and payed for was not available cause keys were missing.
I made the assumption that as a corporation you would disinfect the vehicle before renting it. Wrong on my part, It was done because I asked once I got to the site and they used a â€œfabrezeeâ€ type of spray. It was a joke. You are responsible of the safety of your clients and these days that includes the disinfection of the equipment you rent. An air freshener will not do, specially as an afterthought.Other than that everything else was fine.
The cab wasn't very clean. Just food crumbs and oddball small trash. But nothing major
I didn't want to interact with anyone so I opted for the truckshare 24/7 and I still had to get the key from inside instead of the lock box just outside the front door. I then did not get the 17 footer as I reserved, but instead I got the 15 footer. The truck was heavily worn and damaged on the outside. A lot of which was not documented with the sticker(s). Then opening up the truck was a true disappointment. I opened the door and was greeted with a disgusting interior. Crumbs, dust, random debris, empty cigarette box, sim card, etc. The truck was NOT clean. Considering the Covid 19 situation. I had to wipe down the door panel, seat, steering wheel, other controls to feel comfortable. Wipes of which I did not have on me. I had to make the effort while already trying to coordinate 6 other people who were trying to help me move. That was not convenient and truly frustrating. The air conditioning kept turning off while driving and the power steering pump was not happy. The shifter column was very vague and I found myself accidentally driving in the wrong gear.
Due to cross training failure of Jose resulting in two day charge on Safemove, Appliance Dolly, Utility Dolly, and 15' truck for 1000 hrs check in. Returned early at 0830 hrs. Contacted U-Haul billing dispute at 1-800-468-4285 and reached Vikki. She squared my bill away with only a one day charge. Thank you so much.
The mileage for after hours turn in is too difficult to obtain. We should be able to see what starting vehicle and it should remain Visible long enough to get a clear picture.
This is my third time renting here and it is my go to spot! Easy and quick, they have dollies and gas pumps for when you return the truck
Not the locations fault. I left more or less a quarter of a tank more gas than was instructed. Going on cost of gas, I would prefer to not have been charged for going over 5 miles as the hasn't gas costs more than the charge.
This was the best and most pain free location I have ever rented from. Great service!
During this time of being sensitive to Covid-19 the truck was not sanitized.
Using the website to get the key was a nightmare!
